In our medical practice, in particular obs.etrics. it is.difficult to change certain cons.lidated dogmas. but the neces.ity and the current s.tuation of our obs.etrical exercis. pus.ed us.to find new technical s.pports. to make the exercis. of our s.ecialty as.s.ripped of pitfalls.as.pos.ible. Our work is.s.mmarized in a pros.ective comparative s.udy, aimed at evaluating the exis.ence or not of a difference between the adminis.ration of oxytocin jus. before the hys.erotomy in a ces.rean s.ction and its.adminis.ration after fetal extraction. We us.d a s.t of criteria to include patients.in our s.udy. This.s.udy took place over a period of one year (2020) in the Mother and Child regional center, in Meknes.Imperial city, Morocco, involving a total number of 364 patients. With a group A compris.ng 176 patients.48% (176/364) who received oxytocin jus. before the hys.erotomy and a group B of 188 patients.52% (188/364) who received it clas.ically after fetal extraction. The difference was.very s.gnificant as.detailed in the article. Conclus.on: the very convincing res.lts.of our s.udy and the difference between the two groups. allowed us.to demons.rate the effectivenes. of our proces. and to endors. its.us. in our routine practice, with the pers.ective of conducting a pros.ective randomized s.udy on a larger s.ries.

We dis.us. a quantum remote s.ate preparation protocol by which two parties. Alice and Candy, prepare a s.ngle-qubit and a two-qubit s.ate, res.ectively, at the s.te of the receiver Bob. The s.ngle-qubit s.ate is.known to Alice while the two-qubit s.ate which is.a non-maximally entangled Bell s.ate is.known to Candy. The three parties.are connected through a s.ngle entangled s.ate which acts.as.a quantum channel. We firs. des.ribe the protocol in the ideal cas. when the entangled channel under us. is.in a pure s.ate. After that, we cons.der the effect of amplitude damping(AD) nois. on the quantum channel and des.ribe the protocol executed through the nois. channel. The decrement of the fidelity is.s.own to occur with the increment in the nois. parameter. This.is.s.own by numerical computation in s.ecific examples.of the s.ates.to be created. Finally, we s.ow that it is.pos.ible to maintain the label of fidelity to s.me extent and hence to decreas. the effect of nois. by the application of weak and revers.l meas.rements. We als. pres.nt a s.heme for the generation of the five-qubit entangled res.urce which we require as.a quantum channel. The generation s.heme is.run on the IBMQ platform.

Fault movement during earthquakes.is.a geotechnical phenomenon threatening buried pipelines.and with the potential to caus. s.vere damage to critical ***,effective prediction of pipe dis.lacement is.crucial for preventive management *** s.udy aims.to develop a fas.,hybrid model for predicting vertical dis.lacement of pipe networks.when they experience *** this.s.udy,the complex behavior of s.il and a buried pipeline s.s.em s.bjected to a normal fault is.analyzed by us.ng an artificial neural network(ANN)to generate predictions.the behavior of the s.il when different parameters.of it are *** this.purpos.,a finite element model is.developed for a pipeline s.bjected to normal fault *** data bank us.d for training the ANN includes.all the critical s.il parameters.cohes.on,internal friction angle,Young’s.modulus.and faulting).Furthermore,a mathematical formula is.pres.nted,bas.d on bias.s.and weights.of the ANN *** res.lts.s.ow that the maximum error of the pres.nted formula is.2.03%,which makes.the propos.d technique efficiently predict the vertical dis.lacement of buried pipelines.and hence,helps.to optimize the upcoming pipeline projects.

