On the Large Helical Device （LHD） where nes.ed magnetic s.rfaces.are s.rrounded by the ergodic field layer, edge trans.ort barrier （ETB） was.produced in neutral-beam-injection （NBI） heated plas.as.through trans.tion and non-trans.tion proces.es. The former cas. is.the ETB formation by L-Htrans.tion, where characteris.ics.of L-H trans.tion obs.rved in a tokamak plas.a are clearly recognized. The confinement improvement is.the modes. （- 10%）, compared with the Is.95 international s.ellarator s.aling. The thres.old power for the trans.tion is.comparable or s.ightly lower than the ITER s.aling law es.ablis.ed by tokamaks.and compact tori. The ETB is.formed ins.de the ergodic field layer of the vacuum field. The ETB formation des.abilizes.edge coherent modes.s.ch as.m/n = 1/1, 2/3 and 1/2, of which rational s.rfaces.are in the magnetic hill. The formed ETB is.partially and trans.ently des.royed by thes. coherent edge MHD modes.and edge localized modes.（ELMs. typically obs.rved in Ha s.gnals. The latter ETB is.obs.rved in a plas.a with large revers.d NBI-driven current more than 100 kA at Bt = 1 T. In thes. plas.as. the edge magnetic s.ear is.enhanced by the current and the rotational trans.orm in the core region is.expected to be appreciably reduced. Thus.reduced rotational trans.orm in the plas.a central region will enhance outward heat and particle fluxes.toward ergodic edge layer. The ETB with s.eep electron temperature gradient up to - 5 keV/m is.formed by blocking enhanced outward heat flux.

Hydrogen Concentration of Co-Depos.ted Carbon Films.Produced in the Vicinity of Local Is.and Divertor in LHD

In international thermonuclear experimental reactor (ITER), one of major concerns.is.an in-ves.el tritium inventory from a point of s.fety. It is.believed that the carbon–tritium co-depos.ted film produced by the eros.on of carbon diverter walls.has.a high tritium concentration. However, no s.s.ematic evaluation for the tritium concentration has.been conducted yet. In the pres.nt s.udy, the carbon-hydrogen co-depos.ted films.were prepared at the wall of pumping duct in Local Is.and Divertor experiments.of LHD, in order to evaluate the tritium concentration of the co-depos.ted films.produced in ITER. The hydrogen concentration was.obtained by meas.ring the amount of retained hydrogen in the film and the mas. dens.ty of the film. The hydrogen concentration of the co-depos.ted carbon film at the wall not facing to the plas.a with a low temperature was.extremely high, 1.3 in the atomic ratio of H/C. This.value is.triple times.higher than the previous.value obtained s. far. The crys.al s.ructure of the co-depos.ted carbon film obs.rved by Raman s.ectros.opy s.owed very unique s.ructure (polymeric a -C: H), which is.well cons.s.ent with the high hydrogen concentration. The pres.nt s.udy s.gges.s.that the tritium concentration of the co-depos.ted film in ITER depends.on the wall pos.tion and becomes.quite high as.high as.T/C~0.65. The res.lts.obtained contribute to evaluate the in-ves.el tritium inventory owing to the co-depos.ted carbon films.

In the Large Helical Device （LHD）, two different divertor configurations. i.e. helical divertor （HD） and local is.and divertor （LID）, are utilized to control the edge plas.a. The HD with two X-points.is.an intrins.c divertor for heliotron devices. accompanied with a relatively thick ergodic layer outs.de the confinement region. Edge and divertor plas.a behavior from low dens.ty to high dens.ty regimes.is.pres.nted, referring to the divertor detachment. The effect of the ergodic layer on the edge trans.ort is.als. dis.us.ed. On the other hand, the LID is.an advanced divertor concept which realizes.a high pumping efficiency by the combination of an externally induced magnetic is.and and a clos.d pumping s.s.em. Experimental res.lts.to confirm the fundamental divertor performance of the LID are pres.nted.

A long-puls. plas.a dis.harge for more than 30 min.was.achieved on the LargeHelical Device(LHD).A plas.a of n_e=0.8×10^(19)m^(-3)and T_(iO)=2.0 keV was.s.s.ained withP_(ICH)=0.52 MW,P_(ECH)=0.1 MW and averaged P_(NBI)=0.067 MW.Total injected heatingenergy was.1.3 GJ,which was.a quarter of the prepared RF heating energy.One of the keys.to thes.cces. of the experiment was.a dis.ers.on of the local plas.a heat load to divertors.accomplis.edby s.ifting the magnetic axis.inward and outward.

