The emergence of Accountable Care Organizations(ACOs)in the landscape of the *** system marks a paradigm shift in healthcare *** potential impact of ACOs has been a topic of intense *** analytical approaches do not lend themselves to examining the complex phenomenon of the emergence and growth of ACOs in the healthcare *** adopt a complex adaptive system lens to examine the growth of ACOs among physician groups and explore factors that influence this *** also discuss the impact of ACOs on the profit of physician *** agent-based model was built to simulate physician groups'ACO entrance and exit based on a set of simple rules and their complex interactions with other *** on the simulation results,we derive patterns of ACO expansion and contraction,following four stages of wait-and-see,rollercoaster,fast growth,and *** suggest that the growth of ACOs is sensitive to the initial state of ACO *** the initial size of ACO membership increases,it helps to eliminate the rollercoaster *** addition,the growth of the ACO varies depending on the cost–quality *** both cost and quality objectives can be met simultaneously,the growth of ACO membership follows wait-and-see and fast growth stages followed by a different stage that we term sticky *** impact of ACOs on physician groups’cumulative profit varies by the service quality level of the physician *** groups affiliated with insurance companies charging the lowest or the highest level of health insurance premiums are worse off with the ACO ***,the ACO benefits physician groups affiliated with an insurance company charging a moderate level of premiums.

The high permeability and strong selectivity of nanoporous silicon nitride(NPN)membranes make them attractive in a broad range of *** their growing use,the strength of NPN membranes needs to be improved for further extending their biomedical *** this work,we implement a deep learning framework to design NPN membranes with improved or prescribed strength *** examine the predictions of our framework using physics-based *** results confirm that the proposed framework is not only able to predict the strength of NPN membranes with a wide range of microstructures,but also can design NPN membranes with prescribed or improved *** simulations further demonstrate that the microstructural heterogeneity that our framework suggests for the optimized design,lowers the stress concentration around the pores and leads to the strength improvement of NPN membranes as compared to conventional membranes with homogenous microstructures.

Nanostructured Mg–Ni alloy with the particle size in the range of 40–50 nm was synthesized by the thermal decomposition of bipyridyl complexes of Mg and Ni metals at 773 K for 24 h under dry argon gas ambient. The as-prepared nano-alloy was characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron microscopy （sEM） and transmission electron microscopy （TEM） for compositional and structural analysis. The alloy exhibited superior hydrogen absorption and desorption behavior with 3.2 wt% absorption within 1 min at 573 K and about 3 wt% desorption within 5–10 min at 573 K. This favorable behavior of Mg–Ni compound for the hydrogen storage is due to the specific nanostructure of the material. The low activation energy values and favorable thermodynamics indicate that the prepared Mg–Ni alloy is an attracting material for hydrogen storage applications.

Cerebral Microbleeds(CMBs)are microhemorrhages caused by certain abnormalities of brain *** can be found in people with Traumatic Brain Injury(TBI),Alzheimer’s disease,and in old individuals having a brain *** research reveals that CMBs can be highly dangerous for individuals having dementia and *** CMBs seriously impact individuals’life which makes it crucial to recognize the CMBs in its initial phase to stop deterioration and to assist individuals to have a normal *** existing work report good results but often ignores false-positive’s perspective for this research *** this paper,an efficient approach is presented to detect CMBs from the susceptibility Weighted Images(sWI).The proposed framework consists of four main phases(i)making clusters of brain Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI)using k-mean classifier(ii)reduce false positives for better classification results(iii)discriminative feature extraction specific to CMBs(iv)classification using a five layers convolutional neural network(CNN).The proposed method is evaluated on a public dataset available for 20 *** proposed system shows an accuracy of 98.9%and a 1.1%false-positive rate *** results show the superiority of the proposed work as compared to existing states of the art methods.

