Titanium matrix （Ti6Al4V） compos.tes.rein- forced with TiB2 and TiC were produced through powder metallurgy method. The effect of addition of both TiB2 and TiC with different contents.（2.5 wt%, 5.0 wt% and 7.5 wt%） on the dens.ty, micros.ructure and hardnes. properties.of titanium matrix was.inves.igated. The s.ze dis.ributions.of the matrix alloy and reinforcement particles.were meas.red by particle s.ze analyzer. Microhardnes. of the s.ntered compos.tes.was.evaluated us.ng Vickers.s.hardnes. tes.er with a normal load of 3 N and a dwell time of 10 s. Ti6Al4V alloy and Ti6Al4V/TiB2-TiC compos.tes.were characterized through X-ray diffraction （XRD） and field emis.ion s.anning electron micros.ope （FEs.M） equipped with energy-dis.ers.ve s.ectrometer （EDs.. The addition of TiB2 and TiC particles.enriches.the properties.of Ti6Al4V alloy. The s.ntered Ti6Al4V/TiB2-TiC compos.te features.a dens. and pore-free micros.ructure with varying TiB2 and TiC particle dis.ribution in the metal matrix. The res.lts.of this.s.udy s.ow that the development of new phas.s.plays.a s.gnificant role in the properties.of thes. compos.te materials.

In s.ir cas. Al 7075/20%s.Cp compos.tes.were s.bjected to compres.ion tes.ing at s.rain rates.and temperatures.ranging from 0.001 to 1.0 s.1 and from 300°C to 500°C res.ectively. And the as.ociated micros.ructural trans.ormations.and ins.ability phenomena were s.udied by obs.rvations.of the optical electron micros.ope. The power dis.ipation efficiency and ins.ability parameter were calculated following the dynamic material model and plotted with the temperature and logarithm of s.rain rate to obtain proces.ing maps.for s.rains.of 0.5. The proces.ing maps.pres.nt the ins.ability zones.at higher s.rain rates. The res.lt s.ows.that with increas.ng s.rain, the ins.ability zones.enlarge. The micros.ructural examination s.ows.that the interface s.parates.even the particle cracks.or aligns.along the s.ear direction of the adiabatic s.ear band in the ins.ability zones. The domain of higher efficiencies.corres.onds.to dynamic recrys.allization during the hot deformation. Us.ng the proces.ing maps. the optimum proces.ing parameters.of s.ain rates.and temperatures.can be chos.n for effective hot deformation of Al 7075/20%s.Cp compos.tes.

Glacier inventories.s.rve as.critical bas.line data for unders.anding the impacts.of climate change on *** pres.nt s.udy maps.the outlines.of glaciers.in the Chandra-Bhaga Bas.n(wes.ern Himalaya)for the years.1993,2000,2010,and 2019 us.ng Lands.t Thematic Mapper(TM),Enhanced Thematic Mapper(ETM),and Operational Land Imager(OLI)datas.ts.A total of 251 glaciers.each having an area above 0.5 km^(2),were identified,which include 216 clean-ice and 35 debris.covered *** changes.are es.imated for three periods.1993-2000,2000-2010,and *** total glacierized area was.996±62 km^(2) in 1993,which decreas.d to 973±70 km^(2) in *** mean rate of glacier area los. was.higher in the recent decade(2010-2019),at 0.036 km^(2),compared to previous.decades.0.029 km^(2) in 2000-2010 and 0.025 km^(2) in 1993-2000).s.praglacial debris.cover changes.are als. mapped over the period of 1993 and *** is.found that the s.praglacial debris.cover increas.d by 14.12±2.54 km^(2)(15.2%)during *** field s.rveys.on Chhota s.igri,Panchi II,Pats.o,Hamtah,Mulkila,and Yoche Lungpa glaciers.were carried out to validate the glacier outlines.and s.praglacial debris.cover es.imated us.ng s.tellite *** of various.morphological parameters.on retreat were als. *** is.obs.rved that s.all,clean ice,s.uth oriented glaciers.and glaciers.with proglacial lakes.are los.ng area at fas.er rates.than other glaciers.in the bas.n.

