The Cs.OC algor.thm is.er.ved by incor.or.ting the concepts.of chaos.theor. to boos. the global optimization capability of the s.OC algor.thm. A two-dimens.onal, multitvar.ate objective analys.s.s.heme for.s.multaneous.analys.s.of geopotential height and wind fields.has.been developed over.Indian and adjoining r.gion for.us. in numer.cal weather.pr.diction. The height-height cor.elations.calculated us.ng daily data of four.July months.(1976-1979), ar. us.d to der.ve the other.autocor.elations.and cr.s.-cor.elations.as.uming geos.r.pic r.lations.ip. A Gaus.ian function is.us.d to model the autocor.elation function. s.nce the s.heme is.multivar.ate the r.gr.s.ion coefficients.(weights. ar. *** the equator. the geos.r.phic appr.ximation r.lating mas. and wind is.decoupled in a way s.milar.to Ber.man (1979). The objective analys.s.wer. made over.Indian and adjoining r.gion for.850, 700, 500, 300 and 200 hPa levels.for.the per.od fr.m 4 July to 8 July 1979, 12 GMT. The analys.s.obtained us.ng multivar.ate optimum inter.olation s.heme depict the s.noptic s.tuations.s.tis.actor.ly. The analys.s.wer. als. compar.d with the FGGE analys.s.(fr.m ECMWF) and als. with the s.ation obs.r.ations.by computing the r.ot mean s.uar. (r.s. er.or.0}and the r.s.er.or.0}ar. compar.ble with thos. obtained in other.s.milar.s.udies.

The electr.chemical pr.per.ies.of the por.us.car.on nanos.her.s.wer. s.udied us.ng cyclic voltammetr.(CV), chr.nopotentiometr.(CP) and electr.chemical impedance s.ectr.s.opy(EIs.. The por.us.car.on nanos.her.s.der.ved fr.m all the thr.e biowas.e s.mples.s.ow good electr.chemical per.or.ance for.s.per.apacitor.application. Por.us.car.on nanos.her.s.der.ved fr.m coconut fiber.exhibited maximum s.ecific capacitance of 236 F/g followed by coconut s.ick and coconut leaves.with 208 and 116 F/g r.s.ectively at a s.an r.te of 2 m V/s. Fur.her.impedance s.udies.s.owed a char.e tr.ns.er.r.s.s.ance of 4.9 for.the por.us.car.on nanos.her.s.der.ved fr.m coconut fiber. while thos. fr.m coconut leaves.and coconut s.ick exhibited a s.ightly higher.r.s.s.ance of 6 and14.2, r.s.ectively. The s.mple eco-fr.endly appr.ach we have demons.r.ted for.s.nthes.zing coconut was.e bas.d car.on nanos.her.s.makes.them excellent candidates.for.futur., low-cos., ener.y s.or.ge devices.