Efficiency of seed bio-priming technique for healthy mungbean productivity under terminal drought stress

Recently, drought-induced damaging impact in reducing the crop growth and development is drastically ranked at the top under various abiotic stresses. And especially water stress at the reproductive growth stages termed as terminal drought has become a severe threat for mungbean productivity. To mitigate the drought stress condition, "bio-priming" has emerged as a newly agronomic and sustainable technique in improving the mungbean production. A 2-year field study during Kharif season 2017–2018 was conducted to investigate the efficacy of rhizobacteria seed priming in mungbean(AZRI mung-06), at Agronomic Research Area, Department of Agronomy, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, Pakistan. The experiment comprised two factors containing FA(seed treatments, control(dry seeds), hydro-priming, silicon(si)-priming, and bio-priming(mixture strains of Pseudomonas fluorescens+Rhizobium phaseoli)) and FB(irrigation water-regimes at various growth stages including leaf formation(L), stem elongation(s)+flowering(F)+pod formation(P) containing treatments are normal irrigation(I(L+s+F+P)) and terminal drought stress(I(F+P))). All the treatments were arranged in randomized complete block design under factorial design and were replicated thrice. Results indicated that the exposure of drought stress at flowering and pod formation stages hampered the morpho-physiological growth and yield of mungbean. Nevertheless, seed priming treatments particularly bio-priming were effective in alleviating the detrimental effects of drought stress. Bio-priming significantly increased the yield and yield components(seeds/plant, 1 000-grain weight and harvest index) of mungbean and regulated the activities/levels of antioxidants(superoxide dismutase, catalase, peroxidase, ascorbic acid, and total phenolics) under drought stress. Therapeutic targeting of metastatic breast cancer still remains a challenge as the tumor cells are highly heterogenous and exploit multiple pathways for their growth and metastatic spread that cannot always be targeted by a single-agent monotherapy ***,a rational approach through simultaneous targeting of several pathways may provide a better anti-cancer therapeutic effect We tested this hypothesis using a combination of two nutraceutical agents s-adenosylmethionine(sAM)and Vitamin D(Vit.D)prohormone[25-hydroxyvitamin D;/25(OH)D,]that are individually known to exert distinct changes in the expression of genes involved in tumor growth and *** results show that both sAM and 25(OH)D monotherapy significantly reduced proliferation and clonogenic survival of a panel of breast cancer cell lines in vitro and inhibited tumor growth,lung metastasis,and breast tumor cell colonization to the skeleton in ***,these effects were significantly more pronounced in the combination ***-sequencing revealed that the transcriptomic footprint on key cancer-related signaling pathways is broader in the combination setting than any of the ***,comparison of the differentially expressed genes from our transcriptome analyses with publicly available cancer-related dataset demonstrated that the combination treatment upregulates genes from immune-related pathways that are otherwise downregulated in bone metastasis in *** sAM and Vit.D are both approved nutraceuticals with known safety profiles,this combination treatment may serve as a novel strategy to reduce breast cancer-associated morbidity and mortality。

sulfide-based solid-state electrolytes (ssEs) with high Li+ conductivity (δLi^(+)) and trifling grain boundaries have great potential for all-solid-state lithium-metal batteries (AssLMBs). Nonetheless, the in-situ development of mixed ionic-electronic conducting solid-electrolyte interphase (sEI) at sulfide electrolyte/Li-metal anode interface induces uneven Li electrodeposition, which causes Li-dendrites and void formation, significantly severely deteriorating AssLMBs. Herein, we propose a dual anionic, e.g., F and N, doping strategy to Li7P3s11, tuning its composition in conjunction with the chemistry of sEI. Therefore, novel Li_(6.58)P_(2.76)N_(0.03)s_(10.12)F_(0.05) glass-ceramic electrolyte (Li_(7)P_(3)s_(11-5)LiF-3Li_(3)N-gce) achieved superior ionic (4.33 ms·cm^(−1)) and lowest electronic conductivity of 4.33 × 10^(−10) s·cm^(−1) and thus, offered superior critical current density of 0.90 mA·cm^(−2) (2.5 times >Li7P3s11) at room temperature (RT). Notably, Li//Li cell with Li6.58P2.76N0.03s10.12F0.05-gce cycled stably over 1000 and 600 h at 0.2 and 0.3 mA·cm^(−2) credited to robust and highly conductive sEI (in-situ) enriched with LiF and Li3N species. Li3N’s wettability renders sEI to be highly Li+ conductive, ensures an intimate interfacial contact, blocks reductive reactions, prevents Li-dendrites and facilitates fast Li+ kinetics. Consequently, LiNi0.8Co0.15Al0.05O_(2) (NCA)/Li_(6.58)P_(2.76)N_(0.03)s_(10.12)F_(0.05)-gce/Li cell exhibited an outstanding first reversible capacity of 200.8/240.1 mAh·g^(−1) with 83.67% Coulombic efficiency, retained 85.11% of its original reversible capacity at 0.3 mA·cm^(−2) over 165 cycles at RT.
