At present,hundreds of cloud vendors in the global market provide various services based on a customer’s *** cloud vendors are not the same in terms of the number of services,infrastructure availability,security strategies,cost per customer,and reputation in the ***,software developers and organizations face a dilemma when choosing a suitable cloud vendor for their developmental ***,there is a need to evaluate various cloud service providers(CsPs)and platforms before choosing a suitable *** existing solutions are either based on simulation tools as per the requirements or evaluated concerning the quality of service ***,they require more time to collect data,simulate and evaluate the *** proposed work compares various CsPs in terms of major metrics,such as establishment,services,infrastructure,tools,pricing models,market share,etc.,based on the comparison,parameter ranking,and weightage ***,the parameters are categorized depending on the priority *** weighted average is calculated for each CsP,after which the values are sorted in descending *** experimental results show the unbiased selection of CsPs based on the chosen *** proposed parameter-ranking priority level weightage(PRPLW)algorithm simplifies the selection of the best-suited cloud vendor in accordance with the requirements of software development.

Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access(WiMAX)trusts Multiple Input Multiple Output-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(MIMO-OFDM)combination for the deployment of physical layer functions and for connecting the medium access control to the wireless *** though Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM)facilitates reliable digital broadband transmission in the fading wireless channels,the presence of synchro-nization errors in the form of Carrier Frequency Offset(CFO)and Time Offset(TO)adversely affect the performance of OFDM based physical *** objective of this work is to improve the accuracy of the frequency and the time offset estimation in the WiMAX physical layer.A method to enhance the synchro-nization accuracy byﬁne-tuning the merit factor of the preamble sequence is sug-gested in this ***,a new preamble with improved synchronization accuracy is proposed for the WiMAX *** performance of the proposed preamble is evaluated in a Rayleigh fading channel and the results of simulations show that the Mean square Error(MsE)in offset estimation is signiﬁcantly reduced and it outperforms the standard WiMAX preamble.

suitability of s-Glass/carbon fiber reinforced polymer composite for submarine hull subjected to hydrostatic pressure has been investigated in the present *** materials have raised concerns owing to their decomposition due to low resistance towards salinity and hence polymer composites have been explored to showcase their mechanical stability to withstand transverse and impact *** this end,the mechanical properties of s-Glass/carbon fiber reinforced polymer composite were experimentally investigated and higher specific strength and stiffness of the composite in comparison to many metallic materials used for submarine hull were *** obtained experimental values were used for the static and dynamic crash analysis of the bow,stern and foil through Finite Element Analysis(FEA);where depth of travel was varied from sea surface level of 0-7000 *** assembly was later developed with the optimum shape and thickness of each *** also report the nonlinear crash analysis upon impact at velocity ranging from 3 to 21 m/***,kinetic energy,acceleration peak and internal energy in struck submarine revealed that travel depth 1750 m and 3500 m is recommendable,more particularly,crash safety factor of the submarine is found to be within limit when submarine encounters crash at 1750 m.

Osteonecrosis(ON) is caused by inadequate blood supply leading to bone death, which results in the collapse of the architectural bony structure. Femoral head is the most common site involved in ON. Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) is a commonly used imaging modality to detect early ON. When MRI is inconclusive, bone scan is helpful in detecting ON during early phase of the disease. As newer nuclear medicine equipment, like single photon emission computed tomography/computed tomography(CT) and positron emission tomography/CT, are emerging in medical science, we review the role of these imaging modalities in ON of femoral head.

Objective:Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is currently the gold standard for treating symptomatic gallstone *** its success,approximately 10%of patients may experience persistent biliary symptoms,leading to the post-cholecystectomy syndrome.A remnant gallbladder with cystic duct or bile duct stones is one of the causes of this *** objective of this study was to shed light on the clinical manifestations,evaluation,therapeutic strategies,and outcomes associated with laparoscopic management of symptomatic remnant ***:This was a retrospective study,conducted over a five-year period(January 2017 to December 2022)at Apollo Hospitals in south *** patients who underwent laparoscopic completion cholecystectomy for a remnant gall bladder were *** following data were collected:patient demographics,symptoms,preoperative investigations,intraoperative details and post operative ***:In total,36 patients were included and *** majority of patients were male(25,69.4%),with a mean age of 50.7±12.1 *** most common presentation was pain in the upper abdomen or right upper quadrant region(24,66.7%).The laparoscopic approach was attempted in all patients,with a success rate of 94.4%.Two patients required conversion to open *** fistula to the colon was observed in one *** was observed in 7 patients(19.4%),and stone clearance was successfully achieved using endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography in all patients ***:Incomplete gall bladder removal either intentionally or unintentionally leaves a remnant gall bladder that is at risk for stone formation and *** who have this clinical entity with symptoms require a redo or complete cholecystectomy,a complex procedure associated with certain *** study highlights the feasibility and safety of laparoscopic completion cholecystectomy for the management of remnant gallbladder

