This research delves into an intricate exploration ofﬂuid dynamics within heat transfer systems,with a speciﬁc focus on enhancing our understanding and improving system efﬁ*** a sophisticated mathematical model,the study incorporates micropolarﬂuid dynamics,micro rotational effects,laminarﬂow characterized by the Darcy-Forchheimer model,inertia effects,and chemical reactions within a heat transfer system featuring boundary layer *** mathematical framework consists of partial differential equations(PDEs),and the study utilizes advanced numerical techniques,including the(PC4-FDm)Predictor-Corrector Finite Difference method and the shooting method,to solve these govern-ing *** inclusion of quantized mesh points and analysis of convergence using 4th orderﬁnite difference methods enhances the precision of the obtained *** param-eters are scrutinized to draw meaningful *** heterogeneous parameter reveals an increasing trend inﬂuid concentration,while the homogeneous parameter indicates a collision effect leading to a decrease inﬂuid *** Eckert number,associated with viscous dissipation,exhibits a correlation with decreasedﬂuid temperature and increasedﬂuid *** rotation parameters suggest a parallel increase inﬂuid velocity and a marginal decrease inﬂuid ***,the Darcy-Forchheimer parameter,reﬂective of inertial effects,showcases an increase inﬂuid temperature and decrease in velocity in the convection *** the industrial implications,the study underscores the signiﬁcance of convection heat transfer systems in the context of ***ﬁndings offer valuable insights for optimizing heating and cooling processes in diverse industrial applications,ranging from power plants to waste heat recovery units and pharmaceutical industries.ª2024 The *** services by Elsevier *** behalf of KeAi Communications ***.

more devices in the Intelligent Internet of Things(AIoT)result in an increased number of tasks that require low latency and real-time responsiveness,leading to an increased demand for computational *** computing’s low-latency performance issues in AIoT scenarios have led researchers to explore fog computing as a complementary ***,the effective allocation of resources for task execution within fog environments,characterized by limitations and heterogeneity in computational resources,remains a formidable *** tackle this challenge,in this study,we integrate fog computing and cloud *** begin by establishing a fog-cloud environment framework,followed by the formulation of a mathematical model for task ***,we introduce an enhanced hybrid Equilibrium Optimizer(EHEO)tailored for AIoT task *** overarching objective is to decrease both the makespan and energy consumption of the fog-cloud system while accounting for task *** proposed EHEO method undergoes a thorough evaluation against multiple benchmark algorithms,encompassing metrics likemakespan,total energy consumption,success rate,and average waiting *** experimental results unequivocally demonstrate the superior performance of EHEO across all assessed ***,in the most favorable conditions,EHEO significantly diminishes both the makespan and energy consumption by approximately 50%and 35.5%,respectively,compared to the secondbest performing approach,which affirms its efficacy in advancing the efficiency of AIoT task scheduling within fog-cloud networks.

In dye-photocatalysis, widening the wavelengths absorption range of catalysts as well as aborting the recombination of the photoexcited charge carriers(electrons-holes pairs) are of paramount *** the current study, we report the photocatalytic characteristics of four compositions composed of TiO_(2),Ti_(0.97)Cu_(0.03)O_(2), Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)powders for two harmful dyes(Congo red and methylene blue). The X-ray diffraction technique verified the configuration of mixed anatase and rutile phases in pure TiO_(2)and Ti_(0.97)Cu_(0.03)O_(2)powders while Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)powders possess anatase phase only. The changes of the band gap structure and dimensions of the unit cell volume of TiO_(2)confirm the substitution of Ti^(4+)sites by Cu^(2+)and La^(3+)ions. Remarkable widening of wavelengths absorption with formation of long absorption tails were found in TiO_(2)(3.13 e V) through insertion of La^(3+)plus Cu^(2+)ions. Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)samples exhibit a visible light band gap of 2.3 and 2.7 e V, respectively. Based on sEm images, incorporation of Cu^(2+)and La^(3+)ions influences the surface morphology of TiO_(2). The resulting Ti_(0.97)Cu_(0.03)O_(2), Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)powders present enhanced photocatalytic activity towards Congo red dye degradation compared to pure one under natural solar spectrum. The best Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)catalyst exhibits superior photocatalytic activity of 96% for 10 ppm CR dye in 20 min as well as above average photocatalytic efficiency of 63% for 30 ppm CR dye in 120 min. As well, it showed acceptable photodegradation activity of 52% for 30 ppm mB solution in 140 min of sunlight irradiation. Hemorrhoids are a common and painful condition,with conventional treatments such as endoscopic rubber band ligation(ERBL)and injection sclerotherapy often falling short due to high recurrence rates and significant post-operative pain.A clinical trial by Qu et al introduces a novel approach called endoscopic polidocanol foam sclerobanding(EFsB).This multicenter randomized trial involved 195 patients with grade II and III internal hemorrhoids and demonstrated that EFsB significantly reduced recurrence rates and post-procedural pain while improving symptom relief and patient satisfaction compared to *** study's strengths include its robust design,comprehensive outcome evaluation,and patient-centered *** limitations such as the single-blind design and relatively short follow-up period,the findings suggest that EFsB could enhance clinical practice by offering a more effective and patient-friendly treatment *** research is needed to validate these results and explore the long-term benefits and cost-effectiveness of EFsB.

