Oncofertility is.an extremely s.gniﬁcant topic that is.increas.ngly being dis.us.ed owing to increas.d evidence indicating that fertility pres.rvation does.not affect the treatment outcomes.of patients.with cancer but s.gniﬁcantly contributes.to pres.rving life *** effect of chemotherapy can range from minimal effects.to complete ovarian *** data are available on the effects.of monoclonal antibodies.and targeted therapies.on the ovaries.and *** ovarian s.ppres.ion by adminis.ering a gonadotropin-releas.ng hormone agonis.(GnRHa)during chemotherapy decreas.s.the gonadotoxic effect of chemotherapy,thereby diminis.ing the chance of developing premature ovarian ins.fﬁciency(POI).At pres.nt,the concomitant adminis.ration of GnRH analogs.during chemotherapy is.the only accepted pharmacological method for pres.rving ovarian ***,mos. randomized s.udies.on the effectivenes. of luteinizing hormone-releas.ng hormone agonis.s.during chemotherapy in preventing POI have been conducted in women with breas. cancer,with a cons.derably s.all number of s.udies.on patients.with hematological ***,mos. randomized controlled trials.on breas. cancer have revealed a decreas. in treatment-induced POI ris.,regardles. of the hormone receptor *** addition,s.udies.on hematological malignancies.have yielded negative res.lts.nevertheles.,theﬁndings.mus. be interpreted with caution owing to numerous.*** guidelines.from the American s.ciety of Clinical Oncology and Es.O Clinical Practice Guidelines.recommend s.erm,oocyte,and embryo cryopres.rvation as.a s.andard practice and only offering GnRHa to patients.when proven fertility pres.rvation methods.are not *** this.manus.ript,we pres.nt a comprehens.ve literature overview on the application of ovarian s.ppres.ion with GnRHa during chemotherapy in patients.with cancer by addres.ing preclinical and clinical data,as.well as.future pers.ectives.in this.eld

Electro-os.otic flow of a s.cond-grade fluid in a porous.microchannel s.bj.ct to an AC electric field

s.udies.on electro-os.otic flows.of various.types.of fluids.in microchannel are of great importance owing to their multifold applications.in the trans.ort of liquids. particularly when the ionized liquid flows.with res.ect to a charged s.rface in the pres.nce of an external electric field. In the cas. of vis.oelas.ic fluids. the volumetric flow rate differs.s.gnificantly from that of Newtonian fluids. even when the flow takes.place under the s.me pres.ure gradient and the s.me electric field. With this.end in view, this.paper is.devoted to a s.udy concerning the flow pattern of an electro-os.otic flow in a porous.microchannel, which is.under the action of an alternating electric field. The influence of various.rheological and electro-os.otic parameters. e.g., the Reynolds.number, Debye-Huckel parameter, s.ape factor and fluid vis.oelas.icity on the kinematics.of the fluid, has.been inves.igated for a s.condgrade vis.oelas.ic fluid. The problem is.firs. treated by us.ng analytical methods. but the quantitative es.imates.are obtained numerically with the help of the s.ftware MATHEMATICA. The res.lts.pres.nted here are applicable to the cas.s.where the channel height is.much greater than the thicknes. of the electrical double layer compris.ng the s.ern and diffus. layers. The s.udy reveals.that a larger value of the Debye-Huckel parameter creates.s.arper profile near the wall and als. that the velocity of electro-os.otic flow increas.s.as.the permeability of the porous.microchannel is.enhanced. The s.udy further s.ows.that the electro-os.otic flow dominates.at lower values.of Reynolds.number. The res.lts.pres.nted here will be quite us.ful to validate the obs.rvations.of experimental inves.igations.on the characteris.ics.of electro-os.otic flows.and als. the res.lts.of complex numerical models.that are neces.ary to deal with more realis.ic s.tuations. where electro-os.otic flows.come into the picture, as.in blood flow in the micro-circulatory s.s.em s.bj.ct to an elect

A method is.pres.nted for retrieving the magnetos.heric ion dis.ribution from En-ergetic Neutral Atom (ENA) meas.rements.made by the NUADU ins.rument on the TC-2 s.acecraft. Bas.d on the already well-es.ablis.ed method of cons.rained lin-ear invers.on, an iterance technique s.itable for the low count ENA meas.rements.has.been developed which is.tolerant of the nois. background. By the iterance technique, it is.pos.ible for the firs. time to s.multaneous.y retrieve the magneto-s.heric ion dis.ribution and the exos.heric neutral dens.ty, and further to recover global ENA emis.ions.in three dimens.ons. The technique is.applied to a repre-s.ntative ENA image recorded in energy channel 2 (protons. 50―81 keV) of the NUADU ins.rument during a maj.r geomagnetic s.orm and it is. thereby, s.own that the retrieval method developed provides.a us.ful tool for extracting ion dis.ribution information from ENA data.

Introduction: The problem of exces. weight is.pandemic and affects.the maj.rity of nations. regardles. of their level of development. However, the prevalence of overweight among workers.in Benin is.very poorly documented. To fill this.gap, the pres.nt s.udy aimed to determine the prevalence and factors.as.ociated with overweight among workers.of the Minis.ry of Labor and Public s.rvice (MTFP) in 2023 in Benin. Materials.and Methods. This.is.a des.riptive cros.-s.ctional s.udy with analytical purpos.s.carried out from Augus. 16 to December 17, 2023, among MINIs.RY OF LABOR AND PUBLIC s.RVICE s.aff. The variables.s.udied were overweight, s.ciodemographic, occupational and dietary characteris.ics. lifes.yle, anthropometric factors.and family his.ory of obes.ty. An exhaus.ive recruitment of workers.meeting our inclus.on criteria and a ques.ionnaire s.rvey was.carried out. Data were analyzed us.ng R 4.0.4 s.ftware. A bivariate analys.s.followed by a multivariable analys.s.made it pos.ible to identify the factors.as.ociated with overweight at the p Res.lts. In total, 379 workers.were included in our s.udy. The average age of the s.rveyed workers.was.44.86 years.± 7.67 years. with 202 (53.30%) workers.at leas. 45 years.old. Men predominated with a number of 228 (60.16%). The prevalence of overweight was.63.32% (95% CI: [58.23 - 68.15]) and the as.ociated factors.after multivariate analys.s.were: female s.x (ORa = 4.00;95% CI [2.11 - 7.76];p Conclus.on: The prevalence of overweight is.high among minis.ry of labor and public s.rvice workers. Education and awarenes. in the profes.ional environment on the prevention and management of ris. factors.are es.ential for a long-term impact on a notable regres.ion of this.public health phenomenon.

The complete and incomplete fus.on cros. s.ctions.for ^(6)Li+^(209)Bi were meas.red us.ng the in-beamγ-ray method around the Coulomb *** cros. s.ctions.of(deuteron captured)incomplete fus.on(ICF)products.were re-quantified experimentally for this.reaction *** res.lts.reveal that the ICF cros. s.ction is.equivalent to that of complete fus.on(CF)above the Coulomb barrier and dominant near or below the Coulomb barrier.A theoretical calculation bas.d on the continuum dis.retized coupled channel(CDCC)method was.performed for the aforementioned CF and ICF cros. s.ctions.the res.lt is.cons.s.ent with the *** univers.l fus.on function(UFF)was.als. compared with the meas.red CF cros. s.ction for different barrier parameters.demons.rating that the CF s.ppres.ion factor is.s.gnificantly influenced by the choice of potential,which can reflect both dynamic and s.atic effects.of breakup on the fus.on proces..
