The catalytic oxidation performance toward ethylene oxide(EO)and the consequent mechanism were investigated on the Pt-Ru/CuCeO_(x)bimetallic catalyst,which was prepared by a distinct method combining stepwise adsorption and subsequent *** catalytic tests show that the introduction of Ru into the Pt catalyst,so as to form Pt-Ru bimetallic active sites,can greatly increase the oxidation activity of the catalyst,as evidenced by the extremely lower full oxidation temperature(120℃)when compared with that of the Pt/CeO_(2) catalyst(160℃).The XPS spectra show that the Ru species(mainly ruo_(x))have strong interaction with the CuCeO_(x) support,which can therefore affect the electron transfer between the Pt species and the *** a result,the oxygen activation on Pt species is obviously facilitated and catalytic activity is ***,in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(DRIFTs)was used to track the reaction *** is found that the catalytic oxidation process follows the MvK catalytic mechanism at low temperature and the L-H catalytic mechanism when the temperature moves to higher range.

A broadband blue-emitting Sr_(1-x)Ca_(x)Lu_(2)O_(4):Ce^(3+)(x=0-0.2) phospho rs were synthesized,which can be used for near-UV pumped white light-emitting diodes(w-LEDs).The crystal structures,photoluminescence pro perties,external quantum efficiency,the rmal stability and application perfo rmance of Sr_(1-x)Ca_(x)Lu_(2)O_(4):Ce^(3+),by partially substituting Sr^(2+) with Ca^(2+)(x=0-0.2),were studied by various analytical *** the Ca/Sr ratio of Sr_(1-x)Ca_(x)Lu_(2)O_(4):Ce^(3+) gradually increases,the emission peak of Sr_(1-x)Ca_(x)Lu_(2)O_(4):Ce^(3+) red-shiftes from 459 to 465 nm,corrected external quantum efficiency increases from 31.8% to 42.9%,and the thermal stability is also *** mechanism of the changes of the photoluminescence emission and excitation spectra,external quantum efficiency and thermal stability properties was also investigated in *** addition,a w-LED was fabricated by using SrLu_(2)O_(4):Ce^(3+)(blue),β-sialon:Eu^(2+)(green) and(Sr,Ca)AlSiN_(3):Eu^(2+)(red) phosphors combined with a 405 nm near-UV LED chip,and its color rendering index(CRI) reaches *** Sr_(0.8)Ca_(0.2)Lu_(2)O_(4):Ce^(3+) is applied as blue phosphor to substitute SrLu_(2)O_(4):Ce^(3+),the obtained w-LED devices have high luminous efficiency,and CRI greater than *** re sults show that the Sr_(1-x)Ca_(x)Lu_(2)O_(4):Ce^(3+) can be potential blue phosphors for n-UV pumped high CRI w-LEDs application.

Lithium sulfur batteries are regarded as a promising candidate for high-energy-density energy storage ***,the lithium metal anode in lithium-sulfur batteries encounters the problem of lithium dendrites and lithium metal consumption caused by polysulfide *** we design a dualfunction PMMA/PPC/LiNO3composite as an artificial solid electrolyte interphase(PMCN-SEI)to protect Li metal *** SEI offers multiple sites of C=O for polysulfide anchoring to constrain corrosion of Li metal *** lithiated polymer group and Li3N in PMCN-SEI can homogenize lithium-ion deposition behavior to achieve a dendrite-free *** a result,the PMCN-SEI protected Li metal anode enables the Li||Li symmetric batteries to maintain over 300 cycles(1300 h)at a capacity of 5 m Ah cm^(-2),corresponding to a cumulative capacity of 3.25 Ah cm^(-2).Moreover,Li-S batteries assembled with 20μm of Li metal anode(N/P=1.67)still deliver an initial capacity of 1166 m A h g-1at ***,introducing polycarbonate polymer/inorganic composite SEI on Li provides a new solution for achieving the high energy density of Li-S batteries.

Mineralization of benzene,toluene,and xylene (BTX) with high efficiency at room temperature is still a challenge for the purification of indoor *** this work,a foam Ti/Sb-Sn O2/β-Pb O_(2)anode catalyst was prepared for electrocatalytically oxidizing gaseous toluene in an all-solid cell at ambient *** complex Ti/Sb-Sn O_(2)/β-Pb O_(2)anode,which was prepared by sequentially deposing Sb-Sn O_(2)and β-Pb O_(2)on a foam Ti substrate,shows high electrocatalytic oxidation efficiency of toluene (80%) at 7 hr of reaction and high CO_(2)selectivity (94.9%) under an optimized condition,i.e.,a cell voltage of 2.0 V,relative humidity of60%and a flow rate of 100 m L/*** better catalytic performance can be ascribed to the high production rate of·OH radicals from discharging adsorbed water and the inhibition of oxygen evolution on the surface of foam Ti/Sb-Sn O_(2)/β-Pb O_(2)anode when compared with the foam Ti/Sb-Sn O_(2)*** results demonstrate that prepared complex electrodes can be potentially used for electrocatalytic removal of gaseous toluene at room temperature with a good performance.

