We formulate and analyze a predator-prey model followed by Les.ie-Gower model in which the prey population is.infected by dis.as.. We as.ume that the dis.as. can only s.read over prey population. As.a res.lt prey population has.been clas.ified into two categories. namely s.s.eptible prey, infected prey where as.the predator population remains.free from infection. To inves.igate the behaviour of prey population we incorporate prey refuge in this.model. s.nce the prey refuge decreas.s.the predation rate then it has.an important effect in our predator-prey interaction model. We have dis.us.ed the exis.ence of various.equilibrium points.and local s.ability analys.s.at thos. equilibrium points. We inves.igate the Hopf-bifurcation analys.s.about the interior equilibrium point by taking the rate of infection parameter and the prey refuge parameter as.bifurcation parameters. The numerical analys.s.is.carried out to s.pport the analytical res.lts.and to dis.us. s.me interes.ing res.lts.that our model exhibits.

Incorporating aluminum metal-organic frameworks.Al-MOFs.as.energetic additives.for s.lid fuels.pres.nts.a promis.ng avenue for enhancing combus.ion *** s.udy explores.the potential benefits.of Al-MOF(MIL-53(Al))energetic additive on the combus.ion performance of hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene(HTPB)*** HTPB-MOF fuel s.mples.were manufactured us.ng the vacuum-cas.ing technique,followed by a comprehens.ve evaluation of their ignition and combus.ion properties.us.ng an oppos.d flow burner(OFB)s.tup utilizing gas.ous.oxygen as.an *** gauge the effectivenes. of Al-MOFs.as.fuel additives.their impact is.compared with that of nano-aluminum(nAl),another traditional additive in HTPB *** res.lts.indicate that the addition of 15%(mas. fraction)nAl into HTPB res.lted in the s.ortes. ignition delay time(136 ms.,demons.rating improved ignition performance compared to pure HTPB(273 ms..The incorporation of Al-MOF in HTPB als. reduced ignition delay times.to 227 ms.and 189 ms.***,under high oxidizer mas. flux conditions.79—81 kg/(m^(2)s.),HTPB fuel with 15%nAl exhibited a s.bs.antial 83.2%increas. in regres.ion rate compared to the bas.line HTPB fuel,highlighting the pos.tive influence of nAl on combus.ion *** contras.,HTPB-MOF with a 15%Al-MOF additive s.owed a 32.7%increas. in regres.ion rate compared to pure *** res.lts.s.gges. that HTPB-nAl outperforms.HTPB-MOF in terms.of regres.ion rates.indicating a more vigorous.and rapid burning behavior.

Mathematical relations.are developed to compute optimum inclination angle of boos.er mirror for horizontally placed cooker (λ) and for optimally inclined cooker (ψ) during all months.(s.lected day) of the year at 30°N latitude for maximizing the reflected component of s.lar intens.ty onto the abs.rber plate of the cooker. A s.lar radiation model is.als. developed and us.d to compute the ratio of various.s.lar intens.ties.on horizontal, inclined and normal s.rface of the abs.rber plate for all months.at 30°N latitude. Thes. ratios.give a clear indication of greater s.lar radiation availability on the optimally inclined cooker as.compared to the horizontally placed cooker for fas.er cooking es.ecially during winter months.when s.lar radiation capture is.s.all. Experimental validations.have als. been performed to acces. the accuracy of the developed relations.and model.

Metal additives.play an es.ential role in explos.ve and propellant formulations. Boron(B) is.widely us.d in propellant applications.owing to its.high energetic content. The addition of B to explos.ves.and propellants.increas.s.their energy dens.ty, making them more efficient and powerful. Nevertheles., B forms.oxide layers.on its.s.rface during combus.ion, s.owing down the combus.ion rate and reducing rocket motor efficiency. To overcome this.is.ue, other metal additives.s.ch as.aluminum(Al), magnes.um(Mg),and titanium(Ti) are revealed to be effective in boos.ing the combus.ion rate of propellants. Thes. additives.may improve the combus.ion rate and therefore enhance the rocket motor’s.performance. The pres.nt s.udy focus.d on preparing and inves.igating the ignition and combus.ion behavior of pure hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene(HTPB)-B fuel s.pplemented with nano-titanium and nanomagnes.um. The burn rates.of HTPB-B fuel s.mples.were evaluated on the oppos.d flow burner(OFB)under a gas.ous.oxygen oxidizer, for which the mas. flux ranges.from 22 kg/(m^(2)·s. to 86 kg/(m^(2)·s.. The addition of Ti and Mg exhibited higher regres.ion rates. which were attributed to the improved oxidation reaction of B due to the s.nergetic metal combus.ion effect. The pos.ible combus.ion/oxidation reaction mechanis. of B-Mg and B-Ti by heating the fuel s.mples.at 900℃ and 1100℃ was.als. examined in a Nabertherm burnout furnace under an oxygen atmos.here. The pos.-combus.ion products.were collected and further s.bjected to X-ray diffraction(XRD) and field emis.ion s.anning electron micros.opy(FE-s.M) analys.s.to ins.ect the combus.ion behavior of B-Ti and B-Mg. It has.been obs.rved that the B oxide layer at the interface between B-Ti(B-Mg) is.removed at lower temperatures. hence facilitating oxygen trans.er from the s.rroundings.to the core B. Additionally, Ti and Mg decreas.d the ignition delay time of B, which improved its.combus.ion performance.

Facial as.mmetry can be acquired or congenital. Patients.with facial as.mmetry are not always.functionally dis.urbed by the malfunction but are us.ally very much dis.urbed by their external appearance. Depending on the degree of as.mmetry and deformation, the s.rgical procedure may vary in complexity and extent. The extent of s.rgery can range from a genioplas.y procedure to bimaxillary os.eotomy, concomitant with augmentation s.rgery, genioplas.y and craniofacial implants.along with mandibular dis.raction. In s.vere cas.s. the s.ft tis.ue s.ructures.on the affected s.de may cons.itute an incredible res.s.ance to s.retching and can make the s.rgery cons.derably more difficult and liable to relaps.. Here we repres.nt a cas. of pos. ankylotic facial as.mmetry with occlus.l cant which was.treated by bimaxillary dis.raction os.eogenes.s. s.multaneous.mandibular and maxillary dis.raction corrected the facial as.mmetry without dis.urbing the pre-exis.ing compens.ted dental occlus.on, and s. there was.no need for prolonged and difficult orthodontic treatment.
