BACKGROUND Endoscopic papillectomy(EP) for benign ampullary neoplasms could be a lessinvasive alternative to pancreatoduodenectomy(PD). There are some problems and limitations with EP. The post-EP resection margins of ampullary tumors are often positive or uncertain because of the burning effect of EP. The clinical outcomes of resected margin positive or uncertain cases after EP remain *** To investigate the clinical outcomes of resected margin positive or uncertain cases after *** Between January 2007 and October 2018, all patients with ampullary tumors who underwent EP at Kobe University Hospital were included in this study. The indications for EP were as follows: adenoma, as determined by preoperative endoscopic biopsy, without bile/pancreatic duct extension, according to endoscopic ultrasound or intraductal ultrasound. The clinical outcomes of resected margin positive or uncertain cases after EP were retrospectively *** Of the 45 patients, 29 were male, and 16 were female. The mean age of the patients was 65 years old. Forty-one patients(89.5%) underwent en bloc resection,and 4 patients(10.5%) underwent piecemeal resection. After EP, 33 tumors were histopathologically diagnosed as adenoma, and 12 were diagnosed as adenocarcinoma. The resected margins were positive or uncertain in 24 patients(53.3%). Of these cases, 15 and 9 were diagnosed as adenoma and adenocarcinoma, respectively. Follow-up observation was selected for all adenomas and 5 adenocarcinomas. In the remaining 4 adenocarcinoma cases,additional PD was performed. Additional PD was performed in 4 cases, and residual carcinoma was found after the additional PD in 1 of these cases. In the follow-up period, local tumor recurrence was detected in 3 cases. Two of these cases involved primary EP-diagnosed adenoma. The recurrent tumors were also adenomas detected by biopsy. The murine model of subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH)is a valuable experimental tool for investigating molecular and cellular mechanisms,and the endovascular filament perforation technique can be used to simulate prominent pathophysiological features observed after human SAH;however,current validation methods for assessing an appropriate SAH model are ***,we introduce a simple procedure for se-lecting a mouse model of diffuse *** was induced in 24 mice using a standard filament perforation *** confirming survival at 24 h,SAH was scored 0-1 based on T2*-weighted images on whole-brain magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and visual surveillance of the cisterna magna(CM)through the dura *** CM-based SAH grading correlated well with a reference parameter defined by extracted brain(r^(2)=0.53,p<0.0001).The receiver operating characteristic curve revealed a sensi-tivity of 85%and a specificity of 91%for detecting diffuse SAH,with a similar area under the curve(0.89±0.06[standard error of the mean])as the MRI-based grading(0.72±0.10,p=0.12).Our data suggest that confirming an SAH clot in the CM is a valuable way to select a clinically relevant diffuse SAH model that can be used in future experimental studies.

换道决策是智能网联汽车的核心难题之一,其面临着高动态、复杂交通场景下需要综合考虑行驶安全及效率等目标的巨大挑战。提出一种多目标预测优化的换道决策方法,主要包括动力学矩阵建模及多目标预测优化问题解算。基于智能网联汽车的通讯大数据信息构建交通流矩阵模型,然后分别设计表征车辆换道安全、行驶效率的动力学模型,通过多目标综合预测优化方法,求解条件约束下预测优化问题从而优化出最优换道决策指令。结果表明,所提出的预测优化换道方法较其他方法提高了智能汽车的行驶安全性和效率。

C-mannosylation is a post-translational modification that occurs intracellularly in the endoplasmic *** humans,biosynthesis of C-mannosylation in proteins containing thrombospondin type 1 repeat is catalyzed by the DPY19 family;nonetheless,biological functions of protein C-mannosylation are not yet fully understood,especially in tumor *** mimicry(VM)is the formation of fluid-conducting channels by highly invasive and genetically deregulated tumor cells,enabling the tumors to form matrix-embedded vasculogenic structures,containing plasma and blood cells to meet the metabolic demands of rapidly growing *** this study,we focused on DPY19L3,a C-mannosyltransferase,and aimed to unravel its role in *** of DPY19L3 inhibited the formation of VM in HT1080 human fibrosarcoma ***-expression of wild-type DPY19L3 recovered VM formation;however,DPY19L3 isoform2,an enzymatic activity-defect mutant,did not restore it,suggesting that the C-mannosyltransferase activity of DPY19L3 is crucial to its ***,the knockdown of DPY19L3 in MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells hindered its network formation ***,our findings suggest that DPY19L3 is required for VM formation and stipulate the relevance of C-mannosylation in oncogenesis.

BACKGROUND Emergency pancreaticoduodenectomy(EPD)is a rare event for complex periam-pullary *** intraoperative blood loss is correlated with poor post-operative *** SUMMARY Two patients underwent EPD using a no-touch isolation technique,in which all arteries supplying the pancreatic head region were ligated and divided before manipulation of the pancreatic head and *** operative times were 220 and 239 min,and the blood loss was 70 and 270 g,*** patients were discharged on the 14^(th) and 10^(th) postoperative day,***-two patients underwent EPD for the treatment of neoplastic *** mean operative time was 361.6 min,and the mean blood loss was 747.3 *** comp-lication rate was 37.5%.The in-hospital mortality rate was 9.38%.CONCLUSION The no-touch isolation technique is feasible,safe,and effective for reducing intraoperative blood loss in EPD.
