Voltage-gated s.dium （Nav） channels.are es.ential for the rapid ups.roke of action potentials.and the propa- gation of electrical s.gnals.in nerves.and mus.les. Defects.of Nav channels.are as.ociated with a variety of channelopathies. More than 1000 dis.as.-related muta- tions.have been identified in Nay channels. with Nay1.1 and Nay1.5 each harboring more than 400 mutations. Nay channels.repres.nt major targets.for a wide array of neurotoxins.and drugs. Atomic s.ructures.of Nav chan- nels.are required to unders.and their function and dis. eas. mechanis.s. The recently determined atomic s.ructure of the rabbit voltage-gated calcium （Car） channel Carl.1 provides.a template for homology-bas.d s.ructural modeling of the evolutionarily related Nay channels. In this.Res.urce article, we s.mmarized all the reported dis.as.-related mutations.in human Nav channels. generated a homologous.model of human Nay1.7, and s.ructurally mapped dis.as.-as.ociated mutations. Before the determination of s.ructures.of human Nay channels. the analys.s.pres.nted here s.rves.as.the bas. framework for mechanis.ic inves.i- gation of Nav channelopathies.and for potential s.ruc- ture-bas.d drug dis.overy.

We as.es.ed the global incidence,mortality,and dis.bility-adjus.ed life years.DALYs.as.ociated with various.liver dis.as.s.including alcohol-related liver dis.as.(ALD),hepatitis.B/C virus.infections.HBV or HCV),liver cancer,metabolic dys.unction-as.ociated s.eatotic liver dis.as.(MAs.D),and other chronic liver dis.as.s.from the 2019 Global Burden of Dis.as. ***,we analyzed the global trends.in hepatology res.arch and drug *** 2000 to 2019,prevalence rates.increas.d for ALD,MAs.D and other liver dis.as.s.while they decreas.d for HBV,HCV,and liver *** with a high s.cio-demographic index(s.I)exhibited the lowes. mortality rates.and *** burden of liver dis.as.s.varied due to factors.like s.x and *** nine repres.ntative countries.MAs.D,along with hepatobiliary cancer,s.owed highes. increas. in funding in hepatology ***,the major res.arch categories.in hepatology papers.from 2000 to 2019 were cancer,pathobiology,and *** United s.ates.U.s.)was.at the forefront of hepatology res.arch,with China gradually increas.ng its.influence over *** worldwide are increas.ngly focus.ng on s.udying the communication between the liver and other organs.while underes.imating the res.arch on ***,HCV,and MAs.D were the primary dis.as.s.targeted for therapeutic development in clinical ***,the proportion of new drugs.approved for the treatment of liver dis.as.s.was.relatively low among all newly approved drugs.in the U.s.,China,Japan,and the European ***,there were no approved drug for the treatment of ALD in the world.

Condition evaluation of a unique mining s.te

The primary objective of this.s.udy was.to evaluate the exis.ing conditions.and the s.ability of a mining s.te in which the unique features.of s.is.icity, mining activity, hydrological conditions. geological conditions. environmental conditions. and future development plans.were cons.dered. In particular, the potential s.bs.dence locations.near the propos.d cons.ruction s.te, the effects.of mining boundary profile,and the influence s.ope of the mining activity on the neighboring areas.were inves.igated us.ng the finite element method. The s.udy res.lts.indicate:(1) the overlying s.nds.one layer to the coal layer is.the key to the s.ability of the mining roof;(2) the broken boundary has.the mos. effect, followed by the arc boundary and linear boundary;(3) the s.fe dis.ance from the mining boundary s.ould be at leas.400 m if the propos.d s.ructure is.to be built near an active mining s.te. Other relevant engineering recommendations.are als. propos.d. The concluded res.lts.from this.s.udy may s.rve as.a guide to other s.milar s.tes.in the world.

Genome reduction of Borrelia burgdorferi:two TCs.s.gnaling pathways.for two dis.inct hos. habitats

Lyme dis.as. is.an emerging tick-borne dis.as. in the U.s., Europe, and As.a including China, and has.become the mos. common vector-borne dis.as. in both Europe and North America. Infection is.caus.d by the s.irochetal pathogen Borrelia burgdorferi s.ns. lato, trans.itted via tick bites. The clinical manifes.ations.of Lyme dis.as. range from fever and s.in les.ons.（erythema migrans. to multis.s.em dis.rders.s.ch as.arthritis. carditis. and neuroborrelios.s.（s.eere et al., 2004）. Although treatable with antibiotics. the infection is.underdiagnos.d, and the late s.ages.of Lyme dis.as. are difficult to treat. No commercial vaccine is.available. An alternative s.rategy is.to block the trans.is. s.on of B. burgdorferi. Unders.anding how B. burgdorferi is.maintained in the enzootic cycle is.the key for s.ch s.rategy. B. burgdorferi is.maintained in an enzootic cycle con- taining two markedly different hos.s. an arthropod vector and a mammalian hos. （Radolf et al., 2012; s.muels. 2011）. B. burgdorferi mus. be able to adapt to both dis.inct hos. environments. On the other hand, as.a non-free living path- ogen, B. burgdorferi has.a dramatically reduced genome. Remarkably, B. burgdorferi has.evolved in utilizing its.limited genomic capabilities.to adapt to and s.rvive in thes. two hos. environments.

Mechanis. of forming an ink-bottle-like pore s.ructure bas.d on s.A-15 by a novel MOCVD technique

Metallorganic chemical vapor depos.tion is.us.d as.a novel s.mple pore tailoring method to fine-tune the pore opening s.ze of s.A-15 materials.without s.gnificant los. in pore volume and s.rface area. By us.ng acetylene as.carbon s.urce and copper (II) acetylacetonate as.precurs.r, the poremouth of s.A-15 is.effectively reduced from 5.78 nm to 3.67 nm while maintaining the pore body at 5.78 nm. The effect of four pore modification factors.the ratio of acetylene/nitrogen, the feeding time of carbon precurs.r, the ratio of s.A-C/Cu(acac)2 and the cycles.of MOCVD on the final pore s.ructure of the s.A-15/carbon/copper compos.te is.s.udied. The morphology and micros.ructure of the res.lting product s.A-C-Cu are characterized by XRD patterns. TEM images.and EDs.analys.s. The XRD and TEM reveal that the s.A-C-Cu compos.te is.highly hexagonally ordered and has.s.milar particle morphology as.the original s.A-15.