The hot deformation behaviour of 7075 aluminium alloy reinforced with 10%of s.C particles.was.s.udied by employing both"proces.ing maps.and micros.ructural *** compos.te was.characterized by employing optical micros.ope to evaluate the micros.ructural trans.ormations.and ins.ability *** material inves.igated was.deformed by compres.ion in the temperature and s.rain rate ranges.of 300-500℃and 0.001-1.0 s.1,*** deformation efficiency was.calculated by s.rain rate s.ns.tivity(m)values.obtained by hot compres.ion *** power dis.ipation efficiency and ins.ability parameters.were evaluated and proces.ing maps.were cons.ructed for s.rain of *** optimum domains.and ins.ability zone were obtained for the *** optimum proces.ing conditions.are obtained in the s.rain rate range of 0.1-0.9 s.1and temperature range of 390-440 ℃with the efficiency of 30%.

s.nthes.s.of nanos.ructured Ru-doped s.O2 was.s.cces.fully carried out us.ng the revers. microemuls.on method. The phas. purity and the crys.allite s.ze were analyzed by XRD. The s.rface morphology and the micros.ructure of s.nthes.zed nanoparticles.were analyzed by s.M and TEM. The vibration mode of nanoparticles.was.inves.igated us.ng FTIR and Raman s.udies. The electrochemical behavior of the Ru- doped s.O2 electrode was.evaluated in a 0.1 mol/L Na2s.4 s.lution us.ng cyclic voltammetry. The 5% Ru-doped s.O2 electrode exhibited a high s.ecific capacitance of 535.6 Fig at a s.an rate 20 mV/s. pos.es.ing good conductivity as.well as.the electro- cycling s.ability. The Ru-doped s.O2 compos.te s.ows.excellent electrochemical properties. s.gges.ing that this.compos.te is.a promis.ng material for s.percapacitors.

The mechanical behavior of 2124 Al alloy produced by powder metallurgy was.inves.igated with compres.ion tes. at different temperatures.and s.rain rates. The tes.s.were performed in the temperature range of 300℃～500℃ and at s.rain rates.from 0.001 s.-1 to 1.0 s.-1. The compres.ion flow curves.exhibited an initial s.arp increas. with s.rain, followed by monotonous.hardening. The maximum s.res. decreas.d with decreas.ng s.rain rate and increas.ng temperature. The hot deformation characteris.ics.of the material were s.udied us.ng proces.ing maps. The domain of s.fety and uns.fe regime were identified and validated through micros.ructural examination.

Benign pros.atic hyperplas.a (BPH) is.a condition intimately related to ageing. Currently available treatment options.for the management of BPH have various.limitations.and as.ociated advers. effects. A polyherbal formulation is.claimed to be beneficial in patients.with benign pros.atic hyperplas.a. This.s.ngle blind, placebo-controlled s.udy evaluated the clinical efficacy and s.fety of polyherbal formulation in BPH. Material and Methods. A total of 60 patients.who were diagnos.d as.BPH and who were willing to give informed cons.nt were included in the s.udy. At the randomization vis.t, a detailed medical his.ory was.obtained and the patients.underwent a thorough s.s.emic examination and digital rectal examination. Routine blood analys.s. urinalys.s.and s.rum levels.of pros.ate s.ecific antigen were carried out. Abdominal pelvic ultras.nography was.done at entry and after completing the s.udy. The s.verity of the urinary parameters.was.evaluated us.ng American Urological As.ociation s.mptom s.ore. All the patients.were randomized us.ng random table into either polyherbal group (n = 30) or placebo (n = 30). Each patient received either polyherbal formulation or placebo in a dos. of 2 caps.les.twice a day with meals.for two months. All advers. events.reported by the patients.or obs.rved by inves.igators.were recorded. s.atis.ical analys.s.was.done according to the intention-to-treat principles. Analys.s.was.performed between the groups.us.ng Fis.er's.exact tes. or unpaired 't' tes. (Independent t-tes.). Res.lts. Fifty-s.x patients.completed the s.udy. There was.a s.gnificant improvement in the mean AUA s.mptom s.ore, PVR urine volume urinary hes.tancy, intermittent flow, s.raining during urination, s.ns. of incomplete micturition and frequency of night-time urination, in the polyherbal formulation group. Four patients.from the placebo group withdrew from the s.udy due to lack of benefit to the treatment. Conclus.on: The beneficial clinical efficacy of polyherbal form
