Various SARS-CoV-2-related coronaviruses have been increasingly identified in pangolins,showing a potential threat to *** we report the infectivity and pathogenicity of the SARS-CoV-2-related virus,PCoV-GX/P2V,which was isolated from a Malayan pangolin(Manis javanica).PCoV-GX/P2V could grow in human hepatoma,colorectal adenocarcinoma cells,and human primary nasal epithelial *** replicated more efficiently in cells expressing human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(hACE2)as SARS-CoV-2 *** intranasal inoculation to the hACE2-transgenic mice,PCoV-GX/P2V not only replicated in nasal turbinate and lungs,but also caused interstitial pneumonia,characterized by infiltration of mixed inflammatory cells and multifocal alveolar *** population immunity established by SARS-CoV-2 infection and vaccination may not protect people from PCoV-GX/P2V *** findings further verify the hACE2 utility of PCoV-GX/P2V by in vivo experiments using authentic viruses and highlight the importance for intensive surveillance to prevent possible cross-species transmission.

Dear Editor,While most of the patients infected with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)cleared the virus within a few weeks of infection,some people have a persistent infection or persistent shedding viral RNA in the long *** persistent detection of viral RNA in clinical specimens is unlikely to reflect either relapse or reinfection in most cases because the replication-competent virus is generally not recoverable after ten days following symptom onset in mild to moderate cases of COVID-191 and after 20 days in severe or immunocompromised cases.

BSTFNet:An Encrypted Malicious Traffic Classification Method Integrating Global Semantic and Spatiotemporal Features

While encryption technology safeguards the security of network communications,malicious traffic also uses encryption protocols to obscure its malicious *** address the issues of traditional machine learning methods relying on expert experience and the insufficient representation capabilities of existing deep learning methods for encrypted malicious traffic,we propose an encrypted malicious traffic classification method that integrates global semantic features with local spatiotemporal features,called BERT-based Spatio-Temporal Features Network(BSTFNet).At the packet-level granularity,the model captures the global semantic features of packets through the attention mechanism of the Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers(BERT)*** the byte-level granularity,we initially employ the Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit(BiGRU)model to extract temporal features from bytes,followed by the utilization of the Text Convolutional Neural Network(TextCNN)model with multi-sized convolution kernels to extract local multi-receptive field spatial *** fusion of features from both granularities serves as the ultimate multidimensional representation of malicious *** approach achieves accuracy and F1-score of 99.39%and 99.40%,respectively,on the publicly available USTC-TFC2016 dataset,and effectively reduces sample confusion within the Neris and Virut *** experimental results demonstrate that our method has outstanding representation and classification capabilities for encrypted malicious traffic.

A vortex-induced vibration(VIV)experiment of rough risers with coupling interference effect under a side-by-side arrangement was carried out in a wave-current combined *** roughness of the riser was characterized by arranging different specifications of surface attachments on the surface of the *** risers with three different roughnesses were arranged side by side with smooth risers to explore the VIV response of the riser under the combined action of roughness and interference effect,and to reveal the coupling mechanism between roughness and interference *** experimental results show that,compared with that of a smooth riser,the VIV of a rough riser under the coupling interference effect has a wider"lock-in"region,and the displacement decreases more significantly at a high reduced velocity,which is more likely to excite higher-order modes and frequency *** addition,the displacement response and frequency response of the smooth riser are not significantly affected by wake interference from the rough riser,which is caused by the decrease of the wake region due to the delay of the boundary layer separation point of the rough riser.

Harpoon-shaped topological photonic crystal for on-chip beam splitter

The advancement of integrated optical communication networks necessitates the deployment of on-chip beam splitters for efficient signal interconnections at network nodes. However, the pursuit of micron-scale beam splitting with large corners and reducing the device footprint to boost connection flexibility often results in phase mismatches. These mismatches, which stem from radiation modes and backward scattering, pose significant obstacles in creating highly integrated and interference-resistant connections. To address this, we introduce a solution based on the topological valley-contrasting state generated by photonic crystals with opposing valley Chern numbers, manifested in a harpoon-shaped structure designed to steer the splitting *** approach enables adiabatic mode field evolution over large corners, capitalizing on the robust phase modulation capabilities and topological protection provided by the subwavelength-scale valley-contrasting state. Our demonstration reveals that beam splitters with large corners of 60°, 90°, and 120°exhibit insertion loss fluctuations below 2.7 dB while maintaining a minimal footprint of 8.8μm×8.8μm. As a practical demonstration, these devices facilitate three-channel signal connections, successfully transmitting quadrature phase shift keying signals at 3.66 Tbit/s with bit error rates below the forward error correction threshold, demonstrating performance comparable to that in defects scenarios. By harnessing the unidirectional excitation feature, we anticipate significant enhancements in the capabilities of signal distribution and connection networks through a daisy chain configuration.

推动需求侧管理与供给侧结构性改革的有效协同,是理论界和实践界关注的重要议题。本文在人口结构变化和消费观念变迁的背景下,挖掘新生代消费升级的复杂特征,识别企业开展“共情驱动的创新”的表现形式,探究新生代消费升级如何影响企业共情驱动的创新。通过深度访谈和探索性多案例研究发现,新生代消费升级体现为消费能力升级、消费内容升级和消费方式升级,呈现出价格敏感性下降、消费频次增加、注重消费内容的精神属性和非基础属性,以及高技术嵌入和消费圈层化等特征。企业共情驱动的创新包括:基于认知共情和情感共情,对需求进行理解和挖掘;基于观点采择和用户体验,设计原型产品并进行分层测试;基于情绪感染和情感依恋,进行“种草”推广和用户留存。新生代消费升级对共情驱动的创新具有激励作用,具体通过“潜在收益激发效应”“问题激发效应”和“适应性匹配效应”促进企业共情驱动的创新。本文在引入消费的代际差异、提出新的创新方式、厘清“需求-创新”的影响关系三方面拓展和丰富了需求引致创新理论,同时对企业洞察消费升级特征、把握消费升级新机遇、加强供给侧创新引领具有启示意义。
