We predict the production yield of a medical radioisotope^(67)Cu using^(67)Zn(n,p)^(67)Cu and ^(68)Zn(n,pn)^(67)Cu reactions with fast neutrons provided from laser-driven neutron *** neutrons were generated by the p+9Be and d+9Be reactions with high-energy ions accelerated by laser–plasma *** evaluated the yield to be(3.3±0.5)×10^(5) atoms for^(67)Cu,corresponding to a radioactivity of 1.0±0.2 Bq,for a Zn foil sample with a single laser *** a simulation with this result,we estimated^(67)Cu production with a high-frequency *** result suggests that it is possible to generate^(67)Cu with a radioactivity of 270 MBq using a future laser system with a frequency of 10 Hz and 10,000-s radiation in a hospital.

混鱼龙科除Mixosaurus cornalianus之外的其他属种由于化石材料稀少、保存破碎,此前对其形态解剖学特征,特别是前肢形态结构特征及其生长发育过程和种内差异认识存在局限。经对发掘自贵州省盘州市(原为盘县)新民乡及邻区多件不同大小的Mixosaurus panxianensis标本前肢进行观察对比和定量研究,发现其尺骨、桡腕骨、指骨以及豌豆骨显示了一定的随生长发育而发生的特征变化。此外,桡骨前缘凹口和中间腕骨近端凹口的发育状态在M. cornalianus及M. panxianensis中均存在种内变异。

The Ontology registry system is developed to collect, manage, and compare ontological information for integrating global observation data. Data sharing and data service such as support of metadata deign, structuring of data contents, support of text mining are applied for better use of data as data interoperability. Semantic network dictionary and gazetteers are constructed as a trans-disciplinary dictionary. Ontological information is added to the system by digitalizing text based dictionaries, developing 'knowledge writing tool' for experts, and extracting semantic relations from authoritative documents with natural language processing technique. The system is developed to collect lexicographic ontology and geographic ontology.

Noninvasive,glucose-monitoring technologies using infrared spectroscopy that have been studied typically require a calibration process that involves blood collection,which renders the methods somewhat *** develop a truly noninvasive,glucose-monitoring technique using midinfrared spectroscopy that does not require blood collection for calibration by applying domain adaptation(DA)using deep neural networks to train a model that associates blood glucose concentration with mid-infrared spectral data without requiring a training dataset labeled with invasive blood sample *** realizing DA,the distribution of unlabeled spectral data for calibration is considered through adversarial update during training networks for regression to blood glucose *** calibration improved the correlation coeffcient between the true blood glucose concentrations and predicted blood glucose concentrations from 0.38 to *** result indicates that this calibration technique improves prediction accuracy for mid-infrared glucose measurements without any invasively acquired data.

A novel synthesis method for hexagonal （]3）ophase NaYF4：Er nano-crystals （NCs） which showed up-conversion （UC） from infrared to visible spectral region was developed. The NaYF4：Er NCs were synthesized in oleie acid （OA） and 1-0ctadeeene （ODE） with Y2（COa）3＇xH20, Er2（COa）3xH20, Na2CO3 and NH4F as precursors. This proposed method was simple and less toxic compared with generally used method so far. The XRD results showed that the molar ratio of OA/ODE and the temperature were key factors for phase control ofNaYF4：Er NCs. The UC emission spectra were obtained with the emission wavelength at about 980 nm （4111/2--4115/2）, 800 nm （41912--415/2）, 660 nm （4F912--4115/2） and 540 nm （453/2----4115/2） from Er3＋ ions, by excitation wavelength of 1550 nm. The slope values, n, in the pump-power dependence, showed that the emission at 980 and 800 um were generated by 2-step UC and at 660 nm and 540 um were 3-step UC. The optical process for the UC excitation was discussed.

Machine-learned interatomic potentials enable realistic finite temperature calculations of complex materials properties with firstprinciples *** is not yet clear,however,how accurately they describe anharmonic properties,which are crucial for predicting the lattice thermal conductivity and phase transitions in solids and,thus,shape their technological *** we employ a recently developed on-the-fly learning technique based on molecular dynamics and Bayesian inference in order to generate an interatomic potential capable to describe the thermodynamic properties of zirconia,an important transition metal *** machine-learned potential accurately captures the temperature-induced phase transitions below the melting *** further showcase the predictive power of the potential by calculating the heat transport on the basis of Green–Kubo theory,which allows to account for anharmonic effects to all *** study indicates that machine-learned potentials trained on the fly offer a routine solution for accurate and efficient simulations of the thermodynamic properties of a vast class of anharmonic materials.

Understanding urban dynamics and large-scale human mobility will play a vital role in building smart cities and sustainable urbanization. Existing research in this domain mainly focuses on a single data source (e.g., GPS data, CDR data, etc.). In this study, we collect big and heterogeneous data and aim to investigate and discover the relationship between spatiotemporal topics found in geo-tagged tweets and GPS traces from smartphones. We employ Latent Dirichlet Allocation-based topic modeling on geo-tagged tweets to extract and classify the topics. Then the extracted topics from tweets and temporal population distribution from GPS traces are jointly used to model urban dynamics and human crowd flow. The experimental results and validations demonstrate the efficiency of our approach and suggest that the fusion of cross-domain data for urban dynamics modeling is more practical than previously thought.

A new concept for producing highly pure Ti metal powder from ilmenite(FeTiO)_(3))is proposed in this *** nitride(TiN)or titanium oxycarbonitride(TiO_(x)C_(y)N_(z))could be synthesized in the first step via the simultaneous carbothermal reduction and nitridation(CTRN)of FeTiO3 to remove oxygen *** separate oxygen completely,high-quality TiS2 samples were then synthesized from TiN and TiC using S2 gas,and the clean sulfides were finally reduced toα-Ti powders with spherical morphology using electrolysis in molten CaCl_(2).Xray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)in conjunction with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS),and elemental LECO analysis were used to study the phases and microstructures of the sulfides and the electrochemically reduced *** Ti powder showed no carbon contamination and consisted of high-purity foil-like Ti sheets with very low oxygen,carbon,and nitrogen contents of less than 0.15 wt%O,0.02 wt%C,and 0.003 wt%N,*** quality of the Ti powder was much higher than that of the powder obtained using the conventional OS process(proposed by *** and ***)starting directly from the oxides.