stream sediment sampling is a significant tool in geochemical exploration. The stream sediment composition reflects the bedrock geology, overburden cover, and metalliferous mineralization. This research article focuses on assessing selected trace element concentrations in stream sediments and interpreting their inter-element relationships using multivariate statistical methods. Tagadur Ranganathaswamy Gudda and its surroundings in the Nuggihalli schist belt of southern India have been investigated in the present work. The geology of the study area is complex, with a diverse range of litho units and evidence of strong structural deformation. The area is known for its mineralization potential for chromite, vanadiferous titanomagnetite, and sulfides. The topography of the region is characterized by an undulating terrain with a radial drainage pattern. Most part of the schist belt is soil covered except the Tagadur Ranganathaswamy Gudda area. For this study, a discrete stream sediment sampling method was adopted to collect the samples. stream sediment samples were collected using a discrete sampling method and analyzed for trace elements using an ICP-AEs spectrophotometer: Fe, Cr, Ti, V, Cu, Ni, Zn, Pb, Mn, Cd, and As have been analyzed. The analytical data were statistically treated using the sPss software, including descriptive statistics, normalization of data using natural log transformation, and factor analysis with varimax rotation. The transformed data showed a log-normal distribution, indicating the presence of geochemical anomalies. The results of the study provide valuable insights into the geochemical processes and mineralization potential of the study area. The statistical analysis helps in understanding the inter-element relationships and identifying element groups and their implications on bedrock potential mineralization. AIM: To study the genotype phenotype correlation in Wilson's disease (WD) patients within families. METHODs: We report four unrelated families from south India with nine members affected with WD. Phenotype was classified as per international consensus phenotypic classifi cation of WD. DNA was extracted from peripheral blood and 21 exons of ATP7B gene and flanking introns were amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The PCR products were screened for mutations and the aberrant products noted on screening were sequenced. REsULTs: Four separate ATP7B mutations were found in the four families. ATP7B mutations were identical amongst affected members within each family. Three families had homozygous mutations of ATP7B gene while one family had compound heterozygous mutation, of which only one mutation was identifi ed. We noted concordance between ATP7B gene mutation and Wilson's disease phenotype amongst members within each family. The age of onset of symptoms or of detection of asymptomatic disease, baseline serum ceruloplasmin and baseline urinary copper levels were also similar in affected members of each family. Minor differences in phenotype and baseline serum ceruloplasmin level were noted in one ***: We report concordance between ATP7B mutation and WD phenotype within each family with > 1 member affected with WD. Homozygous ATP7B mutation was present in 3 of the 4 families studied. Our report supports allelic dominance as a determinant of WD phenotype. However, in one family with compound heterozygous mutation, there was a similar WD phenotype which suggests that there may be other factors determining the phenotype.

The Jayachamarajapura schist belt in western Dharwar craton, southern India, is predominantly an ultramafics dominant terrain. These rocks have been extensively metamorphosed and altered to serpentinite. The komatiite nature of ultramafics is conspicuous. In most of the areas of the belt these ultramafics are massive in nature. However, some of the ultramafic units show layered nature. But, their outcrops are encompassed within the massive komatiitic bodies. These komatiitic ultramafics are predominantly Mg-rich in nature. The layered rocks are also Mg-rich, and their field setting and geochemistry suggest their intermittent occurrence as sills, during the differentiation of peridotitic magma. The layered rocks, which have been intensely serpentinisation show homogenous nature. They are almost wholly made of serpentine with occasional relics of pyroxene. secondary carbonate mineral is often noticed. Their higher MgO content indicates Mg-rich ultramafic magmatism during Archaean orogeny.
