Highly Thermally Conductive Polymer/Graphene Composites with Rapid Room‑Temperature Self‑Healing Capacity

Composites that can rapidly self-healing their structure and function at room temperature have broad application ***,in view of the complexity of composite structure and composition,its self-heal is facing *** this article,supramolecular effect is proposed to repair the multistage structure,mechanical and thermal properties of composite materials.A stiff and tough supramolecular frameworks of 2-[[(butylamino)carbonyl]oxy]ethyl ester(PBA)–polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)were established using a chain extender with double amide bonds in a side chain to extend prepolymers through ***,by introducing the copolymer into a folded graphene film(FGf),a highly thermally conductive composite of PBA–PDMS/FGf with self-healing capacity was *** ratio of crosslinking and hydrogen bonding was optimized to ensure that PBA–PDMS could completely self-heal at room temperature in 10 ***,PBA–PDMS/FGf exhibits a high tensile strength of 2.23±0.15 MPa at break and high thermal conductivity of 13±0.2 W m^(−1)K^(−1);of which the self-healing efficiencies were 100%and 98.65%at room temperature for tensile strength and thermal conductivity,*** excellent self-healing performance comes from the efficient supramolecular interaction between polymer molecules,as well as polymer molecule and *** kind of thermal conductive self-healing composite has important application prospects in the heat dissipation field of next generation electronic devices in the future.

Solid particle erosion on the material surfaces is a very common phenomenon in the industrial field,which greatly affects the efficiency,service life,and even poses a great threat to life ***,current research on erosion resistance is not only inefficient,but also limited to the improvement of hardness and toughness of *** by typical scorpion(Parabuthus transvaalicus),biomimetic functional samples with exquisite anti-rosion structures were *** morphology and structure of the biological prototype were analyzed and *** to above analysis,combined with response surface methodology,a set of biomimetic samples with different structural parameters were fabricated by using 3D printing *** anti-crosion performance of these biomimetic samples was investigated using a blasting jet *** on the results of blasting jet test,as well as regression analysis and fiting,the optimal structural parameters were *** addition to the static test conditions,the optimal biomimetic sample was also eroded in rotating condition and showed excellent erosion resistance *** presence of bump and groove structures,on the one hand,reduced the croded area of biominetic sample *** the other hand,they made the airlow turbulent and consequently reduced the impact cnergy of solid particles,which significantly improved the erosion resistance of biomimetic *** study provides a new strategy to improvethe service life of components easily affected by erosion in the aviation,energy and military fields.

Dexmedetomidine as an adjunct to peripheral nerve blocks in pediatric patients

Background Combining local anesthetics with dexmedetomidine(DEX)for nerve blocks has been tested and confirmed as an alternative technique to strengthen analgesia in adults,but the evidence supported this proposal in pediatrics was not convincing ***,we intend to conduct a meta-analysis to make an appraisal of the effects of DEX as a local anesthetic adjuvant on peripheral nerve blocks in *** The analysis has been registered on https://***/prospero/with the registration number CRD42021254029 on June 10th,***,Ovid MEDLINE,Embase and Cochrane central register were searched for the randomized controlled trials(RCTs)that are relevant to child/pain/DEX or block up to April 30,*** Eight RCTs were included for data *** pooled results showed a significantly reduced number of patients who required postoperative analgesics within DEX groups[odds ratio=0.1,95%confidence interval(CI)0.03-0.32,P<0.001].And DEX significantly prolonged the duration of analgesia of local anesthetics in the meantime[standardized mean difference(SMD)=4.93,95%CI 3.02-6.83,P<0.001].Nevertheless,adding DEX as an adjunct to local anesthetics would significantly decrease heart rate(SMD=-0.95,95%CI-1.45 to-0.45,P<0.001)and increase sedation score(SMD=1.6,95%CI 0.53-2.66,P=0.003)*** Adding DEX as an adjunct to peripheral nerve blocks can prolong analgesia until postoperative 8 hours in pediatric ***,the benefits should be weighed against the increasing risk of bradycardia and sedation in critical children.

