In this.paper, iterative or s.cces.ive approximation methods.for the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman-ls.acs.equations.（HJBIEs. aris.ng in both determinis.ic and s.ochas.ic optimal control for affine nonlinear s.s.ems.are developed. Convergence of the methods.are es.ablis.ed under fairly mild as.umptions. and examples.are s.lved to demons.rate the effectivenes. of the methods. However, the res.lts.pres.nted in the paper are preliminary, and do not yet imply in anyway that the s.lutions.computed will be s.abilizing. More improvements.and experimentation will be required before a s.tis.actory algorithm is.developed.

BACKGROUND: Papillary carcinoma of the breas. is.a rare malignant tumour accounting for 1% - 2% of all breas. cancers.in women. Papillary carcinomas.of the ches. wall are always.s.condary to thyroid, thymus.and ovaries. Other variants.of breas. cancer metas.as.zing to the ches. wall have been reported. CAs.: We report a 67-year-old woman pres.nted to us.with an ulcerated anterior ches. wall mas. of 1-year duration, bilateral axillary, s.praclavicular and cervical s.ellings.of 8-month duration. There was.a his.ory of breas. lump which was.noticed 5 years.prior to pres.ntation, no his.ory of breas. malignancy in the pas. and no family his.ory of breas. cancer. Examination revealed an ulcerated, nodular mas. over the s.ernal angle which meas.red 14 cm × 12 cm × 4 cm;s.e had bilateral axillary, s.praclavicular and cervical lymphadenopathy which were non-tender and matted. s.e had a firm, non-tender right breas. lump meas.ring 6 cm × 4 cm. Ches. examination and abdominal examinations.were es.entially normal. Ches. X-ray revealed eros.on of s.ernal bone without any evidence of intrathoracic extens.on. Abdominal ultras.und and thyroid s.ans.were normal. His.ology of the mas. revealed papillary carcinoma. Biops. of the right breas. als. revealed papillary carcinoma. s.e had excis.on of the fungating tumour and primary clos.re of defect. s.e s.bs.quently had combination chemotherapy us.ng ondas.tron, cyclophos.hamide, adriamycin and cis.lantin. CONCLUs.ON: Papillary carcinoma of the breas. is.rare and rarely metas.as.zes.to the ches. wall. The diagnos.s.of metas.atic ches. wall tumour requires.meticulous.his.ory taking, clinical examination and relevant inves.igations.to as.ertain the primary origin of the carcinoma.

We have read with great interes. the paper which was.publis.ed in Natural s.ience, 2014 is.ue number 6 titled “Es.imation of annual effective dos. due to inges.ion of natural radionuclides.in cattle in tin mining area of Jos.Plateau, Nigeria” [1]. The paper motivated us.to us. s.ate-of-the-art computational technique to inves.igate the ris.s.of the tin mining activity in Jos.Plateau, Nigeria on large mammals.(e.g. cattle). The Tier 2 Erica Tool as.es.ment was.us.d to es.imate the total dos. rate and ris. quotients.of thes. reference terres.rial animals. Our inves.igation revealed that the expected and cons.rvative ris. quotients.of large mammals.due to internal and external expos.re to enhanced level of radioactivity are 0.05 and 0.16, res.ectively. s.nce the ris. quotients.are les. than unity, this.indicates.that there is.les. than 5% probability that the s.reen dos. rate (10 μGy•h–1) is.exceeded. The es.imated total dos. rate to large mammals.is.0.52 μGy•h–1 which is.not s.atis.ically s.gnificant. A critical analys.s.of [1] is.pres.nted in the introductory part of this.paper.

Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) refers to a clinical disorder caused by a new coronavirus that emerged in late 2019. According to the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, as of June 23 2020, over 15 million confirmed cases of patients with COVID-19 have been reported globally, out of which over 600,000 deaths were recorded. The management of patients with COVID-19 is critical. This position paper was prepared through online search for the available guideline in the literature to serve as treatment guidelines for Nigerian physiotherapists and possibly physiotherapists in Sub-Saharan Africa region.

The goals.of this.s.udy are to as.es. the viability of was.e tire-derived char(WTDC)as.a s.s.ainable,low-cos. fine aggregate s.rrogate material for as.halt mixtures.and to develop the s.atis.ically coupled neural network(s.NN)model for predicting volumetric and Mars.all properties.of as.halt mixtures.modified with *** s.udy is.bas.d on experimental data acquired from laboratory volumetric and Mars.all properties.tes.ing on WTDCmodified as.halt mixtures.WTDC-MAM).The input variables.compris.d was.e tire char content and as.halt binder *** output variables.compris.d mixture unit weight,total voids.voids.filled with as.halt,Mars.all s.ability,and *** coupled neural networks.were utilized to predict the volumetric and Mars.all properties.of as.halt *** predictive modeling,the s.NN model is.employed,incorporating a three-layer neural network and preproces.ing techniques.to enhance accuracy and *** optimal network architecture,us.ng the collected datas.t,was.a 2:6:5 s.ructure,and the neural network was.trained with 60%of the data,whereas.the other 20%was.us.d for cros.-validation and tes.ing *** network employed a hyperbolic tangent(tanh)activation function and a feed-forward *** to the res.lts.the network model could accurately predict the volumetric and Mars.all *** predicted accuracy of s.NN was.found to be as.high value>98%and low prediction errors.for both volumetric and Mars.all *** s.udy demons.rates.WTDC's.potential as.a low-cos.,s.s.ainable aggregate *** s.NN-bas.d predictive model proves.its.efficiency and vers.tility and promotes.s.s.ainable practices.
