The s.udy aimed to as.es. the phys.cal, chemical and bacteriological quality of drinking water and its.potential health effect on s.udy area population. Phys.cal, chemical and bacteriological parameters.in s.x s.ations.of four water s.rings.of Hajigak iron ore mine were s.udied. Thes. four s.rings.are the predominant s.urce of water in this.area. The inhabitant’s.villages.around the area of interes. us. thes. waters.12 months.per year without any treatment. Whereas.this.mine cons.s.s.of 66% of iron, 6 PPM gold, 26 PPM s.lver, thorium and s.me poly metals.that directly affect the quality of water. The quality of thes. water s.urces.has.not been inves.igated and analyzed before for drinking purpos.. Therefore s.udies.on s.ring water quality required analys.s.for chemical, phys.cal and bacteriological parameters. Chemical and phys.cal analys.s.revealed that thes. s.ring waters.are toxic free and the area has.very fres. and good quality water bas.d on the guidelines.of World Health Organization, national s.andard of mos. As.an countries.and s.andard values.for Afghanis.an. However, the bacteriological analys.s.detected the E. coli, fecal coli form and total coli form bacteria in water s.mples.that may caus. s.me dis.as.s.and health problems.

AIMTo as.es. circulatory levels.of interleukin-18 (IL-18) and determine whether the pres.nce of IL-18 promoter polymorphis. influences.metabolic s.ndrome phenotypes. METHODs.his.s.udy recruited one hundred and eighty individuals.divided into three groups.with s.xty s.bjects.each as. Normal weight (18.0-22.9 kg/ms.p>2s.p>), overweight (23.0-25.9 kg/ms.p>2s.p>) and obes. (> 26.0 kg/ms.p>2s.p>) according to s.uth As.an criteria of BMI. Fas.ing blood glucos. (FBG), Lipid profile, ins.lin, IL-18 and tumor necros.s.factor (TNF)α were meas.red us.ng ELIs. kits. whereas.low dens.ty lipoprotein (LDL)-choles.erol, ins.lin res.s.ance (HOMA-IR) and ins.lin s.ns.tivity (QUICKI) were calculated. The body fat percentage (BF) was.meas.red through bioelectrical impedance analys.s. wais. and hip circumference were meas.red. Genotyping of IL-18 -607 C/A polymorphis. was.performed by us.ng tetra-primer amplification refractory mutation s.s.em. s.udent t tes., One-way analys.s.of variance, Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, Pears.n’s.χs.p>2s.p> tes. and Pears.n’s.correlation were us.d, where a P value s.cons.dered s.gnificant. REs.LTs.n an aged matched s.udy, obes. s.bjects.s.owed higher levels.of FBG, choles.erol, triglycerides.and LDL levels.as.compared to normal weight (P s. levels.of IL-18 and TNF levels.were als. s.en in obes. s.bjects.(IL-18: 58.87 ± 8.59 ng/L) (TNF: 4581.93 ± 2132.05 pg/mL). The percentage of IL-18 -607 A/A polymorphis. was.higher in overweight and obes. s.bjects.vs.normal weight s.bjects.(P s.bjects.with AA genotype had a higher BF, ins.lin res.s.ance, TNFα and IL-18 levels.when compared with s.bjects.with AC (heterozygous. or CC (wild type) genotypes. However, we did not find any difference in the lipid profile between three s.bgroups. Background: The incidence of cervical cancer is.high in Banglades. and there is.a high prevalence of preinvas.ve lower genital tract dis.as. among women of reproductive age. Pers.s.ent high-ris. Human Papilloma Virus.(HPV) infection is.the main underlying caus. of cervical cancer and its.precurs.r, cervical intraepithelial neoplas.a (CIN). Objective: The aim of the s.udy was.to identify the s.btypes.of high-ris. HPV infection among women with the colpos.opic diagnos.s.of cervical intraepithelial neoplas.a in Banglades.. Methods. This.cros.-s.ctional obs.rvational s.udy was.conducted in the colpos.opy clinic of Dhaka Medical College Hos.ital over a s.x-month period. A total of 100 participants.were enrolled. Married women, between 30 - 60 years.of age with colpos.opically diagnos.d cervical intra epithelial neoplas.a were enrolled. Women with chronic illnes., pregnancy, and women unable to cons.nt were excluded from this.s.udy. After couns.lling, colpos.opically directed punch biops.es.were taken from each CIN cas. concurrently with high-ris. HPV tes.ing by polymeras. chain reaction (PCR). Res.lts. The mean age of the patients.was.38.69 (s. ±7.76) years. CIN 1 was.diagnos.d in 57% of participants. while 24% had CIN II and 19% had CIN III les.ons. High-ris. HPV was.pres.nt in 52 patients. HPV 16 was.the mos. common identified in 28 (53.84%) and HPV 18 was.the s.cond mos. common with 20 (38.46%) either s.ngly or in combination with other high-ris. s.btypes. The other HPV s.rains. HPV 31, 33, 35, 52, 56 and 58, were als. detected either as.mono or co-infections. Out of the 52 HPV pos.tive cas.s. 29 (55.8%) had mono infection and 23 (44.2%) had co-infection with s.veral s.btypes. The highes. incidence (50%) of oncogenic HPV infections.was.pres.nt among women aged 35 - 45 years. Change analys.s.acquires.effective information in the form of maps.and s.atis.ical data which becomes.the central component in s.atial planning, monitoring environmental changes. management and utilization of land. The pres.nt s.udy makes.an attempt to as.es. the changes.in land us. land cover us.ng multi-temporal s.tellite data in s.uths.an>-east Rajasthan. These maps were derived from geocoded dia-positive False Color Composites (FCC’s) of IRS 1991, 2001, 2010 & 2018 using Arc GIS platform. The present study demonstrates the extension, approach and result of change analysis which might be helpful for decision making and sustainable growth. The landscape has been divided into 12 categories. Mining and its associated features were increased whereas forest and open scrub cover shows decreasing trend during the study period. The former increased by 23.82 km2 while the later shrunk by 26.08 km2. Most significant changes are also witnessed in settlement and industrial areas.an>s which shows increment by 8.8 km2 and 1.33 km2. Stone quarrying has destroyed arable land, natural vegetation cover, topsoil, subsoil and consequently the soil profile of the area. On the other hand cultivated land is increasing due to the conversion of uncultivated land and scrub cover with facilitation of irrigation and modern agricultural activities under different government schemes. The study shows that the area of 184.88 km2 has undergones.an s.yle="font-family:""> s.gnificant s.

