Ls.8(GpL) negatively regulates.amino acid bios.nthes.s.as.a component of the TOR pathway in *** are two homologs.of Ls.8 in Arabidops.s.AtLs.8.1(At2g22040) and AtLs.8.2(At3gl8140).Here we demons.rate that both AtLs.8.1 and AtLs.8.2 interact with TOR ***8.2 complements.the function of yeas. Ls.8,while AtLs.8.1 does.***8.1 and AtLs.8.2 have differential expres.ion levels.in plant ***8.1 only trans.ribed and expres.ed in *** expres.ion of AtLs.8.1 in wild type Arabidops.s.down regulates.the expres.ion of AtLs.8.2 and repres.es.the primary bolting with increas.d ***8.2 is.an es.ential gene for plant development as.three T-DNA ins.rtion mutants.s.owed that dis.uption of AtLs.8.2 leads.to embryo *** expres.ion of AtLs.8.2 in wild type plants.down regulates.its.own expres.ion,and increas.s.the expres.ion of AtLs.8.1,res.lting in the plants.that are hypers.ns.tive to light *** s.rong light halts.the growth of AtLs.8.2-trans.enic *** of GFP with AtLs.8.2 and its.expres.ion revealed that AtLs.8.2 is.pres.nt in *** PGK1,a glycolytic enzyme which is.als. expres.ed in chloroplas.,revers.s.the res.ons. to AtLs.8.2 expres.ion *** data s.gges. that AtLs.8 proteins.play an important role in photos.nthes.s.and pos.ibly amino acid metabolis. in plants.

Achieving good recognition res.lts.for Licens. plates.is.challenging due to multiple advers. factors. For ins.ance, in Malays.a, where private vehicle （e.g., cars. have numbers.with dark background, while public vehicle （taxis.cabs. have numbers.with white background. To reduce the complexity of the problem, we propos. to clas.ify the above two types.of images.s.ch that one can choos. an appropriate method to achieve better res.lts. Therefore, in this.work, we explore the combination of Convolutional Neural Networks.（CNN） and Recurrent Neural Networks.namely, BLs.M （Bi-Directional Long s.ort Term Memory）, for recognition. The CNN has.been us.d for feature extraction as.it has.high dis.riminative ability, at the s.me time, BLs.M has.the ability to extract context information bas.d on the pas. information. For clas.ification, we propos. Dens. Clus.er bas.d Voting （DCV）, which s.parates.foreground and background for s.cces.ful clas.ification of private and public. Experimental res.lts.on live data given by MIMOs. which is.funded by Malays.an Government and the s.andard datas.t UCs. s.ow that the propos.d clas.ification outperforms.the exis.ing methods. In addition, the recognition res.lts.s.ow that the recognition performance improves.s.gnificantly after clas.ification compared to before clas.ification.

AIM, To s.udy the role of N-acetylcys.eine （NAC） as.a protective agent in rifampicin （RMP）-induced oxidative hepatic injury of young rats. METHODs. Hepatic injury was.produced by giving 50mg/kg body weight/day of RMP for 3 wk. A dos. of NAC （100mg/kg body weight/day） was.given in combination with RMP intraperitoneally. Analys.s.of lipid peroxidation, thiol levels. cytochrome P4s., s.peroxide dis.utas. （s.D）, catalas., glutathione peroxidas., reductas. and trans.eras. were es.imated in liver along with the body weight, liver weight and his.ological obs.rvations. REs.LTs. RMP expos.re res.lted in no change in body and liver weight while antioxidative enzymes.were altered but the non protein thiol （Gs.） s.atus.was.well pres.rved. Cytochrome P450 s.s.em and peroxidation of lipids.were induced by RMP expos.re. Partial protection was.obs.rved with NAC agains. RMP-induced changes.in liver, which was.evidenced from the prevention of increas. in lipid peroxidation and the reduction in s.D and catalas. enzyme levels. CONCLUs.ON. NAC protects.young rats.agains. RMP- induced oxidative hepatic injury.

s.rghum[s.rghum bicolor(L.)Moench]can benefit from accelerated breeding and releas. of improved varieties.through doubled haploid *** technology has.been us.d in s.eeding up the breeding of other major cereals.s.ch as.wheat,maize and rice,for which generally widely applied optimis.d protocols.exis..A reproducible protocol for the crop,that can overcome genotype dependency and other s.ecies.s.ecific challenges.s.ch as.phenolic exudation is.however *** s.udy aimed at s.rghum doubled haploids.production thereby contributing to the development of an improved *** the 28 hybrid genotypes.both F1 regis.ered-and experimental hybrids.involved,this.s.udy s.cces.fully produced haploids.from five genotypes.and s.bs.quently,four confirmed doubled-haploid lines.on W14mf medium or its.modification with 1.0 gl^(-1)L-proline,1.0 gl^(-1)L-as.aragine and 1.0 gl^(-1)KH_(2)PO_(4).Medium 190-2Cu was.us.d for regeneration and rooting,which occurred s.cces.fully,if the calli were trans.erred on to it les. than 7 days.after induction,and temperature was.maintained at 25°C under light *** dependency was.not wholly overcome;however,s.rghum’s.high tillering ability and abiotic s.res. tolerance were obs.rved to contribute to attainment of haploid *** diploids.producing s.eds.at rates.of upto 80.5%were obtained,therefore eliminating the need for colchicine duplication.

Achieving high recognition rate for licens. plate images.is.challenging due to multi-type images. We pres.nt new s.mmetry features.bas.d on s.roke width for clas.ifying each input licens. image as.private, taxi, curs.ve text, when they expand the s.mbols.by writing and non-text s.ch that an appropriate optical character recognition （OCR） can be chos.n for enhancing recognition performance. The propos.d method explores.gradient vector flow （GVF） for defining s.mmetry features. namely, GVF oppos.te direction, s.roke width dis.ance, and s.roke pixel direction. s.roke pixels.in Canny and s.bel which s.tis.y the above s.mmetry features.are called local candidate s.roke pixels. Common s.roke pixels.of the local candidate s.roke pixels.are cons.dered as.the global candidate s.roke pixels. s.atial dis.ribution of s.roke pixels.in local and global s.mmetry are explored by generating a weighted proximity matrix to extract s.atis.ical features. namely, mean, s.andard deviation, median and s.andard deviation with res.ect the median. The feature matrix is.finally fed to an s.pport vector machine （s.M） clas.ifier for clas.ification. Experimental res.lts.on large datas.ts.for clas.ification s.ow that the propos.d method outperforms.the exis.ing methods. The us.fulnes. and effectivenes. of the propos.d clas.ification is.demons.rated by conducting recognition experiments.before and after clas.ification.
