Global hybrid simulations of soft X-ray emissions in the Earth’s magnetosheath

Earth’s magnetopause is a thin boundary separating the shocked solar wind plasma from the magnetospheric plasmas,and it is also the boundary of the solar wind energy transport to the *** X-ray imaging allows investigation of the large-scale magnetopause by providing a two-dimensional(2-D)global view from a *** performing 3-D global hybrid-particle-in-cell(hybrid-PIC)simulations,we obtain soft X-ray images of Earth’s magnetopause under different solar wind conditions,such as different plasma densities and directions of the southward interplanetary magnetic *** all cases,magnetic reconnection occurs at low latitude *** soft X-ray images observed by a hypothetical satellite are shown,with all of the following identified:the boundary of the magnetopause,the cusps,and the *** X-ray emissivity in the magnetosheath is characterized by large amplitude fluctuations(up to 160%);however,the maximum line-of-sight-integrated X-ray intensity matches the tangent directions of the magnetopause well,indicating that these fluctuations have limited impact on identifying the magnetopause boundary in the X-ray ***,the magnetopause boundary can be identified using multiple viewing *** also find that solar wind conditions have little effect on the magnetopause *** solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(sMILE)mission will provide X-ray images of the magnetopause for the first time,and our global hybrid-PIC simulation results can help better understand the 2-D X-ray images of the magnetopause from a 3-D perspective,with particle kinetic effects considered.

Credit Guarantee and the Impact in Financial structure of the

The aim of this work is to show the relevance of guarantees provided by the Mutual Credit Guarantee system （Gs—the Portuguese society of Credit Guarantee （sPGM）） as an instrument used in the financing of small and edium Enterprises （sMEs）, especially in restructuring Long-Term Debt （LTD） and bank loans. The studyprovides empirical evidence and puts forward an explanatory model of the influence of the mutual creditguarantees on the financing of sMEs. Using data obtained from the MCGs, for the CAE （economic activity） 412（construction of buildings, which is the sector with the greatest number of companies seeking this type of financing） and the sABI database （system for analysis of Iberian financial statements）, a multiple regressionmodel was made, studying the impact that mutual guarantees have in the financial structure of the sMEs. The results obtained show that LTD financing is positively influenced by the guarantees provided by the MCGs to sMEs as it allows greater debt capacity, especially in the medium and long term, for firms that usually cannotobtain this type of financing. The results also suggest that this type of guarantees creates an environment of confidence among all stakeholders involved, showing that both in terms of overall capital structure and in terms of erely financial credit, the response from the explanatory variables in the models was consistent with the beginning xpectations, that the financial gap has been reduced with the contribution of mutual guarantees in the fnancingprocess.

Evolutionary game analysis of information service quality control of e-commerce platforms under information ecology

Due to the information asymmetry and imperfect supervision system,the problem of information service quality of e-commerce platforms is becoming increasingly *** on the perspective of information ecology,this paper constructs a three-party evolutionary game model including merchants,e-commerce platforms and governments,and analyzes the dynamic process of the threeparty game under bounded rationality,thereby characterizing the behavior and optimal strategies of information service quality *** carry out numerical simulation using data of the Pinduoduo *** results show that the cost of each party,control strength of e-commerce platforms,proportion of margin deducted and other factors are important factors affecting the quality of information service;Only when the sum of the costs of passive management of e-commerce platforms,penalties for merchants,and the additional revenue generated from the active management exceeds the cost of the active management of the e-commerce platforms,it ensures effective control over the quality of information service in a stable market ***,some suggestions are put forward to optimize the e-commerce information service quality control.