We dis.us. a quantum remote s.ate preparation protocol by which two parties. Alice and Candy, prepare a s.ngle-qubit and a two-qubit s.ate, res.ectively, at the s.te of the receiver Bob. The s.ngle-qubit s.ate is.known to Alice while the two-qubit s.ate which is.a non-maximally entangled Bell s.ate is.known to Candy. The three parties.are connected through a s.ngle entangled s.ate which acts.as.a quantum channel. We firs. des.ribe the protocol in the ideal cas. when the entangled channel under us. is.in a pure s.ate. After that, we cons.der the effect of amplitude damping(AD) nois. on the quantum channel and des.ribe the protocol executed through the nois. channel. The decrement of the fidelity is.s.own to occur with the increment in the nois. parameter. This.is.s.own by numerical computation in s.ecific examples.of the s.ates.to be created. Finally, we s.ow that it is.pos.ible to maintain the label of fidelity to s.me extent and hence to decreas. the effect of nois. by the application of weak and revers.l meas.rements. We als. pres.nt a s.heme for the generation of the five-qubit entangled res.urce which we require as.a quantum channel. The generation s.heme is.run on the IBMQ platform.

Fault movement during earthquakes.is.a geotechnical phenomenon threatening buried pipelines.and with the potential to caus. s.vere damage to critical infras.ructures.Therefore,effective prediction of pipe dis.lacement is.crucial for preventive management s.rategies.This.s.udy aims.to develop a fas.,hybrid model for predicting vertical dis.lacement of pipe networks.when they experience faulting.In this.s.udy,the complex behavior of s.il and a buried pipeline s.s.em s.bjected to a normal fault is.analyzed by us.ng an artificial neural network(ANN)to generate predictions.the behavior of the s.il when different parameters.of it are changed.For this.purpos.,a finite element model is.developed for a pipeline s.bjected to normal fault dis.lacements.The data bank us.d for training the ANN includes.all the critical s.il parameters.cohes.on,internal friction angle,Young’s.modulus.and faulting).Furthermore,a mathematical formula is.pres.nted,bas.d on bias.s.and weights.of the ANN model.Experimental res.lts.s.ow that the maximum error of the pres.nted formula is.2.03%,which makes.the propos.d technique efficiently predict the vertical dis.lacement of buried pipelines.and hence,helps.to optimize the upcoming pipeline projects.

In this.manus.ript, we dis.us. different as.ects.of the Earth: a condition of Young Earth before the Beginning of life on It;Internal s.ructure;“The 660-km Boundary” that we named Geomagma;Random Variations.of Earth’s.Rotational s.eed on a daily bas.s.Origin of Moon;Expanding Earth;Internal Heating;Faint Young s.n paradox;Geocorona and Planetary Coronas.High-Energy Atmos.heric Phys.cs. WUM propos.d principally different ways.to s.lve the problems.of Internal Heating, Origin of the Moon, and Faint Young s.n paradox bas.d on DM core of the Earth. The Model revealed the fact that the s.n Activity caus.s.the Geomagma Activity and, as.a cons.quence, Random Variations.of Earth’s.Rotational s.eed by the varying s.n’s.magnetic field.

Dark Galaxies. s.n-Earth-Moon Interaction, Tungus.a Event—Explained by WUM

Great experimental res.lts.and obs.rvations.achieved by As.ronomy in the las. decades.revealed new unexplainable phenomena. As.ronomers.have conclus.ve new evidence that a recently dis.overed “dark galaxy” is. in fact, an object the s.ze of a galaxy, made entirely of dark matter. They found that the s.eed of the Earth’s.rotation varies.randomly each day. 115 years.ago, the Tungus.a Event was.obs.rved, and as.ronomers.s.ill do not have an explanation of It. Main res.lts.of the pres.nt article are: 1) Dark galaxies.explained by the s.inning of their Dark Matter Cores.with the s.rface s.eed at equator les. than the es.ape velocity. Their Rotational Fis.ion is.not happening. Extras.lar s.s.ems.do not emerge;2) 21-cm Emis.ion explained by the s.lf-annihilation of Dark Matter particles.XIONs.(5.3 μeV);3) s.n-Earth-Moon Interaction explained by the influence of the s.n’s.and the Moon’s.magnetic field on the electrical currents.of the charged Geomagma (the 660-km layer), and, as.a res.lt, the Earth’s.daylength varies.4) Tungus.a Event explained by a huge atmos.heric explos.on of the s.perbolide, which was.a s.able Dark Matter Bubble before entering the Earth’s.atmos.here.
