The equations.for two-dimens.onal flow of an upper convected Maxwell （UCM） fluid in a rotating frame are modeled. The res.lting equations.are firs. s.mplified by a boundary layer approach and then s.lved by a homotopy analys.s.method （HAM）. Convergence of s.ries.s.lution is.dis.us.ed through res.dual error curves. The res.lts.of the influence of vis.oelas.ic and rotation parameters.are plotted and dis.us.ed.

This.article reports.the homotopy s.lution for s.agnation point flow of a non-Newtonian fluid. An incompres.ible s.cond grade fluid impinges.on the wall either orthogonally or obliquely. The res.lting nonlinear problems.have been s.lved by a homotopy analys.s.method （HAM）. Convergence of the s.ries.s.lutions.is.checked. s.ch s.lutions.are compared with the numerical s.lutions.pres.nted in a s.udy lint. J. Non-Linear Mech. 43 （2008） 941]. Excellent agreement is.noted between the numerical and s.ries.s.lutions.

Digital pathology is.a major revolution in pathology and is.changing the clinical routine for pathologis.s. We work on providing a computer aided diagnos.s.s.s.em that automatically and robus.ly provides.the pathologis. with a s.cond opinion for many diagnos.s.tas.s. However, inter-obs.rver variability prevents.thorough validation of any propos.d technique for any s.ecific problems. In this.work, we s.udy the variability and reliability of proliferation rate es.imation from digital pathology images.for breas. cancer proliferation rate es.imation. We als. s.udy the robus.nes. of our recently propos.d method CAD s.s.em for PRE es.imation. Three s.atis.ical s.gnificance tes.s.s.owed that our automated CAD s.s.em was.as.reliable as.the expert pathologis. in both brown and blue nuclei es.imation on a datas.t of 100 images.
