The s.udy of ra.ia.ion da.a.e of high- molecula. weight s.bs.a.ces.due to MeV ion intera.tions.is.of interes. for engineering a.d s.ientific a.plica.ions. In the pres.nt s.udy polys.yrene (Ps. wa.0}irra.ia.ed with 107a. ions.of three different cha.ge s.a.es.(q) 11+, 14+ a.d 25+ a.d of 130 MeV energy. The emis.ion of hydrogen from Ps.wa.0}monitored a.0}a.function of the incident ion fluence. The experimenta. res.lts.s.owed tha. the hydrogen depletion per incident ion from Ps.va.ies.a.0}qn, where n wa.0}found to be 2.1 a.0}compa.ed to the va.ue 2.7 to 3.0 reported in the litera.ure. Ra.ii of the na.ometric da.a.ed zones.or ion tra.ks.formed were a.a.yzed from the s.ope of the hydrogen depletion vers.s.ion fluence curves.a.0}a.function of cha.ge s.a.e of incident ion. Thes. ha.e va.ues.between 3.2 - 6.8 nm. Thes. ra.ii were found to depend upon the cha.ge s.a.e of the incident ion a.d va.y a.0}qm, where m ha.0}the va.ue 0.9.

However, few s.udies.cons.der the coupling effects.of thes. fea.ures. This.work employs.geometrica. proba.ility a.d s.ereology to es.a.lis. qua.tita.ive rela.ions.ips.between the a.ove micros.ructura. fea.ures.a.d the geometric tortuos.ty of the two-dimens.ona. gra.ula. media.conta.ning s.perellips., s.perova., a.d polygon gra.ns. Then the la.tice Boltzma.n method (LBM) is.us.d to determine the permea.ilities.of thes. gra.ula. media. By combining the tortuos.ty model a.d the LBM-derived permea.ilities. modified K–C equa.ions.a.e formula.ed to predict the permea.ility a.d the s.a.e fa.tor, cons.dering the gra.n's.s.a.e- a.d s.ze-polydis.ers.ties. orienta.ion, a.d a.ea.fra.tion. The relia.ility of thes. methods.ca. be verified by compa.ing them with both our s.mula.ions.a.d a.a.la.le experimenta., theoretica., a.d numerica. da.a.reported in the litera.ure. The findings.implica.e tha. the tortuos.ty a.d permea.ility of the gra.ula. media.a.e s.rongly correla.ed with the gra.n's.s.a.e, orienta.ion, a.d a.ea.fra.tion but una.fected by the s.ze polydis.ers.ty a.d s.a.ia. a.ra.gement of gra.ns. Only circula.ity is.not enough to derive a.unified formula.for cons.dering the impa.t of gra.n s.a.e on tortuos.ty a.d permea.ility, other s.a.e pa.a.eters.need to be explored in the future.

Univers.ty(Bs.MU),Dha.a.Ba.gla.es..To genotype HLa.B a.leles.from periphera. blood DNa.we des.gned s.quence-s.ecific primers.for polymera.0} cha.n rea.tion.s.nger's.s.quencing method wa.0}us.d to detect the ERa.1 rs.0187 s.P.The HLa.B a.lele dis.ributions.were compa.ed between ca.0}s.a.d controls.To infer a. a.lelic a.0}ocia.ion between HLa.B27 a.d ERa.1,a.lele dis.ributions.from both loci were compa.ed us.ng cros.-ta.ula.ions.Chi-s.ua.ed tes. or Fis.er's.exa.t tes. wa.0}us.d to qua.tify the a.0}ocia.ion,a.d their s.rength of a.0}ocia.ion wa.0}tes.ed by odds.ra.io(OR)with 95%confidence interva.(CI).Res.lts.The frequency of HLa.B27 wa.0}found to be higher in a.0}pa.ients.60.4%)tha. in hea.thy controls.8.3%).HLa.B27 a.lele ha. a. The events.were reloca.ed us.ng s.a.da.d computer codes.for hypocentra. loca.ions. The detecta.ility levels.a.e es.ima.ed from the twenty-five yea.s.of recorded da.a.in terms.of 50%, 90% a.d 100% cumula.ive detecta.ility thres.olds. which were derived from frequency-ma.nitude dis.ribution. From this.a.a.ys.s.the 100% level of detecta.ility of the network is.M L=1.7 for events.which occur within the network. The a.cura.y in hypocentra. s.lutions.of the network is.inves.iga.ed by cons.dering the fixed rea. hypocenter within the network. The epicentra. errors.a.e found to be les. tha. 4 km when the events.occur within the network. Fina.ly, the problems.fa.ed during continuous.opera.ion of the loca. network, which effects.its.detecta.ility, a.e dis.us.ed.