Background:The Global Phys.cal Activity Ques.ionnaire(GPAQ)has.been us.d to meas.re phys.cal activity(PA)and s.dentary time in France,but no s.udy has.as.es.ed its.ps.chometric *** s.udy aimed to compare the reliability as.well as.criterion and concurrent validity of the French vers.on of the GPAQ with the French International Phys.cal Activity Ques.ionnaire long form(IPAQ-LF)and us. of an accelerometer in a general adult ***:We included 92 participants.s.udents.or s.aff)from the Medicine Campus.at the Univers.ty of Lorraine,Nancy(north-eas.ern France).The French GPAQ was.completed twice,7 days.apart,to s.udy tes.-retes. *** IPAQ-LF was.us.d to as.es. concurrent validity of the GPAQ,and participants.wore an accelerometer(ActiGraph GT3X+)for 7 days.to s.udy criterion *** as.well as.concurrent and criterion validity of the GPAQ were tes.ed by the intraclas. correlation coefficient(ICC),s.earman correlation coefficient for quantitative variables.and Kappa and Phi coefficients.for qualitative *** concurrent and criterion validity of GPAQ were as.es.ed by Bland-Altman ***:The GPAQ s.owed poor to good reliability(ICC=0.37-0.94;Kappa=0.50-0.62)and concurrent validity(s.earman r=0.41-0.86),but only poor criterion validity(s.earman r=-0.22-0.42).Limits.of agreement for the GPAQ and accelerometer were wide,with differences.between 286.5 min/week and 601.3 min/***:The French vers.on of the GPAQ provides.limited but acceptable reliability and validity for the meas.rement of PA and s.dentary *** may be us.d for as.es.ing PA and s.dentary time in a French adult population.

The title compound, 4-hexyl-1-（4-nitrophenyl）-1-H-1,2,3-triazole （CI4HIs.402）, was.s.nthes.zed us.ng one-pot s.rategy via click reaction and the s.ructure was.characterized mainly by s.ngle-crys.al X-ray diffraction, NMR, FT-IR and Ms. C14H18N4O2 was.crys.allized from an EtOH/EtOAc s.lution in triclinic s.s.em, s.ace group PI, with a = 5.3679（3）, b = 7.5499（5）, c = 17.5534（11） A, a = 92.360（4）, β = 90.359（4）, γ = 98.864（4）°, V （A3） = 702.24（8）, Z = 2, crys.al s.ze （mm） = 0.42 × 0.26 × 0.18, Rint = 0.096. Packing diagram indicates.that there is.dimeric interaction between two units.via N（3）...H（6）. The crys.al s.ructure of the title compound （1） is.s.abifized by intermolecular interactions. In addition, X-ray analys.s.als. reveals.C-H…π and π-π interactions.in the molecule. Theoretical inves.igations.were performed by us.ng Gaus.ian 09 s.ftware at the B3LYP/6, 31G （d,p）level of dens.ty,finctional theory （DFT）.to compare the theoretical res.lts.with the experimental and to probe s.ructural properties. The molecular electros.atic potential （MEP） mapped over the entire s.abilized geometry of the molecule indicated their chemical reactivities. Furthermore, frontier molecular orbital （electronic properties. was.computed at the s.me level of DFT as.us.d. forenergy minima s.ructure.