A preliminary study on pollution characteristics of surfactant substances in fine particles in the Beibu Gulf Region of China

The pollution characteristics of surfactant substances in fine particles(PM_(2.5))in spring were studied in the Beibu Gulf Region of China,68 samples of PM_(2.5)were collected at Weizhou Island in Beihai City from March 12 to April 17,*** Anionic Surfactant Substances(ASS)and Cationic Surfactant Substances(CSS)in the samples were analyzed using Byethyl Violet Spectrophotometry and Disulfide Blue Spectrophotometry,*** with the data from backward trajectory simulation,the effects of air pollutants from remote transport on the pollution characteristics of surfactant substances in PM_(2.5)in the Beibu Gulf Region were analyzed and *** results showed that the daily mean concentrations of ASS and CSS in spring in the Beibu Gulf Region were 165.20 pmol/m^(3)and 8.05 pmol/m^(3),and the variation ranges were 23.21–452.55 pmol/m^(3)and 0.65–31.31 pmol/m^(3),accounting for 1.82‰±1.65‰and 0.12‰±0.11‰of the mass concentration of PM_(2.5),*** concentrations were lower than those in comparable regions around the *** was no clear correlation between the concentrations of ASS and CSS in PM_(2.5)and the mass concentrations of PM_(2.5).Tourism and air transport had a positive contribution on the concentrations of *** concentration of surfactant substances in PM_(2.5)was significantly impacted by wind speed and wind *** temperature,air pressure and precipitation had little effect on the concentrations of surfactant *** substances in PM_(2.5)significantly impacted *** also showed that the main sources of surfactant substances were from the southern China and Southeast Asia.

Biotoxicity dynamic change and key toxic organics identification of coal chemical wastewater along a novel full-scale treatment process

The photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cell is determined by multiple interrelated factors,such as perovskite compositions,electronic properties of each transport layer and fabrication parameters,which makes it rather challenging for optimization of device performances and discovery of underlying ***,we propose and realize a novel machine learning approach based on forward-reverse framework to establish the relationship between key parameters and photovoltaic performance in high-profile MASnxPb1-xI3 perovskite *** proposed method establishes the asymmetrically bowing relationship between band gap and Sn composition,which is precisely verified by our *** on the analysis of structural evolution and SHAP library,the rapid-change region and low-bandgap plateau region for small and large Sn composition are explained,*** establishing the models for photovoltaic parameters of working photovoltaic devices,the deviation of short-circuit current and open-circuit voltage with band gap in defective-zone and low-bandgap-plateau regions from Shockley-Queisser theory is captured by our models,and the former is due to the deep-level traps formed by crystallographic distortion and the latter is due to the enhanced susceptibility by increased Sn4+*** more difficulty for hole extraction than electron is also concluded in the models and the prediction curve of power conversion efficiency is in a good agreement with Shockley-Queisser *** the help of search and optimization algorithms,an optimized Sn:Pb composition ratio near 0.6 is finally obtained for high-performance perovskite solar cells,then verified by our *** constructive method could also be applicable to other material optimization and efficient device development.

Hydrogen(H2)production is a latent feasibility of renewable clean *** industrial H2 production is obtained from reforming of natural gas,which consumes a large amount of nonrenewable energy and simultaneously produces greenhouse gas carbon *** water splitting is a promising approach for the H2 production,which is sustainable and ***,developing efficient and economic technologies for electrochemical water splitting has been an important goal for researchers around the *** utilization of green energy systems to reduce overall energy consumption is more important for H2 *** and converting energy from the environment by different green energy systems for water splitting can efficiently decrease the external power consumption.A variety of green energy systems for efficient producing H2,such as two-electrode electrolysis of water,water splitting driven by photoelectrode devices,solar cells,thermoelectric devices,triboelectric nanogenerator,pyroelectric device or electrochemical water-gas shift device,have been developed *** this review,some notable progress made in the different green energy cells for water splitting is discussed in *** hoped this review can guide people to pay more attention to the development of green energy system to generate pollution-free H2 energy,which will realize the whole process of H2 production with low cost,pollution-free and energy sustainability conversion.

