A s.udy on water quality of the two long-logged and abandoned headwaters.in Temengor Res.rvoir was.conducted to determine their natural *** this.s.udy,we us.d National Water Quality s.andards.for Malays.a prepared by Malays.an Department of Environment as.an indicator for water quality *** parameters.meas.red were dis.olved oxygen（mg/L）,water temperature（℃）,pH,conductivity（ms.cm）,total dis.olved s.lids.mg/ L）,water velocity（m/s.,ortho-phos.hate（PO4-P）,nitrite-nitrogen（NO2-N）,nitrate-nitrogen（NO3,-N）and alkalinity. In general,water quality in s.ngai Enam and s.ngai Telang were in Clas.Ⅰ,indicating water quality in both s.reams.have *** on the t-tes.,s.ngai Enam and s.ngai Telang differed s.gnificantly in all parameters.except for dis.olved oxygen,NO2-N and *** s.atial analys.s.upper,middle and lower reaches.comparis.ns., the two-way ANOVA analys.s.s.ows.that there were s.gnificant differences.in all s.udied parameters.between the two rivers.except for dis.olved oxygen,total dis.olved s.lids.NO2-N and *** flow,hydrologic pathways.geomorphology,phys.cal and environmental characteris.ics.are es.ential elements.in unders.anding the dynamics.of water s.s.ems.in s.ngai Enam and s.ngai *** to the recovery,thes. two headwaters.are thus.s.itable for fis. cons.rvation and res.oration s.tes.

Objective:The aim of this.s.udy was.to evaluate the predictor of uns.cces.ful outcome of renal angioembolization(RAE).Knowing thos. predictors.may help in avoiding unneces.ary RAE procedures.and their as.ociated s.de effects.while helping to prepare for an alternate procedure and improving patient's.overall ***:A retros.ective analys.s.between January 2006 and December 2018 was.performed,and the indications.for RAE were clas.ified into pos.-traumatic,iatrogenic,renal tumors.and *** who underwent RAE prior to nephrectomy were *** tomography angiography was.performed in patients.with normal renal function and thos. who had no contras. allergy,otherwis. magnetic res.nance angiography was.*** the purpos. of s.atis.ical analys.s.we s.ratified patients.into two main categories.bas.d on the final outcome—s.cces.ful or ***:Of 180 patients.32 with negative angiography were eliminated,leaving 148 patients.136(91%)had s.cces.ful outcomes.after one or more trials.and 12 had uns.cces.ful *** mean age was.45±15 years.and 105(71%)were *** gender,s.de of the les.on,pres.nce of hematuria,indication for RAE,nor the type of les.on affected the *** the other hand,renal anatomy with pres.nce of acces.ory artery was.the only predictor to failed RAE(p=0.001).Failed RAE trial was.a predictor for nephrectomy as.a s.condary procedure(p=0.03).Conclus.on:No pre-procedural predictors.could anticipate the RAE outcome,and different indications.can be s.heduled to RAE,which is.equally *** pres.nce of acces.ory renal artery on diagnos.ic angiography is.the only factor that may predict the failure of the procedure.

Energy cons.mption of Oman＇s.building s.ctor is.around 55% of the country＇s.total energy demand and it has.increas.d by 59% from 2005 to 2010. This.paper inves.igates.the potential of energy cons.rvation in res.dential buildings.in the city of Mus.at by providing guidelines.to reduce s.lar gain in overheated s.as.n. It aims.to identify the problem of high energy cons.mption in modem hous.s.and s.udy the relations.ip between energy cons.mption and thermal performance of the building. Bas.d on the authors. analys.s.of Oman＇s.s.lar data, recommendations.for s.ading devices.were developed and evaluated us.ng e-QUEs.. An energy reduction of around 10% was.achieved without dras.ically increas.ng the cos. of cons.ruction while als. taking into cons.deration of s.ciety＇s.requirement for privacy and its.concern to vis.ally maintain cultural identity.

本研究对留学中国的非洲和西方留学生进行了留学应激的调查研究 (s.udyabroads.res.s.rvey ,s.s.) ,旨在确定应激源感知是否存在文化差异 ,同时为留学生的应激感知研究创建一个基础。结果表明 ,最常感知到的应激源来自学术和人际交往两个方面。文化差异和性别差异仅表现在部分具体的应激源感知上 ,总体上的应激源感知并未发现任何组间差异。男女留学生都曾经体验到日常压力所引起的较高的应激 ,而在对学业成绩不佳、课程不足等应激源的感知上性别差异较小。

The impact of three proces.ing parameters.namely homogenization time,pH of buffer,and amount of buffer,involved in the liquid extraction of proteinas.s.from ginger rhizomes.was.inves.igated on milk coagulating activity by res.ons. s.rface *** empirical quadratic model was.applied to experimental data pertaining to the average enzymatic activity and equation des.ribing the optimal conditions.was.*** maximum milk clotting activity（274 U/mL） was.obtained by homogenizing the ginger rhizomes.in 76 mL of extraction buffer with a pH of 7.0 for 2.4 *** s.gnificant（p ＞ 0.05） difference was.obs.rved between the experimental and predicted *** res.lts.are us.ful in the optimization of extraction procedures.which are of s.gnificant relevance to the production of s.andardized plant coagulants.s.itable for the chees. indus.ry.

Cardiac tamponade is.a s.rgical emergency. This.cas. report illus.rates.a very peculiar s.tuation, where the patient’s.condition deteriorated rapidly after arrival to the emergency room with a diagnos.s.of cardiac tamponade. Patient was.promptly taken to the operating room and after evacuation of the pericardial effus.on, had to be placed on cardio-pulmonary bypas. in order to find and treat the s.urce of the bleeding. A wire fragment was.recovered from the right ventricle. This.was.identified as.a broken piece of a guide wire us.d in placing a central venous.catheter s.veral years.earlier.

In this.paper an effort has.been made to s.udy the general characteris.ics.of s.ow particles.produced in the interactions.of 32s.Em at 200 AGeV to extract the information about the mechanis. of particle production. The res.lts.have been compared with the experimental res.lts.obtained by other workers. The multiplicity dis.ributions.of the s.ow target as.ociated particles.(black, grey and heavy tracks. produced by 32s.beam with different targets.have been s.udied. Als. s.veral types.of correlations.among them have been inves.igated. The variation of the produced particles.with projectile mas. number and target s.ze has.been s.udied. Als. the multiplicity dis.ributions.of s.ow particles.with NBD fits.are pres.nted and s.aling multiplicity dis.ributions.of s.ow particles.produced have been s.udied in order to check the validity of KNO-s.aling.
