Medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw(MRONJ)is primarily associated with administering antiresorptive or antiangiogenic drugs.Despite significant research on MRONJ,its pathogenesis and effective treatments are still not fully understood.Animal models can be used to simulate the pathophysiological features of MRONJ,serving as standardized in vivo experimental platforms to explore the pathogenesis and therapies of MRONJ.Rodent models exhibit excellent effectiveness and high reproducibility in mimicking human MRONJ,but classical methods cannot achieve a complete replica of the pathogenesis of MRONJ.Modified rodent models have been reported with improvements for better mimicking of MRONJ onset in clinic.This review summarizes representative classical and modified rodent models of MRONJ created through various combinations of systemic drug induction and local stimulation and discusses their effectiveness and efficiency.Currently,there is a lack of a unified assessment system for MRONJ models,which hinders a standard definition of MRONJ-like lesions in rodents.Therefore,this review comprehensively summarizes assessment systems based on published peer-review articles,including new approaches in gross observation,histological assessments,radiographic assessments,and serological assessments.This review can serve as a reference for model establishment and evaluation in future preclinical studies on MRONJ.

经贸合作是“一带一路”建设的基础和先导。共建“一带一路”倡议提出以来,中国与“一带一路”共建国家在对外贸易、外国直接投资和对外经济合作方面取得显著成效,并呈现出融合发展的特征。文章剖析了中国与“一带一路”共建国家“三外融合”发展的主要驱动因素,并归纳中国与“一带一路”不同区域国家“三外融合”的发展特征,最后总结了“三外融合”带动中国与“一带一路”共建国家经贸合作的发展成效。在此基础上提出中国与共建国家的合作建议:进一步发挥驱动“三外融合”发展的积极因素,以“一国一策”促进“一带一路”经贸合作高质量发展。

The restoration of bone defects caused by osteoporosis remains a challenge for surgeons.Strontium ranelate has been applied in preventative treatment approaches due to the biological functions of the trace element strontium(Sr).In this study,we aimed to fabricate bioactive scaffolds through Sr incorporation based on our previously developed modified amino-functional mesoporous bioactive glass(MBG)and to systematically investigate the bioactivity of the resulting scaffold in vitro and in vivo in an osteoporotic rat model.The results suggested that Sr-incorporated amino-functional MBG scaffolds possessed favorable biocompatibility.Moreover,with the incorporation of Sr,osteogenic and angiogenic capacities were upregulated in vitro.The in vivo results showed that the Sr-incorporated amino-functional MBG scaffolds achieved better bone regeneration and vessel formation.Furthermore,bioinformatics analysis indicated that the Sr-incorporated amino-functional MBG scaffolds could reduce reactive oxygen species levels in bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells in the osteoporotic model by activating the cAMP/PKA signaling pathway,thus playing an anti-osteoporosis role while promoting osteogenesis.This study demonstrated the feasibility of incorporating trace elements into scaffolds and provided new insights into biomaterial design for facilitating bone regeneration in the treatment of osteoporosis.

Dynamic Changes in Endogenous Hormones in Rhododen- dron simsii Floral Organs

This study was conducted to investigate the dynamic changes of several hormones in Rhododendron simsii floral organs to provide theoretical basis for controlling its flowering period. A R. simsii variety ＂Purple Crane＂ was selected as the experimental material, and its flower organs were sampled at nine floral developmental stages to measure the contents of gibberellic acid-3 （GA3 ）, abscisic acid （ABA）, indole-3-acetic acid （IAA）, and zeatin riboside （ZR） through enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay （ELISA）. The results showed that the content of ZR was highest at full flowering stage; IAA and GA3 contents were higher than other stages in the process of flower bud differentiation and flowering. ABA played an important role in the regulation of flower bud formation. The results will provide theoretical references for exploring the regulation of plant hormones towards Rhododendron flower traits and breeding new varieties.

Excitonic devices based on two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides van der Waals heterostructures

Excitonic devices are an emerging class of technology that utilizes excitons as carriers for encoding, transmitting, and storing information. Van der Waals heterostructures based on transition metal dichalcogenides often exhibit a type II band alignment, which facilitates the generation of interlayer excitons. As a bonded pair of electrons and holes in the separation layer, interlayer excitons offer the chance to investigate exciton transport due to their intrinsic out-of-plane dipole moment and extended exciton lifetime. Furthermore, interlayer excitons can potentially analyze other encoding strategies for information processing beyond the conventional utilization of spin and charge. The review provided valuable insights and recommendations for researchers studying interlayer excitonic devices within van der Waals heterostructures based on transition metal dichalcogenides. Firstly, we provide an overview of the essential attributes of transition metal dichalcogenide materials, focusing on their fundamental properties, excitonic effects, and the distinctive features exhibited by interlayer excitons in van der Waals heterostructures. Subsequently, this discourse emphasizes the recent advancements in interlayer excitonic devices founded on van der Waals heterostructures, with specific attention is given to the utilization of valley electronics for information processing, employing the valley index. In conclusion, this paper examines the potential and current challenges associated with excitonic devices.

Sweet potato leaf tips have high nutritional value,and exploring the differences in the metabolic profiles of leaf tips among different sweet potato varieties can provide information to improve their qualities.In this study,a UPLC-Q-Exactive Orbitrap/MS-based untargeted metabolomics method was used to evaluate the metabolites in leaf tips of 32 sweet potato varieties.Three varieties with distinct overall metabolic profiles(A01,A02,and A03),two varieties with distinct profiles of phenolic acids(A20 and A18),and three varieties with distinct profiles of flavonoids(A05,A12,and A16)were identified.In addition,a total of 163 and 29 differentially expressed metabolites correlated with the color and leaf shape of sweet potato leaf tips,respectively,were identified through morphological characterization.Group comparison analysis of the phenotypic traits and a metabolite-phenotypic trait correlation analysis indicated that the color differences of sweet potato leaf tips were markedly associated with flavonoids.Also,the level of polyphenols was correlated with the leaf shape of sweet potato leaf tips,with lobed leaf types having higher levels of polyphenols than the entire leaf types.The findings on the metabolic profiles and differentially expressed metabolites associated with the morphology of sweet potato leaf tips can provide useful information for breeding sweet potato varieties with higher nutritional value.

骨质疏松(osteoporosis,OP)是一种常见的全身性骨骼代谢性疾病,可导致骨质脆性增加和骨折倾向,危害个人健康,加重社会公共医疗卫生负担。关于OP的科学研究离不开OP动物模型的构建,目前造模方法主要包括诱导建模和基因工程建模两类。诱导建模包括手术诱导、药物诱导、饮食诱导、失用性诱导等,常用动物包括大鼠、小鼠、兔、羊、猪、狗、斑马鱼和非人类灵长类动物。基因工程建模则多通过基因编辑技术将外源性基因插入动物基因组或对动物自身基因进行突变、敲除、过表达等使得动物具有骨质疏松特性,目前常用动物有小鼠和斑马鱼。不同的动物模型和建模方法各具优缺点,应综合考虑具体研究目的和关键科学问题,建立最合适的OP动物模型。笔者主要对目前各种骨质疏松动物建模方法及应用进行汇总梳理,以期为日后OP发病机制探索、药物筛选、防治手段等研究建模和实验设计提供参考。