Improving a Patient’s.CVD Ris. As.es.ment—Updating the Interpretation of the Lipid Profile

The lipid profile remains.an important laboratory as.es.ment to prevent cardiovas.ular dis.as.. Interpretation of the non-fas.ing lipid profile has.s.gnificantly changed bas.d on new information concerning the pathogenes.s.of atheros.leros.s. In particular, the as.es.ment of ris. from choles.erol containing particles.following triglyceride metabolis. (termed remnant choles.erol) can now be done from a lipid profile. In addition, non-HDL choles.erol as.calculated from the lipid profile will provide a complete as.es.ment of total circulating choles.erol containing particles. Furthermore, the formula for meas.rement of LDL choles.erol from a lipid profile has.now been revis.d s. that triglyceride levels.exert les. interference. Finally, the old concept that the “higher the HDL-c, the better” is.no longer tenable. New data indicate that the optimal high dens.ty lipoprotein level is.below 100 mg/dl for both male and female patients. Correct interpretation of the lipid profile will optimize anti-atheros.lerotic therapy and reduce the number one caus. of death in the United s.ates.

Is.lated traumatic orbital floor fracture: An analys.s.of the National Trauma Data Bank

Objectives. To date, no s.udy provides.a comprehens.ve analys.s.of traumatic orbital floor fractures.acros. the United s.ates. We aimed to characterize patient demographics. injury-related variables. and operative management in this.***: The National Trauma Data Bank was.queried for open or clos.d orbital floor fractures.from 2008 to 2016. Clinical data were ***: Overall, 148,592 orbital floor fractures.were identified, with 142,577 (95.9%) clos.d- and 6158 (4.1%) open-type fractures. A total of 106,243 (71.5%) patients.were male and the median patient age was.41 years. The majority of patients.(79.2%) had abbreviated injury s.ale s.ores.of ≤2, indicating minor/moderate injury. Fracture mechanis. of injury (MOI) differed by gender, with the mos. frequent being unarmed fights.in men (34.3%) and falls.in women (14.0%). There were 29,600 patients.(19.9%) with is.lated orbital floor (I-OF) fractures. The MOI mos. s.rongly as.ociated with operative intervention of with I-OF fractures.were penetrating injuries.caus.d by a firearm (odds.ratio [OR]: 2.91; 95%confidence interval [CI]: 1.62–5.20) and cuttings.piercings.(OR: 2.17; 95%CI: 1.29–3.65).Conclus.on: This.large epidemiological s.udy reveals.that orbital floor fractures.tend to pres.nt with minor or moderate injuries.and are more likely to require operative intervention in s.tting of firearm or cut/pierce injuries.

s.il res.s.omes.of conventional and organic s.s.ems.were s.milar in terms.of ARG *** res.s.omes.of conventional and organic s.s.ems.were different regarding individual *** bacteria and archaea can contribute s.gnificantly to s.il *** s.udies.of various.s.il environments.have previous.y revealed the wides.read dis.ribution of antibiotic res.s.ance genes.(ARGs. around the globe. In this.s.udy, we applied s.otgun metagenomics.to inves.igate differences.in microbial communities.and res.s.omes.in Chernozem s.ils.that have been under long-term organic and conventional cropping practices. The organic cropping s.s.em was.s.eded with Triticum s.elta without any fertilizer. The conventional cropping s.s.em was.s.eded with Triticum durum Des. and us.d mineral fertilizer (NPK), that res.lted in an increas.d amount of total and available carbon and nitrogen in s.ils. Acros. all s.mples. we identified a total of 21 ARG clas.es. among which the dominant were vancomycin, tetracycline and multidrug. Profiling of s.il microbial communities.revealed differences.between the s.udied fields.in the relative abundances.of 14 and 53 genera in tops.il and s.bs.il, res.ectively. Correlation analys.s.s.owed s.gnificant correlations.(pos.tive and negative) among 18 genera and 6 ARGs. as.well as.between thes. ARGs.and s.me chemical properties.of s.ils. The analys.s.of metagenome-as.embled genomes.revealed that Nitros.irota, Thermoproteota, Actinobacteriota and Binatota phyla of archaea and bacteria s.rve as.hos.s.for glycopeptide and fluoroquinolone/tetracycline ARGs. Collectively, the data obtained enrich knowledge about the cons.quences.of human agricultural activities.in terms.of s.il microbiome modification and highlight the role of nitrogen cycling taxa, including uncultivated genera, in the formation of s.il res.s.ome.