High nitrogen stainless steel with nitrogen content of 0.75%was welded by gas metal arc welding with Ar-N_(2)-O_(2)ternary shielding *** effect of the ternary shielding gas on the retention and improvement of nitrogen content in the weld was *** test was conducted first to compare the ability of O_(2)and CO_(2)in prompting nitrogen *** nitrogen content of the surfacing metal with O_(2)is slightly higher than CO_(2).And then AreN_(2)-O_(2)shielding gas was applied to weld high nitrogen stainless *** using N_(2)-containing shielding gas,the nitrogen content of the weld was improved by 0.1 wt%.As N_(2)continued to increase,the increment of nitrogen content was not obvious,but the ferrite decreased from the top to the *** the proportion of N_(2)reached 20%,a full austenitic weld was obtained and the tensile strength was improved by 8.7%.Combined with the results of surfacing test and welding test,it is concluded that the main effect of N_(2)is to inhibit the escape of nitrogen and suppress the nitrogen diffusion from bottom to the top in the molten pool.

Wireless underground sensor networks (WUSNs) are an emerging research field with promising applications. However, WUSNs links suffer from significant attenuation as the propagation of the signal needs to pass through soil, rock,and water. Magnetic induction (MI)-based transmission is proposed to overcome these issues as MI signal can penetrate most substances similarly without experiencing high path loss, which ensures the robustness of WUSNs links [1].

The unique structural features of hard carbon(HC)make it a promising anode candidate for sodium-ion batteries(SIB).However,traditional methods of preparing HC require special equipment,long reaction times,and large energy consumption,resulting in low throughputs and *** our contribution,a novel synthesis method is proposed,involving the formation of HC nanosheets(NS-CNs)within minutes by creating an anoxic environment through flame combustion and further introducing sulfur and nitrogen sources to achieve heteroatom *** effect of heterogeneous element doping on the microstructure of HC is quantitatively analyzed by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and image processing *** with density functional theory calculation,it is verified that the functionalized HC exhibits stronger Na^(+)adsorption ability,electron gain ability,and Na^(+) migration *** a result,NS-CNs as SIB anodes provide an ultrahigh reversible capacity of 542.7mAh g^(-1) at 0.1Ag^(-1),and excellent rate performance with a reversible capacity of 236.4mAh g^(-1) at 2Ag^(-1) after 1200 ***,full cell assembled with NS-CNs as the can present 230mAh g^(-1) at 0.5Ag^(-1) after 150 ***,in/ex situ techniques confirm that the excellent sodium storage properties of NS-CNs are due to the construction of abundant active sites based on the novel synthesis method for realizing the reversible adsorption of Na^(+).This work provides a novel strategy to develop novel carbons and gives deep insights for the further investigation of facile preparation methods to develop high-performance carbon anodes for alkali-ion batteries.

Sometimes user has the requirement to run a high bandwidth application over a low bandwidth network. But its implementation is not easy as the traditional network transmits data with only one path where its bandwidth is lower than the demand. Although the current network technology like SDN has the ability to precisely control the data transmission in the network, but till now the standard openflow protocol does not support splitting one flow to multiple flows. In this paper, a flow splitting algorithm is proposed. The algorithm splits a data flow to multiple sub-flows by extending the openflow protocol. A multiple paths routing algorithm is also proposed to implement the multi-path parallel transmission in the paper. The algorithm selects multiple paths and minimizes the cost of transmission under the constraint of maximum delay and delay variance. The simulations show the algorithms can significantly improve the transmission performance.

Based on horizontal continuous casting with a heating-cooling combined mold （HCCM） technology, this article investigated the effects of processing parameters on the liquid-solid interface （LSI） position and the influence of LSI position on the surface quality, microstructure, texture, and mechanical properties of a BFe10-1-1 tube （φ50 mm × 5 mm）. HCCM efficiently improves the temperature gradient in front of the LSI. Through controlling the LSI position, the radial columnar-grained microstructure that is commonly generated by cooling mold casting can be eliminated, and the axial columnar-grained microstructure can be obtained. Under the condition of 1250℃ melting and holding temperature, 1200-1250℃ mold heating temperature, 50-80 mm/min mean drawing speed, and 500-700 L/h cooling water flow rate, the LSI position is located at the middle of the transition zone or near the entrance of the cooling section, and the as-cast tube not only has a strong axial columnar-grained microstructure （{hkl}〈621〉, {hkl}〈221〉） due to strong axial heating conduction during solidification but also has smooth internal and external surfaces without cracks, scratches, and other macroscopic defects due to short solidified shell length and short contact length between the tube and the mold at high temperature. The elongation and tensile strength of the tube are 46.0%-47.2% and 210-221 MPa, respectively, which can be directly used for the subsequent cold-large-strain processing.

The corrosion behavior of Ti60 alloy was investigated under continuous NaCl solution spraying at 600℃.Results indicate that the corrosion rate of the Ti60 alloy is lower than that obtained with the solid NaCl deposit film in HO+*** outer corrosion products are compact layers mainly containing NaTiOand nanocrystalline *** inner layer is mainly composed of TiO,Ti O and *** has a lamellar structure,and TiO has a strip-shaped structure.A mixed corrosion mechanism including classic oxidation and active oxidation occurred under NaCl solution spraying environment:the first stage was controlled by the classic oxidation mechanism with the promotion by the active oxidation following parabolic curves,and the second stage was controlled by the active oxidation mechanism following a linear rise in the mass gain *** mixed corrosion mechanism between classic oxidation and active oxidation produced a relatively dense Ti oxides scale,which decreased the corrosion rate.
