The sixth-generation(6G)wireless communication system is envisioned be cable of providing highly dependable services by integrating with native reliable and trustworthy ***-trust vehicular networks is one of the typical scenarios for 6G dependable *** the technical framework of vehicle-and-roadside collaboration,more and more on-board devices and roadside infrastructures will communicate for information *** reliability and security of the vehicle-and-roadside collaboration will directly affect the transportation *** a zero-trust vehicular environment,to prevent malicious vehicles from uploading false or invalid information,we propose a malicious vehicle identity disclosure approach based on the shamir secret sharing ***,a two-layer consortium blockchain architecture and smart contracts are designed to protect the identity and privacy of benign vehicles as well as the security of their private *** that,in order to improve the efficiency of vehicle identity disclosure,we present an inspection policy based on zero-sum game theory and a roadside unit incentive mechanism jointly using contract theory and subjective logic *** verify the performance of the entire zero-trust solution through extensive simulation *** the premise of protecting the vehicle privacy,our solution is demonstrated to significantly improve the reliability and security of 6G vehicular networks.

This paper develops a social media-disaster resilience analysis framework by categorizing types of social media use and their challenges to better understand and assess its role in disaster resilience research and *** framework is derived primarily from several case studies of Twitter use in three hurricane events in the United states-Hurricanes Isaac,sandy,and *** paper first outlines four major contributions of social media data for disaster resilience research and management,which include serving as an effective communication platform,providing ground truth information for emergency response and rescue operations,providing information on people's sentiments,and allowing predictive ***,there are four_key challenges to its uses,which include,easy spreading of false information,social and geographical disparities of Twitter use,technical issues on processing and analyzing big and noisy data,especially on improving the locational accuracy of the tweets,and algorithm bias in Al and other types of ***,the paper proposes twenty strategies that the four sectors of the social media community-organizations,individuals,social media companies,and researchers-could take to improve social media use to increase disaster resilience.

We investigated the potential impacts of climate change on water-related ecosystem services(WEs).Based on the review of the recent literature,we concluded that climate change will have substantial effects on provisioning,regulating,and cultural WEs via changes in the distribution and value of water over space and ***,the effects of climate change on specific WEs will be different depending on the extent of the impact of such changes in the distribution of water and the adaptive capacity of the region’s biophysical and social *** 2015 California drought provides an excellent example of the cascading effects of climate change on multiple *** streamflow and the concomitant rising stream temperatures have immediately threatened the provision of drinking water and hydropower generation and threatened the health of ecosystems that rely on *** secondary effects of drought on WEs are widespread across different water-dependent industries,including water-based *** findings of our study also show that the impacts of climate change will differ by location,suggesting a need for a place-based flexible climate adaptation *** also suggest that future research directions include the examination of:(1)the multiple cascading effects of climate change on potential synergies and tradeoffs among different WEs,(2)the specific effects of changing climate and the connectivity of WEs from upstream to downstream WEs users,(3)the changing value of WEs over space and time under changing climates,and(4)the effectiveness of various climate adaptation measures on the whole suite of WEs。

Objective Phoresy represents a non-parasitic association between animals of different taxa related to transportation. Members of several pseudoscorpion families are phoretic. In pseudoscorpions, phoresy may or may not be associated with their predatory behavior, enabling dispersal over larger distances than they could manage with their own short legs. This provides a wide distribution, and a potential food supply.

In this paper,we first re-examine the previous protocol of controlled quantum secure direct communication of Zhang et al.’s scheme,which was found insecure under two kinds of attacks,fake entangled particles attack and disentanglement ***,by changing the party of the preparation of cluster states and using unitary operations,we present an improved protocol which can avoid these two kinds of ***,the protocol is proposed using the three-qubit partially entangled set of *** is more efficient by only using three particles rather than four or even more to transmit one bit secret *** our using state is much easier to prepare for multiqubit states and our protocol needs less measurement resource,it makes this protocol more convenient from an applied point of view.

Mass asymmetry and tricyclic wobble motion assessment using automated launch video analysis

This paper describes an approach to identify epicyclic and tricyclic motion during projectile flight caused by mass asymmetries in spinstabilized projectiles. Flight video was captured following projectile launch of several M110A2E1 155 mm artillery projectiles. These videos were then analyzed using the automated flight video analysis method to attain their initial position and orientation *** of the pitch and yaw histories clearly indicates that in addition to epicyclic motion's nutation and precession oscillations, an even faster wobble amplitude is present during each spin revolution, even though some of the amplitudes of the oscillation are smaller than 0.02 *** results are compared to a sequence of shots where little appreciable mass asymmetries were present, and only nutation and precession frequencies are predominantly apparent in the motion history results. Magnitudes of the wobble motion are estimated and compared to product of inertia measurements of the asymmetric projectiles.

Over the last 20 years, compression fossils of feathers surrounding dinosaurs have greatly expanded our understanding of the origin and evolution of feathers. One of the most peculiar feather morphotypes discovered to date are rachis dominated feathers(RDFs), which have also been referred to as proximally ribbon-like pennaceous feathers(PRPFs). These elongate feathers are only found in the tail plumage, typically occurring in pairs with both streamer(not proximally ribbon-like) and racket-plume morphologies recognized. Here we describe a large sample set of isolated and paired RDFs from Upper Cretaceous Burmese amber(～ 99 Ma). Amber preserves the finest details of these fragile structures in three dimensions, demonstrating that RDFs form a distinct feather morphotype with a ventrally open rachis, and with significant variability in pigmentation, microstructure, and symmetry.

Assessing social Vulnerability to Flood Hazards in the Dutch Province of Zeeland

The 2007 European Union Floods Directive encouraged member nations to pursue a more integrated view of flood risks and management strategies, taking into account social vulnerabilities of residents. To date, most flood-risk analyses conducted by the Dutch government have focused on physical risk. This study utilizes fine-scale data to construct a social vulnerability index for 147 districts of the Dutch province of Zeeland, located in the southwestern Delta and the scene of widespread devastation following the 1953 North sea Flood. Factor analysis of 25 indicators of social vulnerability selected from related research in Europe and the United states results in seven factors explaining roughly 66% of the total variance. These factors of social vulnerability in Zeeland are urban density,low-income households, recent population change, female gender, train access, and self-employed and service-sector employment. The index was constructed using the toploading variable in each of these factors, with weights determined by the variance explained by each *** range from a low of 0.20 in schore, municipality of Kapelle, to the highest score of 0.64 in Oudelandse Hoeve of Terneuzen. The most vulnerable districts are located in south Zeeland, with eight of the 10 found in *** majority of less vulnerable districts are located in Zeeland’s central region.
