Our previous studies have proved that the phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase(PI3K)/Akt signal pathway was involved in the neuroprotection of 17β-estradiol(βE2) against H2O2-induced retinal neurons apoptosis in *** aim of this study is to observe whetherβE2 can also protect retinal neurons from light damage in vivo by activating the PI3K/Akt signal *** used 180 to 230 g female SD rats exposed to persistent white light after ovariectomy 2 weeks as experimental model and used Electroretinogram (ERG),DNA ladder,TUNEL,HE staining,Western blotting and Immunofluorescence techniques to investigate the neuroprotection ofβ*** results showed that SD rats were exposed to 8000 lux white light for 12 h resulted in retinal function decrease and photoreceptor cells apoptosis, and 10-4M and 10-5MβE2 by intravitreal injection all significantly enhanced the photosensitive function of retinal by preventing neuronal *** mechanism research found that the neuroprotection ofβE2 involved in increasing the phosphorylation of Akt which was partly blocked by the pretreatment with PI3K inhibitor LY294002 for 30 min beforeβE2 *** cleaved caspase-3 as an activation form of caspase-3 was observed after light damage and the administration ofβE2 can attenuate the activation of caspase-3,while pretreatment with LY294002 can inhibit the attenuation ofβ*** results showed that NF-κB translocated from cytoplasm to nucleus afterβE2 injection,and LY294002 could also inhibit partly this *** present results indicated thatβE2 has a neuroprotective effect against light-induced photoreceptor cells apoptosis,and the PI3K/Akt pathway plays an important role in this neuroprotection,which involved in translocation of NF-κB from cytoplasm to nucleus and inhibited the activation of caspase- 3,but the detailed mechanism of theβE2 neuroprotection is being further study.

The alteration of intracellular Ca2+ concentration ([Ca2+]i) is different under diversity *** different results could represent differences in cell type, intensity of injury or timing of assessment of[Ca2+]i relative to *** this study,we used primary cultured retinal neurons as experimental model,detected the[Ca2+]i through FACS technique,using Fluo-3AM as a Ca2+ *** cell viability has been measured simultaneously by MTT. The results showed that the cell viability of primary cultured retinal neurons was reduced time dependently from 0 hour to 24 hours after 100μM H202 stressed,but the[Ca2+]i was increased at 2h and 4h after 100μM H202 treatment,and then recovered ***,we also investigated the[Ca2+]i at different time point during 10μM 17β-estradiol (βE2) treatment and found that the[Ca2+]i was increased rapidly at 30 minutes afterβE2 treatment,then reduced gradually to control ***,we detected the[Ca2+]i and cell viability undergoing 10μMβE2 and lOOuM H2O2 co-treatment,suggesting that both[Ca2+]i and cell viability were increased significantly under 10μMβE2 pretreatment for 30 minutes before co-application with 100μM H202 for 2h,compared with 100μM H202 only *** increases in[Ca2+]i and cell viability were attenuated dose dependently by PI3K inhibitor ***,the [Ca2+]i was no differences between group of 10μMβE2 pretreatment for 1h before co-application with 100μM H2O2 for 2h and group of 100μM H2O2,and the PI3K inhibitor LY294002 had no obvious effect on *** present results indicated that[Ca2+]i increase occurs early in the process of primary cultured retinal neurons injury caused by 100μM H2O2;the PI3K/Akt pathway plays a important role in the neuroprotective effects of 10μMβE2 pretreatment for 30 minutes on retinal neurons,which involved the[Ca2+]i alteration;and it may be associated withβE2 rapidly and transiently increasing[Ca2+]i,but the mechanism of which is being further study an

目的探讨肺炎支原体肺炎(MPP)婴幼儿继发血小板增多症的临床特征及其意义。方法回顾比较MPP婴幼儿中继发血小板增多与血小板正常者的临床资料。结果 336例MPP婴幼儿中继发性血小板增多症67例,男28例、女39例,中位年龄2.16(1.75~3.16)岁;血小板正常269例,男138例、女131例,中位年龄2.25(1.92~3.25)岁。与血小板正常组相比,继发血小板增多组的住院和发热时间更长,热峰更高,白细胞计数、C反应蛋白、降钙素原和血沉水平更高,肺外并发症、难治性MPP以及多重病原感染发生率均更高,差异有统计学意义(P均<0.05)。血小板计数与住院天数、发热天数、热峰、白细胞计数、C-反应蛋白及血沉指标均呈显著正相关(r=0.215~0.547,P均<0.05)。结论 MPP婴幼儿中出现继发性血小板增多症者可表现出更严重的临床症状及肺外并发症。

Modification of Maxwell model for conductivity prediction of carbon nanotubes-filled polymer composites with tunneling effect

Carbon nanotubes(CNTs) have garnered great attention in recent years due to their outstanding electrical, thermal, and mechanical properties. The incorporation of small amounts of CNTs in polymers can substantially improve the sensitivity of the polymer's electrical conductivity. This paper presents a modified Maxwell model to evaluate the electrical conductivity of CNTs-filled polymer composites by introducing a transition zone to account for the tunneling effect. In this modified Maxwell model, the CNTs-filled polymer composite is modeled as a three-phase composite, consisting of a matrix(polymer), inclusions(CNTs), and a transition zone(tunneling zone). The effective electrical conductivity(EEC) of the composite is calculated based on the volume fractions and electrical conductivities of the matrix, inclusions, and transition zone. The model's validity is confirmed through the use of available test data, which demonstrates its capability to accurately capture the nonlinear conductivity behavior observed in CNTs-polymer composites. This study offers valuable insights into the design of high-performance conductive polymer nanocomposites, and enhances the understanding of electrical conduction mechanisms in CNT-dispersed polymer composites.

