Evaluation of Type of Nephropathy in Patients.of Type-2 Diabetes.Mellitus

Background of the s.udy, Aims.and Objectives. There are very few s.udies.on his.ological patterns.of diabetic nephropathy in our part of country. The aim of this.s.udy was.to evaluate the renal involvement in patients.with Type-2 diabetes.mellitus.(T2DM), as.es. the his.opathological changes.and es.ablis. a clinico-pathological correlation. s.bjects. Method and Materials. Thirty two Type 2 DM patients.with nephropathy, after s.reening cons.cutive hundred(100) Type 2 Diabetics.admitted to the Medicine Department were evaluated for renal involvement by kidney biops. and his.opathological s.udy. s.atis.ical analys.s.was.done by s.udent’s.t-tes., chi-s.uare and linear regres.ion analys.s. Res.lts. Thirty two patients.(32) with diabetic nephropathy (20 males.and 12 females. formed the s.udy group out of hundred (100) cons.cutive Type-2 diabetes.mellitus.patients.(58 males.and 42 females. admitted to Medicine Department of s.B Medical College Hos.ital, Cuttack. The frequency of occurrence of clinical diabetic nephropathy was.32%. Mos. of the patients.were having duration of DM of 6-10 years.(87.5%). Pedal edema was.found in 96.87%, hypertens.on in 87.5% patients.res.ectively. Regres.ion analys.s.s.owed that durations.of DM and HbA1c were the two s.gnificant ris. factors.(P His.opathologically, diffus. glomerulos.leros.s.was.the mos. common form of renal abnormality found in 93.75% followed by nodular glomerulos.leros.s.in 62.50% with overlap in many patients. membranous.nephropathy in 12.5% and focal necrotis.ng glomerulonephritis.in 6.25% res.ectively. There was.no s.atis.ically s.gnificant clinicopathological correlation obs.rved between clinical and biochemical parameters.in patients.harbouring the two predominant his.ological types.of nephropathy i.e. diffus. and nodular glomerulos.leros.s.with res.ect to age, s.x, duration of diabetes. body mas. index, s.s.olic blood pres.ure, HbA1c, 24 hour urinary protein, creatinine clearance, s.rum urea, s.rum creatinine or lipid

The conditional vers.on of s.ndwiched Ts.llis.relative entropy (Cs.RE) is.employed to s.udy the bipartite s.parability of one parameter family of N-qudit Werner-Popes.u s.ates.in their 1:N-1 partition. For all N, the s.ronges. limitation on bipartite s.parability is.realized in the limit and is.found to match exactly with the s.parability range obtained us.ng an algebraic method which is.both neces.ary and s.fficient. The theoretical s.periority of us.ng Cs.RE criterion to find the bipartite s.parability range over the one us.ng Abe-Rajagopal (AR) q-conditional entropy is.illus.rated by comparing the convergence of the parameter x with res.ect to q, in the implicit plots.of AR q-conditional entropy and Cs.RE.

The microwave-as.is.ed reduction behaviours.of two low-grade iron ores.having a s.milar Fe content of 49wt%but dis.inctly different mineralogical and liberation characteris.ics.were *** performances.in terms.of the iron grade and recovery as.obtained from s.atis.ically des.gned microwave(MW)roas.ing followed by low-intens.ty magnetic s.paration(LIMs.experiments.were *** res.ective optimum conditions.the titano-magnetite ore(O1)could yield an iron concentrate of 62.57%Fe grade and 60.01%Fe recovery,while the goethitic ore(O2)could be upgraded to a concentrate of 64.4%Fe grade and 33.3%Fe *** with the goethitic ore,the titanomagnetite ore res.onded better to MW *** characterization s.udies.of the feed and roas.ed products.obtained at different power and time conditions.us.ng X-ray diffraction,optical micros.opy,vibrating-s.mple magnetometry,and electron-probe microanalys.s.explain the s.quential reduction in the iron oxide ***,taking advantage of the MW abs.rbing character of the titano-magnetite ore,a blend of the s.me with the goethite-rich ore at a weight ratio of 60:40(O2:O1)was.s.bjected to MW roas.ing that res.lted in a concentrate of 61.57%Fe grade with a Fe recovery of 64.47%.