Background:Prenatal and postnatal factors may have joint effects on cardiovascular health,and we aimed to assess the joint association of birth weight and ideal cardiovascular health metrics(ICVHMs)prospectively in adulthood with incident cardiovascular disease(CVD).Methods:In the UK Biobank,227,833 participants with data on ICVHM components and birth weight and without CVD at baseline were *** ICVHMs included smoking,body mass index,physical activity,diet information,total cholesterol,blood pressure,and hemoglobin *** Cox proportional hazards model was used to estimate the hazard ratios(HRs)and 95%confidence intervals(CIs)in men and ***:Over a median follow-up period of 13.0 years(2,831,236 person-years),we documented 17,477 patients with incident *** with participants with birth weights of 2.5-4.0 kg,the HRs(95%CIs)of CVD among those with low birth weights was 1.08(1.00-1.16)in men and 1.23(1.16-1.31)in *** association between having a birth weightsk in men was more prominent for those ageds than for those of older age(P for interaction=0.026).Lower birth weight and non-ideal cardiovascular health metrics were jointly related to an increased risk of *** with birth weightss score 0-1 had the highest risk of incident CVD(HR[95%CI]:3.93[3.01-5.13]in men;4.24[3.33-5.40]in women).The joint effect(HR[95%CI]:1.36[1.17-1.58])could be decomposed into 24.7%(95%CI:15.0%-34.4%)for a lower birth weight,64.7%(95%CI:56.7%-72.6%)for a lower ICVHM score,and 10.6%(95%CI:2.7%-18.6%)for their additive interaction in ***:Birth weight and ICVHMs were jointly related to CVD *** a normal birth weight and ideal ICVHMs may reduce the risk of CVD,and a simultaneous improvement of both prenatal and postnatal factors could further prevent additional cases in women.

In this work, an advanced analysis of Cu/Fe NPs thin films using atomic force microscopy（AFM） has been discussed to characterize at nanoscale 3-D surface microtexture. samples of Cu/Fe thin films were fabricated by Direct Current-Magnetron sputtering technique with two controlled thicknesses（group Ⅰ: Cu 55 nm/Fe 55 nm and group Ⅱ: Cu 55 nm/Fe 70 nm） in specific conditions of pressure and power. The results obtained from experimental measurements suggested that the surface of group I has the lowest values for fractal dimension（D = 2.28 ± 0.01） and root mean square height（sq = 4.40 ± 0.1 nm）;while the highest values for fractal dimension（D = 2.31 ± 0.01） and root mean square height（sq = 4.67 ± 0.1 nm） were found in group Ⅱ. stereometric and fractal analyses applied for thin films are modern tools for accurate quantitative morphometric characterisation.

Maximum Correntropy Criterion-Based UKF for Loosely Coupling INs and UWB in Indoor Localization

Indoor positioning is a key technology in today’s intelligent environments,and it plays a crucial role in many application *** paper proposed an unscented Kalman filter(UKF)based on the maximum correntropy criterion(MCC)instead of the minimummean square error criterion(MMsE).This innovative approach is applied to the loose coupling of the Inertial Navigation system(INs)and Ultra-Wideband(UWB).By introducing the maximum correntropy criterion,the MCCUKF algorithm dynamically adjusts the covariance matrices of the system noise and the measurement noise,thus enhancing its adaptability to diverse environmental localization *** in the presence of non-Gaussian noise,especially heavy-tailed noise,the MCCUKF exhibits superior accuracy and robustness compared to the traditional *** method initially generates an estimate of the predicted state and covariance matrix through the unscented transform(UT)and then recharacterizes the measurement information using a nonlinear regression method at the cost of ***,the state and covariance matrices of the filter are updated by employing the unscented transformation on the measurement ***,to mitigate the influence of non-line-of-sight(NLOs)errors positioning accuracy,this paper proposes a k-medoid clustering algorithm based on bisection k-means(Bikmeans).This algorithm preprocesses the UWB distance measurements to yield a more precise position *** results demonstrate that MCCUKF is robust to the uncertainty of UWB and realizes stable integration of INs and UWB systems.

Liquid crystals are a vital component of modern photonics,and recent studies have demonstrated the exceptional sensing properties of stimuli-responsive cholesteric liquid ***,existing cholesteric liquid crystal-based sensors often rely on the naked eye perceptibility of structural color or the measurement of wavelength changes by spectrometric tools,which limits their practical ***,developing a platform that produces recognizable sensing signals is *** this study,we present a visual sensing platform based on geometric phase encoding of stimuli-responsive cholesteric liquid crystal polymers that generates real-time visual patterns,rather than frequency *** demonstrate this platform’s effectiveness,we used a humidity-responsive cholesteric liquid crystal polymer film encoded with a q-plate pattern,which revealed that humidity causes a shape change in the vortex beam reflected from the encoded cholesteric liquid crystal ***,we developed a prototype platform towards remote humidity monitoring benefiting from the high directionality and long-range transmission properties of laser beams carrying orbital angular *** approach provides a novel sensing platform for cholesteric liquid crystals-based sensors that offers promising practical *** ability to generate recognizable sensing signals through visual patterns offers a new level of practicality in the sensing field with stimuli-responsive cholesteric liquid *** platform might have significant implications for a broad readership and will be of interest to researchers working in the field of photonics and sensing technology.