Impacts of the annual cycle of background SST in the tropical Pacific on the phase and amplitude of ENSO

The dominant annual cycle of sea surface temperature(SST)in the tropical Pacific exhibits an antisymmetric mode,which explains 83.4%total variance,and serves as a background of El Niño-Southern Oscillation(ENSO).However,there is no consensus yet on its anomalous impacts on the phase and amplitude of *** on data during 1982-2022,results show that anomalies of the antisymmetric mode can affect the evolution of ENSO on the interannual scale via Bjerknes feedback,in which the positive(negative)phase of the antisymmetric mode can strengthen El Niño(La Niña)in boreal winter via an earlier(delayed)seasonal cycle transition and larger(smaller)annual *** magnitude of the SST anomalies in the equatorial eastern Pacific can reach more than±0.3◦C,regulated by the changes in the antisymmetric mode based on random sensitivity *** reveal the spatial pattern of the annual cycle associated with the seasonal phase-locking of ENSO evolution and provide new insight into the impact of the annual cycle of background SST on ENSO,which possibly carries important implications for forecasting ENSO.

Satellite remote sensing reveals overwhelming recovery of forest from disturbances in Asia

Forest ecosystems play key roles in mitigating human-induced climate change through enhanced carbon uptake;however,frequently occurring climate extremes and human activities have considerably threatened the stability of *** the same time,detailed accounts of disturbances and forest responses are not yet well quantified in *** study employed the Breaks For Additive Seasonal and Trend method-an abrupt-change detection method-to analyze the Enhanced Vegetation Index time series in East Asia,South Asia,and Southeast *** approach allowed us to detect forest disturbance and quantify the resilience after *** showed that 20%of forests experienced disturbance with an increasing trend from 2000 to 2022,and Southeast Asian countries were more severely affected by ***,95%of forests had robust resilience and could recover from disturbance within a few *** resilience of forests suffering from greater magnitude of disturbance tended to be stronger than forests with lower disturbance *** summary,this study investigated the resilience of forests across the low and middle latitudes of Asia over the past two *** authors found that most forests exhibited good resilience after disturbance and about two-thirds had recovered to a better state in *** findings of this study underscore the complex relationship between disturbance and resilience,contributing to comprehension of forest resilience through satellite remote sensing.

Effect of pyrite content on chalcopyrite flotation under different regrinding conditions

This study aimed to investigate the effect of varying pyrite(Py)content on copper(Cu)in the presence of different regrinding conditions,which were altered using different types of grinding media:iron,ceramic balls,and their mixture,followed by flotation in the cleaner *** flotation performance of rough Cu concentrate can be improved by changing the regrinding conditions based on the Py *** electron microscopy,X-ray spectrometry,ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt extraction,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy studies illustrated that when the Py content was high,the use of iron media in regrinding promoted the generation of hydrophilic Fe OOH on the surface of Py and improved the Cu *** ceramic medium with a low Py content prevented excessive Fe OOH from covering the surface of chalcopyrite(Cpy).Electrochemical studies further showed that the galvanic corrosion current of Cpy-Py increased with the addition of Py and became stronger with the participation of iron media.

SEFormer:A Lightweight CNN-Transformer Based on Separable Multiscale Depthwise Convolution and Efficient Self-Attention for Rotating Machinery Fault Diagnosis

Traditional data-driven fault diagnosis methods depend on expert experience to manually extract effective fault features of signals,which has certain ***,deep learning techniques have gained prominence as a central focus of research in the field of fault diagnosis by strong fault feature extraction ability and end-to-end fault diagnosis ***,utilizing the respective advantages of convolution neural network(CNN)and Transformer in local and global feature extraction,research on cooperating the two have demonstrated promise in the field of fault ***,the cross-channel convolution mechanism in CNN and the self-attention calculations in Transformer contribute to excessive complexity in the cooperative *** complexity results in high computational costs and limited industrial *** tackle the above challenges,this paper proposes a lightweight CNN-Transformer named as SEFormer for rotating machinery fault ***,a separable multiscale depthwise convolution block is designed to extract and integrate multiscale feature information from different channel dimensions of vibration ***,an efficient self-attention block is developed to capture critical fine-grained features of the signal from a global ***,experimental results on the planetary gearbox dataset and themotor roller bearing dataset prove that the proposed framework can balance the advantages of robustness,generalization and lightweight compared to recent state-of-the-art fault diagnosis models based on CNN and *** study presents a feasible strategy for developing a lightweight rotating machinery fault diagnosis framework aimed at economical deployment.