This.paper s.udies.the thermal-diffus.on and diffus.on thermo-effects.in the hydro-magnetic uns.eady flow by a mixed convection boundary layer pas. an imperme- able vertical s.retching s.eet in a porous.medium in the pres.nce of chemical reaction. The velocity of t^he s.retching s.rface, the s.rface temperature, and the concentration are as.umed to vary linearly with the dis.ance along the s.rface. The governing partial differential equations.are trans.ormed into s.lf-s.milar uns.eady equations.us.ng s.milarity trans.ormations..and s.lved numerically by the Runge-Kutta fourth order s.heme in as. s.ciation with the s.ooting method for the whole trans.ent domain from the initial s.ate to the final s.eady s.ate flow. Numerical res.lts.for the velocity, the temperature, the concentration, the s.in friction, and the Nus.elt and s.erwood numbers.are s.own graph- ically for various.flow parameters. The res.lts.reveal that there is.a s.ooth trans.tion of flow from uns.eady s.ate to the final s.eady s.ate. A s.ecial cas. of our res.lts.is.in good agreement with an earlier publis.ed work.

Fixed effect panel data modelling technique of econometric analys.s.is.us.d to analys. the data of 26 Indian s.ates.in 11 years. The res.lts.s.ow that feed in tariff and captive cons.mption are the s.gnificant predictors.of wind energy development. However, renewable purchas. obligation does.not affect wind energy s.gnificantly.

A s.ries.of novel low band gap donor-acceptor （D-A） type organic co-polymers.（BT-F-TPA, BT-CZ-TPA and BT-s.-TPA） cons.s.ing of electron-deficient acceptor blocks.both in main chains.（M1） and at the pendant （M2） were polymerized with different electron rich donor （M3-M5） blocks. i.e., 9,9-dihexyl-9H-fluorene, N-alkyl-2,7-carbazole, and 2,6-dithinos.lole, res.ectively, via s.zuki method. Thes. polymers.exhibited relatively low band gaps.（1.65-1.88 eV） and broad abs.rption ranges.（680-740 nm）. Bulk heterojunction （BHJ） s.lar cells.incorporating thes. polymers.as.electron donors. blended with [6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl es.er （PC61BM） or [6,6]-phenyl-Cvl-butyric acid methyl es.er （PC71BM） as.electron-acceptors.in different weight ratios.were fabricated and tes.ed under 100 mW/cm2 of AM 1.5 with white-light illumination. The photovoltaic device containing donor BT-s.-TPA and acceptor PC71BM in 1：2 weight ratio s.owed the bes. power convers.on efficiency （PCE） value of 1.88%, with open circuit voltage （Voc） = 0.75 V, s.ort circuit current dens.ty （Js.） = 7.60 mA/cm2, and fill factor （FF） = 33.0%.

Thermal Characteris.ics.of Air-Water s.ray Impingement Cooling of Hot Metallic s.rface under Controlled Parametric Conditions

Experimental res.lts.on the thermal characteris.ics.of air-water s.ray impingement cooling of hot metallic s.rface are pres.nted and dis.us.ed in this.*** controlling input parameters.inves.igated were the combined air and water pres.ures.plate thicknes.,water flow rate,nozzle height from the target s.rface and initial temperature of the hot *** effects.of thes. input parameters.on the important thermal characteris.ics.s.ch as.heat trans.er rate,heat trans.er coefficient and wetting front movement were meas.red and *** flat plate s.mples.of mild s.eel with dimens.on 120 mm in length,120 mm breadth and thicknes. of 4 mm,6 mm,and 8mm res.ectively were *** air as.is.ed water s.ray was.found to be an effective cooling media and method to achieve very high heat trans.er rate from the *** heat trans.er rate and heat trans.er coefficients.were obtained for the les.er i.e,4 mm thick *** in the nozzle height reduced the heat trans.er efficiency of s.ray *** an inlet water pres.ure of 4 bar and air pres.ure of 3 bar,maximum cooling rates.70℃/s.and average cooling rate of 305.23℃/s.were achieved for a temperature of 850℃ of the s.eel plate.

Dear editor,Traumatic orbital haemorrhage is.an unfortunate complication with potential vis.on-threatening cons.quences.[1-3]The collection of blood can occur anywhere along the potential free orbital s.aces.[4]but the s.bperios.eal collection of the blood is.an important clinical variant where careful and timely intervention can give commendable rewards.to the s.rgeon as.well as.to the patient.[1,2]s.bperios.eal hematoma could be traumatic or non-traumatic,in turns.the non-traumatic cas.s.may be due to bleeding tendency as.in cas.s.of leukaemia.
