The precise control on the combination of multiple metal atoms in the structure of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)endowed by reticular chemistry,allows the obtaining of materials with compositions that are programmed for achieving enhanced *** present work illustrates how through the transformation of MOFs with desired arrangements of metal cations,multi-metal spinel oxides with precise compositions can be obtained,and used as catalyst precursor for the reverse water-gas shift *** differences in the spinel initial composition and structure,determined by neutron powder diffraction,influence the overall catalytic activity with changes in the process of in s itu formation of active,metal-oxide supported metal nanoparticles,which have been monitored and characterized with in situ X-ray diffraction and photoelectron spectroscopy studies.

Numerous dermatological disorders have been associated with underlining malignancies of the gastrointestinal (GI)*** cutaneous manifestations might have an important diagnostic value if they are the sole expressions of otherwise asymptomatic *** recognition of some typical paraneoplastic dermatologic disorders can lead to the prompt diagnosis of the underlying malignancy,timely administration of therapy,and ultimately,better *** this review we discuss the most common paraneoplastic dermatological syndromes from the perspective of the practicing gastroenterologist. We also outline a comprehensive practical approach for the evaluation for occult malignancy in patients presenting with cutaneous findings potentially associated with GI cancers.

Real-world evidence (RWE) is clinical evidence on a medical product’s safety and efficacy that is generated using real-world data (RWD) resulting from routine healthcare delivery. This study evaluates the clinical efficacy of amoxicillin + clavulanic acid in children with pharyngitis, acute otitis, or acute rhinosinusitis with suspected bacterial origin under normal office and home conditions. Methods: This was a real-life, prospective, observational, pharmacovigilance study. It included children of both sexes between 2 and 12 years old, with a diagnosis of Rhinopharyngitis (tonsillitis), Acute Otitis Media and Rhinosinusitis. The main effectiveness variable evaluated was reduction and time to resolution of symptoms. All patients received Amoxicillin/Clavulanic Acid suspension 600 mg/42.9 mg/5 mL at a dose of 90 mg/Kg/day in two doses, every 12 hours for 7 days. The evaluations were carried out at the beginning, at 72 hours (3rd day) and at 7 days. All patients underwent culture and antibiogram. Results: The majority of cultures were negative for pathogenic germs, suspecting unidentifiable germs, or viral etiology despite the rigorous selection of subjects following validated scores. The most frequently isolated germ was Staphylococcus aureus;growth of gram-negative bacteria was reported in 33.33% of the cultures. There was a significant improvement in symptoms in children with tonsillitis and rhinosinusitis from the first 72 hours of treatment, persisting until the 7 days. In the otitis media group, returning to normal by the tenth day. During the conduction of this investigation, no adverse effects associated with the prescribed therapy were reported.

Effect of retained austenite and nonmetallic inclusions on the thermal/electrical properties and resistance spot welding nuggets of Si-containing TRIP steels

Five advanced high-strength transformation-induced plasticity(TRIP) steels with different chemical compositions were studied to correlate the retained austenite and nonmetallic inclusion content with their physical properties and the characteristics of the resistance spot welding nuggets. Electrical and thermal properties and equilibrium phases of TRIP steels were predicted using the JMatPro? software. Retained austenite and nonmetallic inclusions were quantified by X-ray diffraction and saturation magnetization techniques. The nonmetallic inclusions were characterized by scanning electron microscopy. The results show that the contents of Si, C, Al, and Mn in TRIP steels increase both the retained austenite and the nonmetallic inclusion contents. We found that nonmetallic inclusions affect the thermal and electrical properties of the TRIP steels and that the differences between these properties tend to result in different cooling rates during the welding process. The results are discussed in terms of the electrical and thermal properties determined from the chemical composition and their impact on the resistance spot welding nuggets.

Serrated polyps have been an area of intense focus for gastroenterologists over the past several years. Contrary to what was thought before,a growing body of literature indicates that these polyps can be precursors of colorectal cancer(CRC).Most of these lesions, particularly those in the proximal colon,have so far been under-recognized and missed during colonoscopy,qualifying these lesions to be the main cause of interval *** is estimated that 10%-20%of CRCs evolve through this alternative,serrated pathway, with a distinct genetic and epigenetic *** DNA methylation plays a central role in the development of this CRC *** characteristic molecular background is reflected in a unique pathological and clinical manifestation different from cancers arising via the traditional *** this review we would like to highlight morphological,molecular and clinical features of this emerging pathway that are essential for gastroenterologists and may influence their everyday practice.

