This.paper pres.nts.a new computational method for forward uncertainty quantification(UQ)analys.s.on large-s.ale s.ructural s.s.ems.in the pres.nce of arbitrary and dependent random *** method cons.s.s.of a generalized polynomial chaos.expans.on(GPCE)for s.atis.ical moment and reliability analys.s.as.ociated with the s.ochas.ic output and a s.atic reanalys.s.method to generate the input-output data *** the reanalys.s.we employ s.bs.ructuring for a s.ructure to is.late its.local regions.that vary due to random *** allows.for avoiding repeated computations.of invariant s.bs.ructures.while generating the input-output data *** s.bs.ructuring with s.atic condens.tion further improves.the computational efficiency of the reanalys.s.without los.ng ***,the GPCE with the s.atic reanalys.s.method can achieve s.gnificant computational s.ving,thus.mitigating the curs. of dimens.onality to s.me degree for UQ under high-dimens.onal *** numerical res.lts.obtained from a s.mple s.ructure indicate that the propos.d method for UQ produces.accurate s.lutions.more efficiently than the GPCE us.ng full finite element analys.s.FEAs..We als. demons.rate the efficiency and s.alability of the propos.d method by executing UQ for a large-s.ale wing-box s.ructure under ten-dimens.onal(all-dependent)random inputs.

Anomalous.ion heat trans.ort is.analyzed in the T-10 tokamak plas.a heated with electron cyclotron res.nance heating(ECRH) in s.cond-harmonic extra-ordinary mode. Predictive modeling with empirical s.aling for Ohmical heat conductivity s.ows.that in ECRH plas.as.the calculated ion temperature could be overes.imated, s. an increas. of anomalous.ion heat trans.ort is.required. To s.udy this.effect two s.ans.are pres.nted: over the EC res.nance pos.tion and over the ECRH power. The EC res.nance pos.tion varies.from the high-field s.de to the low-field s.de by variation of the toroidal magnetic field. The s.an over the heating power is.pres.nted with on-axis.and mixed ECRH regimes. dis.harges.with high anomalous.ion heat trans.ort are obtained in all cons.dered regimes. In thes. dis.harges.the power balance ion heat conductivity exceeds.the neoclas.ical level by up to 10 times. The high ion heat trans.ort regimes.are dis.inguis.ed by three parameters. the ratio Te/Ti, the normalized electron dens.ty gradient R/■, and the ion–ion collis.onality νii~*. The combination of high Te/Ti, high νii~*, and R/■=6-10 res.lts.in values.of normalized anomalous.ion heat fluxes.up to 10 times.higher than in the low trans.ort s.enario.

This.work explored pos.ibilities.of biodegradable magnes.um alloy Mg-3Y preparation by two modern powder metallurgy techniques.s.ark plas.a s.ntering(s.s.and s.lective las.r melting(s.M).The powder material was.cons.lidated by both methods.utilis.ng optimis.d parameters.which led to very low poros.ty(∼0.3%)in the s.M material and unmeas.rably low poros.ty in the s.s.*** main aim of the s.udy was.the thorough micros.ructure characteris.tion and interrelation between the micros.ructure and the functional properties.s.ch as.mechanical s.rength,deformability,and corros.on *** materials.s.owed comparable s.rength of∼110 MPa in tens.on and compres.ion and relatively good deformability of∼9%and∼21%for the s.M and s.s.materials.*** corros.on res.s.ance of the s.s.material in 0.1 M NaCl s.lution was.s.perior to the s.M one and comparable to the conventional extruded *** digital image correlation during loading and the cros.-s.ction analys.s.of the corros.on layers.revealed that the res.dual poros.ty and large s.rained grains.have the dominant negative effect on the functional properties.of the s.M *** the other hand,one of the primary outcomes.of this.s.udy is.that the s.s.cons.lidation method is.very effective in the preparation of the W3 biodegradable alloy,res.lting in material with convenient mechanical and degradation properties.that might find practical applications.

While we eagerly anticipate s.ILE’s.s.lar wind Magnetos.here Ionos.here Link Explorer)unprecedented X-ray obs.rvations.of the Earth’s.magnetos.eath and the initiation of a new era of magnetos.heric res.arch,it s.ems.appropriate to look ahead to the abilities.of the next generation of as.rophys.cs.*** thes.,the Line Emis.ion Mapper(LEM),a large aperture micro-calorimeter bas.d mis.ion,is.currently planned to be able to obs.rve the magnetos.eath at high s.ectral res.lution(~2 eV).With a field of view of~30′,LEM will allow higher s.atial res.lution and higher cadence meas.rement of the motion of a very s.all portion of the magnetopaus. over relatively s.ort periods.of time(multiple hours.,complementing s.ILE’s.global ***’s.s.rength is.its.s.ectral *** will be able to meas.re the abundance of a broad range of elements.and ionization s.ates.many of which are inacces.ible to current in s.tu ins.ruments.and will be able to s.parate the emis.ion from the magnetos.eath from the emis.ion from the cos.ic X-ray background us.ng the difference in their relative velocities.

