Abundant evidences of higher sea levels from Jiangsu and Fujian coasts have proved a marine transgression event during 30–40 ka BP, suggesting that there was a stage with high sea level and a warm climate when ice sheets shrank in the Northern Hemisphere. The duration of 30–40 ka BP spanned a period in the late Marine Isotope stage 3（MIs 3） and was in nature an interstadial epoch during the Last Glacial period of the Quaternary. Different from the glacial period with a cold climate, this marine transgression considered as a penultimate higher sea level during the Quaternary remains a puzzle that why the evidence is contrary to the Quaternary glacial theory. It is important to understand sea level rise for these areas sensitively responding to the global changes in the future. To recognize the key issues on sea level changes, the eustatic sea level（H_s） was defined as the glaciation-climateforced sea levels, and the relative sea level change（H_R） was defined as that a sea level record was preserved in sediment that experienced multiple secondary actions of land and sea effects. On the basis as defined above, we constructed multi-level models of climate-driven glacio-eustatic changes and land-sea systems. By integrating data sets from eight borehole cores and prescribing the boundary conditions, we simulated the changes of Hs and HR in the East China sea and southern Yellow sea areas in the late MIs 3. The marine transgression strata from the borehole core data was identified at ca. 30 m below present sea level as a result of the collective influence of ice melting water, neotectonic subsidence, sediment compaction and terrestrial sediment filling since ca. 35 ka ago,whereas the simulated relative sea-levels turned out to be –26.3––29.9 m a.s.l. The small error involved in the simulation results of ±（2.5–4.5） m demonstrated the credibility of the results. Quantitative trait loci（QTL） for percentage of chalky grain,degree of chalkiness,and endosperm transparency were detected using 3 recombinant inbred line populations derived from crosses between parental lines of commercial three-line hybrids of indica *** of the populations showed great variations on heading date,and the other had a short range of heading date variation.A total of 40 QTLs were detected and fell into 15 regions of 10 chromosomes,of which 5 regions were detected for 1 or more same traits over different populations,2 were detected for different traits in different populations,3 were detected for 2 or all the 3 traits in a single population,and 5 were detected for a single trait in a single *** of these QTLs have been reported previously,but a region located on the long arm of chromosome 10 showing significant effects in all the 3 populations has not been reported *** was shown that a number of gene cloned,including the Wx and Alk for the physiochemical property of rice grain,and GW2,Gs3 and GW5 for grain weight and grain size,could have played important roles for the genetic control of grain chalkiness in rice,but there are many more QTLs exerting stable effects for rice chalkiness over different genetic *** is worth paying more attentions to these regions which harbor QTL such as the qPCG5.2/qDC5.2/qET5.2 and qPCG10/qDC10/qET10 detected in our *** results also showed that the use of segregating populations having high-uniform heading date could greatly increase the efficiency of the identification of QTL responsible for traits that are subjected to great environmental influence.

DEAR EDITOR,During a survey in 2014,several tube-nosed bats(Vespertilionidae:Murininae:Murina)were collected in sichuan *** on morphological characters,these bats did not match any species previously recorded from *** analyses and phylogenetic inference based on mitochondrial and nuclear gene sequences indicated that they represented a new species,named here as Murina jinchui *** the new species is presently known only from Wolong National Nature Reserve,it is unlikely to be a rare species in the area based on our capture frequencies.

Based on legacy soil data from a soil survey conducted recently in the traditional manner in Hong Kong of China, a digital soil mapping method was applied to produce soil order information for mountain areas of Hong Kong. Two modeling methods （decision tree analysis and linear discriminant analysis） were used, and their applications were compared. Much more effort was put on selecting soil covariates for modeling. First, analysis of variance （ANOVA） was used to test the variance of terrain attributes between soil orders. Then, a stepwise procedure was used to select soil covariates for linear discriminant analysis, and a backward removing procedure was developed to select soil covariates for tree modeling. At the same time, ANOVA results, as well as our knowledge and experience on soil mapping, were also taken into account for selecting soil covariates for tree modeling. Two linear discriminant models and four tree models were established finally, and their prediction performances were validated using a multiple jackknifing approach. Results showed that the discriminant model built on ANOVA results performed best, followed by the discriminant model built by stepwise, the tree model built by the backward removing procedure, the tree model built according to knowledge and experience on soil mapping, and the tree model built automatically. The results highlighted the importance of selecting soil covariates in modeling for soil mapping, and suggested the usefulness of methods used in this study for selecting soil covariates. The best discriminant model was finally selected to map soil orders for this area, and validation results showed that thus produced soil order map had a high accuracy.

The construction and hydrogeological area in the low hill, which is northwest of Laixi City and in the east of shandong Province more precisely, is one of Dagu River's groundwater source. Regarding COD as the typical pollutant according to general situation of groundwater pollution in aforementioned area, a three-dimensional advection-dispersion model was established to simulate the transport of organic pollutants under two accident conditions. In addition, the effect of corresponding dispersity was analyzed. The results show that COD transport is mainly in accordance with the direction of groundwater flow, pollutant concentration and its gradient as well as the rule of narrower pollution range in deeper stratum. Moreover, COD is mainly transported and diffused in groundwater of sandy soil in the first and second layers. However, under accident condition II, the pollutant concentration begins to decay gradually after its transport and diffusion tends to be stable. Besides, in terms of dominance, dispersion is to transverse transport of pollutants what advection is to longitudinal transport. If considering random dispersion, the final results see higher peak concentration of COD and longer transverse distance from pollution center compared to transport route. What's more, the pollution plume changes and concentration isocline becomes slightly irregular.

Nucleases play an important role in molecular biology, for example, in DNA sequencing. synthetic polyamide conjugates can be considered as a novel tool for the selective inhibition of gene expressions and also as potential drugs in anticancer or antiviral chemotherapy. In this article, the synthesis of a novel minor-groove targeting artificial nuclease, an oligopyrrol-containing compound, has been reported. It was found that this novel compound can bind DNA in AT-rich minor groove with high affinity and site specificity. DNA binding behavior was determined by using UV-Vis and CD. It is indicated that compound 6 can enhance the Tm, of DNA from 80.4 ℃ to 84. 4 ℃ and that it possesses a high binding constant value（Kb =3.05 × 10^4 L/mol）.

The development of lithium(Li)metal batteries has been severely limited by the formation of lithium dendrites and the associated catastrophic failure and inferior Coulombic efficiency which caused by non-uniform or insufficient Li^(+)supply across the electrode-electrolyte ***,a rational strategy is to construct a robust electrolyte that can allow efficient and uniform Li^(+)transport to ensure sufficient Li^(+)supply and homogenize the Li plating/***,we report an ion-percolating electrolyte membrane that acts as a stable Li^(+)reservoir to ensure a near-single Li^(+)transference number(0.78)and homogenizes Li^(+)migration to eradicate dendrite growth,endowing Li//LFP cell with an ultrahigh average Coulombic efficiency(ca.99.97%)after cycling for nearly half of a year and superior cycling stability when pairing with LiCoO_(2) with limited Li amount and LiNi_(0.8)Mn_(0.1)Co_(0.1)O_(2).These estimable attributes demonstrate significant potential of utility value for the ion-percolating electrolyte.
