Mesenchymal stem cells(MsCs)play diverse roles ranging from regeneration and wound healing to immune *** investigations have indicated the crucial role of these multipotent stem cells in regulating various aspects of the immune *** express unique signaling molecules and secrete various soluble factors that play critical roles in modulating and shaping immune responses,and in some other cases,MsCs can also exert direct antimicrobial effects,thereby helping with the eradication of invading ***,it has been demonstrated that MsCs are recruited at the periphery of the granuloma containing Mycobacterium tuberculosis and exert"Janus"-like functions by harboring pathogens and mediating host protective immune *** leads to the establishment of a dynamic balance between the host and the *** function through various immunomodulatory factors such as nitric oxide(NO),IDO,and immunosuppressive ***,our group has shown that *** uses MsCs as a niche to evade host protective immune surveillance mechanisms and establish *** also express a large number of ABC efflux pumps;therefore,dormant *** residing in MsCs are exposed to a suboptimal dose of ***,it is highly likely that drug resistance is coupled with dormancy and originates within *** this review,we discussed various immunomodulatory properties of MsCs,their interactions with important immune cells,and soluble *** also discussed the possible roles of MsCs in the outcome of multiple infections and in shaping the immune system,which may provide insight into therapeutic approaches using these cells in different infection models.

BACKGROUND： Nattokinase （NK） is a serine protease enzyme of the subtilisin family. It exhibits a strong fibrinolytic activity. The fibrinolytic enzymes from Bacillus sp. have attracted interest as thrombolytic agents because of their efficiency in the fibrinolytic process including plasmin activation. METHODs： In the present study, VIT garden soil was collected and subjected to isolation process in order to screen for the NK production. screening for NK enzyme was performed by radial caseinolytic assay. The production of NK enzyme was done in two different production medium for comparative studies. The NK enzyme was purified by gel permeation chromatography. The activity of the purified NK was checked by clot lysis and casein digestion assay. To investigate the structural basis of NK and fibrinogen interaction and also to identify the best binding mode, molecular dynamics and docking studies were performed. REsULTs： Based on the morphological and biochemical characterization, the isolate was identified as Bacillus sp. The overall purification fold of NK was about 3 with the specific activity of 664U/mg and 9.9% yield. Homogeneity of the purified enzyme was analyzed and confirmed by the single band obtained in sDs-PAGE. Molecular weight of the purified protease was estimated as 25 kDa. Purified NK enzyme exhibited 97% of effective clot lysis activity. The NK was docked in to the knob region of the fibrinogen at its binding site using Dock server. A total of 26 residues of fibrinogen and 29 residues of NK constitute the interface region. However, 9 residues offibrinogen （THR238, MET264, LYs266, ARG275, THR277, ALA279, AsN308, MET310, and LYs321） and 8 residues ofNK （GLY61, sER63, THR99, PHE189, LEU209, TYR217, AsN218, and MET222） are involved in intact binding. CONCLUsIONs： A significant amount of NK enzyme was obtained from Bacillus sp. A new nondestructive method to estimate the volume fraction and homogeneity of tristructural isotropic(TRIsO)-coated fuel particles in fuel compacts designed for high-temperature reactors has been developed using image analysis of conventional X-radiographs. The method is demonstrated on surrogate fuel compacts containing TRIsO-coated particles with kernels made of zirconium dioxide. The methodology incorporates a correction for superimposed images of TRIsO particles such that a single X-ray image obtained in any one random orientation is sufficient to characterize the fuel compact in terms of volume fraction and homogeneity. The method is based on the virtual segregation of images of each particle inside the compact with the aid of a calibration standard.

A series of some new 2-imino-5-[（Z）-1-（4-methylphenyl）methylidene]-3-[5-（2-oxo-2H-3-chromenyl）-1,3-oxazol-2-yl]-1,3- thiazolan-4-ones 5a-j has been synthesized and assayed for their antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria *** subtilis（ATCC 6633）,staphylococcus aureus（ATCC 6538p） and Micrococcus luteus（IFC 12708）,and Gram-negative bacteria viz. Proteus vulgaris（ATCC 3851）.salmonella typhimurium（ATCC 14028） and Escherichia coli（ATCC 25922）.Among the screened compounds,5d,5e,5f,5g,and 5j exhibited potent inhibitory activity compared to standard drug,and emerged as potential molecules for further development.

Optimization is a key technique for maximizing or minimizing functions and achieving optimal cost,gains,energy,mass,and so *** order to solve optimization problems,metaheuristic algorithms are *** of these techniques are influenced by collective knowledge and natural *** is no such thing as the best or worst algorithm;instead,there are more effective algorithms for certain ***,in this paper,a new improved variant of a recently proposed metaphorless Runge-Kutta Optimization(RKO)algorithm,called Improved Runge-Kutta Optimization(IRKO)algorithm,is suggested for solving optimization *** IRKO is formulated using the basic RKO and local escaping operator to enhance the diversification and intensification capability of the basic RKO *** performance of the proposed IRKO algorithm is validated on 23 standard benchmark functions and three engineering constrained optimization *** outcomes of IRKO are compared with seven state-of-the-art algorithms,including the basic RKO *** to other algorithms,the recommended IRKO algorithm is superior in discovering the optimal results for all selected optimization *** runtime of IRKO is less than 0.5 s for most of the 23 benchmark problems and stands first for most of the selected problems,including real-world optimization problems.

在303 K恒温条件下，以NaCl为电解质保持离子强度为0．16mol·L-1，用pH滴定法研究了M（Ⅱ）-Dopa（多巴）二元配合物在0-60％（V/V）的丙二醇（PG）-水体系中的生成平衡。在PG-水体系中，Ca（Ⅱ）和Mg（Ⅱ）的典型配合物为MLH，ML2，ML2H和ML2H2，而Zn（Ⅱ）的典型配合物为ML，MLH，ML2，ML2H和ML2H2。根据静电和非静电力解释了稳定常数随介质的介电常数而变化的倾向。还讨论了在不同组成的丙二醇（PG）-水体系中配合物物种随pH值变化的情况。