Background: Violence agains. women has.become an international public health and human rights.is.ue in recent decades. The violence s.ffered by s.x workers.is.of little interes. for res.arch, yet it cons.itutes.a major health and s.fety problem. We propos. to as.es. the extent of the phenomenon of gender-bas.d violence (GBV) among s.x workers.(s.s. in the city of Bangui in the CAR. Methodology: This.is.a des.riptive cros.-s.ctional epidemiological s.udy covering the period from July to October 2021 carried out among s.s.in Bangui, the capital of the CAR. Given that the s.s.as.ociation had only 159 members.in Bangui, an exhaus.ive s.mpling was.retained. Were included in the s.udy, any s. pres.nt during the data collection period and having given their written cons.nt. The parameters.s.udied were s.cio-demographic characteris.ics. age, s.x, res.dence, level of education, marital s.atus. and characteris.ics.linked to violence: the notion of violence during their profes.ional activity, the type of violence, the declaration and the declaration if neces.ary, the res.ons. and management of this.violence. The data collected was.analyzed us.ng Epi info vers.on 7 s.ftware. Res.lts. Of the 159 s.s.that counted the as.ociation, 108 had been included. The average age was.27.0 years.with extremes.of 14 and 46 years. The age groups.of 25 to 34 years.were the mos. repres.nted (43.5%). Fifty-s.x s.s.(51.9%) had reached the s.condary level. Unemployed s.s.were in the majority at 74.1%;s.xty-s.x (66) s.s.in our s.mple (61.1%) had already been victims.of violence during the exercis. of their activity s.xual violence was.the mos. repres.nted (28.5%) followed by verbal violence (22.4%). s.xty-eight (62.9%) wanted to s.op the profes.ional activity of s.s.and 93.1% would accept another income-generating activity in place of s.x work. The s.ockholm Convention on Pers.s.ent Organic Pollutants.POPs.is.a legally binding ins.rument for 186 Parties.s.atus.April 2023).Accordingly,among other res.ons.bilities.countries.are obliged to report the production,import,or export of the POPs.lis.ed in Annexes.A,B,or C;provide information to regis.ers.maintain inventories.and monitor the pres.nce of POPs.in the *** the broader context of international chemicals.and was.e management,producer res.ons.bilities.harmonized reporting,and compliance with national and international regulations.Ecuador has.addres.ed the newly lis.ed group of perfluorinated alkyl s.bs.ances.PFAs.in its.national implementation plan and s.nt s.lected products.from its.national market for PFAs.*** products.analyzed came from the initially lis.ed fields.of s.ecific exemptions.and acceptable purpos.s.including:fire-fighting foams.photographic aids.greas.rs.degreas.rs.various.kinds.of paper/packaging;textiles.and leather,coatings.cleaners.metal plating,and *** res.lts.s.owed that the three PFAs.pres.ntly lis.ed in the s.ockholm Convention could be quantified in only a few s.mples.additional PFAs.not yet lis.ed in the Convention als. had low detection *** the number of s.mples.was.limited,the s.mples.covered a large s.ectrum of s.mple matrices.making it pos.ible to conclude that—once thes. products.become was.e and are regulated under the Bas.l Convention—they would not cons.itute a dis.os.l ***,verification of the pres.nce of PFAs.in products.on the market is.expected to pos. an analytical challenge for both,developed and developing countries.

This.review examines.a range of catalys. materials.s.ch as.noble and non-noble metals. metal oxides. carbon-bas.d materials. nitrogen-doped carbon s.ecies. metal complexes. and s.miconductor photocatalys.s. It evaluates.catalytic efficiency, s.lectivity, s.ability, and overall proces. optimization. The performance of catalys.s.is.influenced by various.factors. including reaction conditions. catalys. s.ructure, loading techniques. and electrode interfaces. Comparative analys.s.was.performed to evaluate the catalytic activity, s.lectivity, Faradaic efficiency, current dens.ty, s.ability, and durability of the catalys.s.
