Objectives. To identify ris.s.fa.tors.for VTE a.ong pregna.t mothers. pos.pa.tum mothers.a.cording to RCOG (Roya. College of Obs.etricia.s. ris. ca.egoriza.ion a.d to a.0}es. the requirement of thromboprophyla.is. Method: a.cros. s.ctiona. s.udy wa.0}conducted a. the a.tena.a. clinics.a.d obs.etrics.a.d gyna.cology wards.(ward 2, 5, 8) of De s.ys. Hos.ita. for Women in 2021. Obs.etric thromboprophyla.is.ris. a.0}es.ment tool recommended by the RCOG wa.0}us.d for the ris. a.0}es.ment of pregna.t mothers.during the a.tena.a. a.d pos.pa.tum period. Res.lts. In a.tena.a. period, obes.ty (BMI > 35), a.e more tha. 35 yea.s.a.d pa.ity more tha. 3 were the commones. ris. fa.tors. Out of 404 mothers. 67.33% did not ha.e a.y ris. fa.tors. a.ong others. 18.56%, 0.40%, 2.72%, 0.99% ha. a.s.ore of 1, 2, 3 a.d 4 res.ectively. Pa.ients.with intermedia.e (0.99%) a.d high ris. (2.72%) were commenced on thromboprophyla.is.from 28 weeks. The low-ris. ca.egory wa.0}not s.a.ted on a.y trea.ment (28.96%, n = 97). a.proxima.ely 96% of mothers.did not require a.y thromboprophyla.is.during a.tena.a. period. a.other 404 pos.na.a. mothers.were recruited for the s.udy group. Elective ca.s.rea. s.ction a.d ca.s.rea. s.ction during la.our were the ma.n ris.s.identified other tha. pre-exis.ing a.tena.a. ris.s. 39.95 % of mothers.did not ha.e a.y ris. fa.tors.a.d 37.22% of mothers.ha. a.s.ore of 1. Introduction: s.xua.ity in the pos.pa.tum period is.a.ta.oo s.bject tha. ra.s.s.ma.y ques.ions. es.ecia.ly a.ong women. The a.m of this.s.udy wa.0}to eva.ua.e the influence of fa.tors.s.ch a.0}mode of delivery, pa.ity, type of hous.hold a.d level of educa.ion on the res.mption of s.xua.ity, by compa.ing our res.lts.with thos. in the litera.ure. Methods. This.is.a.pros.ective des.riptive a.d a.a.ytica. s.udy, which took pla.e from 3 a.ril to 2 June 2023 in the ma.ernity ward of the Igna.e Deen Na.iona. Hos.ita. of the Univers.ty Hos.ita. Centre of Cona.ry. The s.mple included ma.ried women who ha. given birth once or s.vera. times. Res.lts. Of 118 ma.ried women who ha. given birth once or s.vera. times.a.d who were ques.ioned a.out their s.xua.ity in the pos.pa.tum period, 75.42% (89 ca.0}s. s.a.ed tha. they ha. res.med s.xua. a.tivity in the pos.pa.tum period. (The ma.ority were a.ed 20 - 29 yea.s.(46.61%), pa.ci pa.es.(51.69%), living in a.monoga.ous.hous.hold (88.14%), with s.conda.y educa.ion (44.92%) a.d s.lf-employed (38.98%). More tha. ha.f (58.47%) of thes. women ha. a.norma. va.ina. delivery with vulvo-perinea. tea. (5.80%), epis.otomy (15.94%) a.d ins.rumenta. extra.tion (8.69%). The ma.n rea.0}ns.for res.ming s.xua. a.tivity were the des.re to s.tis.y their pa.tner (50.56%) a.d to ma.nta.n the ha.mony of the couple (29.21%). Res.mption of s.xua. a.tivity wa.0}more common in pa.ients.who ha. given birth by ca.s.rea. s.ction (p = 0.007) a.d in pa.ients.with a.higher level of educa.ion (p = 0.03). However, it wa.0}not influenced by pa.ity or hous.hold type. Conclus.on: s.xua.ity rema.ns.a.ta.oo s.bject, a.d its.res.rgence in the pos.pa.tum period is.influenced by the mode of delivery a.d the level of educa.ion a.d perception of women. Certa.n pra.tices.a.d complica.ions.rela.ed to childbirth ca. a.s. influence the res.mption of s.xua.ity in the pos.pa.tum period.

Res.lts. a.ong 247,456 OHCa.pa.ients. 11,111 (4.5%) ha. PCI while 236,345 (95.5%) did not.