Hierarchical pattern recognition of landform elements considering scale adaptation

Landform elements with varying morphologies and spatial arrangements are recognized as feature indicator of landform classification and play a critical role in geomorphological *** geometry method has been extensively applied in prior landform element research,while its efficacy in differentiating similar morphological characteristics remains inadequate to *** reduce reliance on geomorphometric variables and increase awareness of landform patterns,geomorphons method was generated in previous study corresponding to specific landform reclassification map based on lookup ***,to address the problem of feature similarity,hierarchical classification was proposed and effectively utilized for terrain recognition through the analytical strategy of fuzzy gradient ***,combining the advantages of these two aspects,a hierarchical framework was proposed in this study for landform element pattern recognition considering the morphology and hierarchy ***,the local triplet patterns derived from geomorphons were enhanced by setting the flatness threshold,and subsequently adopted for the primary landform element ***,as geomorphic units with the same morphology possess different spatial analytical scales,the unidentified landform elements under the principle of scale adaptation were determined by calculating the spatial correlation and entropy *** ensure the effectiveness of this proposed method,the sampling points were randomly selected from NASADEM data and then validated against a real 3D terrain *** results of landform element pattern recognition demonstrate that our approach can reach above 77%average ***,it delineates local details more effectively than geomorphons in visual assessment,resulting in a 7%accuracy improvement in overall scale.

A 3D in vitro co-culture model for evaluating biomaterial-mediated modulation of foreign-body responses

The immune response after implantation of a biomaterial may shorten the functional life of the implant,depending on the degree of the *** this study,we used a polyacrylamide-alginate(PAAm-Alg)hydrogel,which has been previously characterized as a biocompatible material and shown to enhance regeneration of cartilage in vivo,along with a graphiteenhanced hydrogel(PAAm-Alg-G)as a non-biocompatible counterpart,to evaluate macrophage attachment and polarization to pro-or anti-inflammatory *** performance of each biomaterial in the presence of fibroblasts and chondrocytes was validated by an in vitro model which demonstrated modulation of the foreign-body response.A blend of 5%gelatin methacryloyl and 0.1%methacrylated hyaluronic acid was optimized to mimic the extracellular matrix(ECM)and support cell viability,proliferation,migration,and functionality at an initial concentration of 3.25×10^(5) cells/*** PAAm-Alg-G hydrogel localized in the simulated ECM showed cytotoxic and genotoxic effects for both fibroblasts and chondrocytes,while exhibiting a proliferative effect on macrophages with elevated immune *** M1/M2 ratio was 0.73 for PAAm-Alg hydrogel but 2.64 for PAAm-Alg-G,leading to significant M1 dominance(p0.05).The interleukin-6(IL-6)concentration secreted in the presence of PAAm-Alg hydrogel(4.58 pg/mL)significantly decreased(p<0.0001)on day 13,while the increase(p<0.0001)in interleukin-10(IL-10)concentration(120.73 pg/mL)confirmed the switch from a pro-inflammatory to an anti-inflammatory *** immune responses by developing a simplistic yet powerful three-dimensional in vitro model provides advantages in preparing for clinical use of biomaterials.

Conventional hyperspectral cameras cascade lenses and spectrometers to acquire the spectral datacube,which forms the fundamental framework for hyperspectral ***,this cascading framework involves tradeoffs among spectral and imaging performances when the system is driven toward ***,we propose a spectral singlet lens that unifies optical imaging and computational spectrometry functions,enabling the creation of minimalist,miniaturized and high-performance hyperspectral *** a paradigm,we capitalize on planar liquid crystal optics to implement the proposed framework,with each liquid-crystal unit cell acting as both phase modulator and electrically tunable spectral *** with various targets show that the resulting millimeter-scale hyperspectral camera exhibits both high spectral fidelity(>95%)and high spatial resolutions(~1.7 times the diffraction limit).The proposed“two-in-one”framework can resolve the conflicts between spectral and imaging resolutions,which paves a practical pathway for advancing hyperspectral imaging systems toward miniaturization and portable applications.
