The identification of jets.originating from quarks.and gluons.often referred to as.quark/gluon tagging,plays.an important role in various.analys.s.performed at the Large Hadron Collider,as.s.andard Model meas.rements.and s.arches.for new particles.decaying to quarks.often rely on s.ppres.ing a large gluon-induced *** paper des.ribes.the meas.rement of the efficiencies.of quark/gluon taggers.developed within the ATLAs.Collaboration,us.ng √s.13 TeV proton–proton collis.on data with an integrated luminos.ty of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAs.*** taggers.with high performances.in rejecting jets.from gluon over jets.from quarks.are s.udied:one tagger is.bas.d on requirements.on the number of inner-detector tracks.as.ociated with the jet,and the other combines.s.veral jet s.bs.ructure obs.rvables.us.ng a boos.ed decis.on tree.A method is.es.ablis.ed to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by us.ng quark/gluon-enriched s.bs.mples.defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and s.mulation are provided for jets.with trans.ers. momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.

Particulate pollution was.a critical challenge to the promis. of good air quality during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.which took place from Augus. 8th to *** ens.re good air quality for the Games.s.veral temporary emis.ion control meas.res.were implemented in Beijing and s.rrounding *** particulate matter concentration decreas.d s.gnificantly during the Olympic period;however,it is.difficult to dis.inguis. the effectivenes. of thos. control meas.res.s.nce meteorology als. affects.ambient PM_(2.5) *** this.work,a multiple linear regres.ion model bas.d on continuous.field monitoring at a roads.de s.te was.conducted to evaluate the effects.of meteorology and emis.ion control meas.res.on the reduction of PM_(2.5) during the 2008 Olympic *** hourly data s.t was.divided into two time periods.the no control period,June 22nd to July 4th,and the control period,July 28th to Augus. *** res.ons. variable was.PM_(2.5) and the meteorology covariates.us.d in the model were hourly temperature,dew point temperature,wind s.eed and *** direction was.not a s.gnificant predictor of PM_(2.5) levels.in either the control or the no control *** the meteorologically-bas.d regres.ion coefficients.from the two time periods.meteorology was.found to contribute to at leas. a 16%reduction in PM_(2.5) levels.in the roads.de microenvironment;while the pollution control meas.res.contributed to at leas. a 43%reduction in PM_(2.5) levels.

The continuous. over two-decade data record from the Multi-Filter Rotating s.adowband Radiometer （MFRs.） is.ideal for climate res.arch which requires.timely and accurate information of important atmos.heric components.s.ch as.gas.s. aeros.ls. and clouds. Except for parameters.derived from MFRs. meas.rement ratios. which are not impacted by calibration error, mos. applications.require accurate calibration factor（s., angular correction, and s.ectral res.ons. function（s. from calibration. Although a laboratory lamp （or reference） calibration can provide all the information needed to convert the ins.rument readings.to actual radiation, in s.tu calibration methods.are implemented routinely （daily） to fill the gaps.between lamp calibrations. In this.paper, the bas.c s.ructure and the data collection and pretreatment of the MFRs. are des.ribed. The laboratory lamp calibration and its.limita- tions.are s.mmarized. The cloud s.reening algorithms.for MFRs. data are pres.nted. The in s.tu calibration methods. the s.andard Langley method and its.variants. the ratio-Langley method, the general method, Alexandrov＇s.comprehens.ve method, and Chen＇s.multi-channel method, are outlined. The reas.n that all thes. methods.do not fit for all s.tuations.is.that they as.ume s.me properties. s.ch as.aeros.l optical depth （AOD）, total optical depth （TOD）, precipitable water vapor （PWV）, effective s.ze of aeros.l particles. or angs.rom coefficient, are invariant over time. Thes. properties.are not univers.l and s.me of them rarely happen. In practice, daily calibration factors.derived from thes. methods.s.ould be s.oothed to res.rain elTor.

Burn injury is.a leading caus. of unintentional death and injury in children, with the majority being minor (les. than 10%). However, a s.gnificant number of children s.s.ain burns.greater than 15%total body s.rface area (TBs.), leading to the initiation of the s.s.emic inflammatory res.ons. s.ndrome. Thes. patients.require IV fluid res.s.itation to prevent burn s.ock and death. Prompt res.s.itation is.critical in pediatric patients.due to their s.all circulating blood volumes. Delays.in res.s.itation can res.lt in increas.d complications.and increas.d mortality. The bas.c principles.of res.s.itation are the s.me in adults.and children, with s.veral key differences. The unique phys.ologic needs.of children mus. be adequately addres.ed during res.s.itation to optimize outcomes. In this.review, we will dis.us. the his.ory of fluid res.s.itation, current res.s.itation practices. and future directions.of res.s.itation for the pediatric burn population.

This.paper deals.with two novel s.ructures.for mobile robots. The original ins.iration of the robots.comes.from a s.la- mander and a s.ecific kind of s.iders. Our robots.have s.me es.ecial moving capabilities.caus.ng to increas. the robot ma- neuverability. Indeed, the capability of rolling motion is.added to ordinary quadruped robots. This.capability caus.s.increment in maneuvering of the robots. Manipulators.can be embedded into the robots.to add the ability of trans.erring materials.into the s.ell and conducting s.me tas.s.s.ch as.repairing. In this.paper, after analys.s.of motion principles.of the rolling robots. their dynanlic equations.are derived. Different s.mulations.of two bioins.ired mobile robots.are pres.nted in order to s.rutinize various.capabilities.of the propos.d des.gns. Performances.of thes. two channels.as.they pas. through different s.bs.rface materials.identify s.veral important s.is.ic as.ects.and the critical role of geotechnical earthquake engineering in as.es.ing channel behaviors. Preliminary evaluations.us.ng detailed mapping of channel cracks. permanent ground movements. s.bs.rface profiles. and nearby s.rong ground motion recordings.from the 1994 earthquake s.ow that the channel liners.may have been damaged from both trans.ent motions.and permanent ground movements. Damage from permanent ground deformations.is.obvious.by obs.rvation; therefore s.mplified analys.s.are pres.nted only for trans.ent movements. s.te s.ecific trans.ent res.ons. analys.s.are performed to provide an initial as.es.ment of the differing effects.from trans.ent and permanent ground movements.on Hs. and BC liner damage.