A pool of dormant stages of planktonic organisms in saline lakes is a substantial component in the plankton communities;we need to take it into account to understand plankton *** water bodies in Crimea,the largest peninsula in the Black Sea,constitute a very characteristic and peculiar habitat type in the *** examined the presence of crustacean resting stages in sediments of dried up sites of the Crimean hypersaline *** samples were taken in 9 different *** performed on the hatching of these resting stages showed the presence of Moina salina(Cladocera),parthenogenetic Artemia and Artemia urmiana(Anostraca),Eucypris mareotica( inflata)(Ostracoda),and Cletocamptus retrogressus(Harpacticoida).Comparing the experimental results obtained with clean dried brine shrimp cysts and those kept in sediment samples,it was noted that clean cysts hatched much faster than those from sediments *** components in bottom sediments slow down and desynchronize hatching from resting eggs in different groups of *** sediments of different lakes inhibited the nauplii output from Artemia and ostracod resting eggs to different *** data are needed before we can discuss the reasons of this *** nonsynchronous output of active stages from the bottom resting ones may be an adaptation that allows crustacean species to exist in extreme and unpredictably changing environments,avoiding the risk that all may emerge at once under unsuitable conditions.

纳米碳管复合及聚苯胺包覆Sb_(2)MoO_(6)复合材料的制备及储锂性能研究

以三氟化锑和钼酸铵为锑源和钼源,采用水热法制备出锑钼锑(Sb_(2)MoO_(6))和Sb_(2)MoO_(6)/纳米碳管(CNTs)复合物,利用苯胺聚合在Sb_(2)MoO_(6)和Sb_(2)MoO_(6)/CNTs上继续包覆聚苯胺(PANI)得到Sb_(2)MoO_(6)@PANI (Sb_(2)MoO_(6)/CNT)@PANI。采用XRD、SEM、EDX等手段对样品结构和形貌进行表征,结果发现制备的Sb_(2)MoO_(6)为不均匀的长为10μm的棒状形貌,而CNTs复合后的Sb_(2)MoO_(6)形貌变成厚约为100 nm的片状。作为锂离子电池负极材料,对所有合成的样品进行电化学性能测试,探讨CNTs复合和聚苯胺(PANI)包覆对Sb_(2)MoO_(6)样品的电化学性能的影响。结果表明:Sb_(2)MoO_(6)@PANI、Sb_(2)MoO_(6)/CNTs、(Sb_(2)MoO_(6)/CNTs)@PANI样品的电化学性能均优于Sb_(2)MoO_(6),其中(Sb_(2)MoO_(6)/CNT)@PANI具有最佳的电化学性能。(Sb_(2)MoO_(6)/CNT)@PANI在电压范围为0.01~3 v、电流密度为100 mA·g^(-1)条件下,循环100圈后,放电比容量为650 mAh·g^(-1)。CNTs复合和PANI包覆后的Sb_(2)MoO_(6),颗粒粒径大大降低,还增加了钼酸锑的导电性(阻抗161Ω),在电化学循环过程中有效延缓了Sb_(2)MoO_(6)材料的体积崩塌。

The mid-infrared spectrum can be recorded from almost any material,making mid-infrared spectroscopy an extremely important and widely used sample characterization and analysis ***,sensitive photoconductive detectors operate primarily in the near-infrared(NIR),but not in the mid-infrared,making the NIR more favorable for accurate spectral *** the absorption cross section of vibrational modes in the NIR is orders of magnitude smaller compared to the fundamental vibrations in the mid-infrared,different concepts have been proposed to increase the detectability of weak molecular transitions ***,the contribution of magnetophotonic structures in the NIR absorption effect has never been explored so *** we propose high-Q magnetophotonic structures for a supersensitive detection of weak absorption resonances in the *** analyze the contributions of both magnetic and nonmagnetic photonic crystal configurations to the detection of weak molecular transitions *** results constitute an important step towards the development of highly sensitive spectroscopic tools based on high-Q magnetophotonic sensors.