This paper presents an innovative way to enhance the performance of photovoltaic(PV)arrays under uneven shadowing *** study focuses on a triple-series–parallel ladder configuration to exploit the benefits of increased power generation while ad-dressing the challenges associated with uneven *** proposed methodology focuses on the implementation of improved sliding-mode control technique for efficient global maximum power point ***-mode control is known for its robustness in the presence of uncertainties and disturbances,making it suitable for dynamic and complex systems such as PV *** work employs a comprehensive simulation framework to comment on the performance of the suggested improved sliding-mode control strategy in uneven shadowing *** analysis has been done to show the better effectiveness of the suggested method than the traditional control *** results demonstrate a remarkable enhancement in the tracking accuracy of the global maximum power point,leading to enhanced energy-harvesting capabilities under challenging environmental ***,the proposed approach exhibits robustness and adaptability in mitigating the effect of shading on the PV array,thereby increasing overall system *** research contributes valuable insights into the development of advanced control strategies for PV arrays,particularly in the context of triple-series–parallel ladder configurations operating under uneven shadowing *** short narrow shading conditions,the improved sliding-mode control method tracks the maximum power better compared with perturb&observe at 20.68%,incremental-conductance at 68.78%,fuzzy incremental-conductance at 19.8%,and constant-velocity sliding-mode control at 1.25%.The improved sliding-mode control method has 60%less chattering than constant-velocity sliding-mode control under shading conditions.

We revisit the problem of adsorption of a single^(4)He layer on graphene,focusing on the commensurate(C_(1/3))crystalline phase,specifically on whether it may possess a nonzero superfluid response,and on the existence of superfluid phases,either(metastable)liquid or vacancy-doped *** make use of canonical quantum monte Carlo simulations at zero and finite temperature,based on a realistic microscopic model of the *** results confirm the absence of any superfluid response in the commensurate crystal,and that no thermodynamically stable uniform phase exists at lower *** evidence of a possibly long-lived,metastable superfluid phase at C_(1/3)coverage is ***,the results of ground-state projection methods and finite-temperature simulations are entirely consistent.

The luminescent phosphor powder in the fluorescent lamp constitutes 2%of the lamp’s *** can be mentioned that fluorescent wastes are a crucial raw material to produce rare earth *** the present study,microwave leaching process was conducted to dissolve rare earth elements yttrium(Y),europium(Eu),and remaining rare earth elements(REEs)present in the phosphor powder of the fluorescent *** the yields were *** the microwave leaching process,the effects of the temperature(80-160℃),acid type(hydrochloric acid(HCl),nitric acid(HNO_(3)),sulphuric acid(H_(2)sO_(4))),acid concentration(0.5-6 mol/L),solid to liquid ratio(0.1:10-0.5:10)and reaction time(5-90 min)parameters on leaching efficiencies of varying rare earth elements and calcium were *** highest yield was obtained in the direct microwave leaching of fluorescent waste with the experimental conditions of 6 mol/L HCl,160℃,0.1:10 solid-to-liquid ratio(s:L),and 90 *** energy calculations were made,and kinetic models of the reactions were obtained,and it is observed that Y and Eu dissolution is diffusion-controlled,on the other hand,lanthanum(La),cerium(Ce),and terbium(Tb)were examined to be chemical reaction ***,calcium(Ca)and gadolinium(Gd)seem coherent with the mixed ***,mathematical models of all experimental studies are created with the response surface Box-Behnken method and the correlation coefficients of all the models are over 90%.
