In the digitalization context,a financial shared services center(FSSC)is designed to engage quality management in providing standardized financial shared services and risk control,completing the fundamental financial work,and offering value-added financial services to customers.The means that all these services are delivered has drawn attention from both theoretical and practical communities.Yet few researches has been conducted so far in this regard.Based on the Grounded Theory research method,this paper looks at the related quality management methods and summarizes findings in financial shared services centers,based on the case study of HX Financial Shared Services Center.This paper also analyzes FSSC definition,FSSC quality management,digitalization applied in FSSC quality management,and FSSC e-quality management development in this digitalization context.This paper can serve as references to counterparts engaging in FSSC quality management and to supplement the prevailing theories on FSSC quality management application.

CircularRNAs(circRNAs)are a class of single-stranded,closedRNAmolecules with unique functions that are ubiquitously expressed in all eukaryotes.The biogenesis of circRNAs is regulated by specific cis-acting elements and trans-acting factors in humans and animals.circRNAs mainly exert their biological functions by acting as microRNA sponges,forming R-loops,interacting with RNA-binding proteins,or being translated into polypeptides or proteins in human and animal cells.Genome-wide identification of circRNAs has been performedin multiple plant species,and the results suggest that circRNAs are abundant and ubiquitously expressed in plants.There is emerging compelling evidence to suggest that circRNAs play essential roles during plant growthanddevelopment as well as inthe responses to bioticandabiotic stress.However,compared with recent advances in human and animal systems,the roles of most circRNAs in plants are unclear at present.Here we review the identification,biogenesis,function,and mechanism of action of plant circRNAs,which will provide a fundamental understanding of the characteristics and complexity of circRNAs in plants.

The fifth generation(5G)of wireless networks features three core use cases,namely ultra-reliable and low latency communications(URLLC),massive machine type communications(mMTC),and enhanced mobile broadband(eMBB).These use cases co-exist in many practical scenarios and compete for the same set of time and frequency resources,resulting in a natural trade-off in their performance.In this paper,a network supporting both URLLC and eMBB modes of operation is studied.To guarantee the ultra low latency requirement of URLLC,a dynamic resource allocation scheme indicated by a two-dimensional bitmap is proposed.This approach is capable to achieve finer granularity as well as lower false cancellation rate compared to the state-of-the-art methods.A novel power control and indication method is also proposed to dynamically provide different power control parameters to the user equipment(UE),while guaranteeing the reliability requirement of URLLC and minimizing the impact to eMBB.In addition,we devise a dynamic selection mechanism(DSM)to accommodate diverse scenarios,which is empowered with load prediction to become more intelligent.Our extensive system-level simulation results for eMBB-URLLC co-existence scenarios showcase that the perceived throughput of eMBB UEs is increased by 45.3%,while about 13.3% more UEs are enjoying URLLC services with at most 84% transmit power savings compared to the state-of-the-art methods.

Monolayer transition-metal dichalcogenides possess rich excitonic physics and unique valley-contrasting optical selection rule,and offer a great platform for long spin/valley lifetime engineering and the associated spin/valleytronics exploration.Using two-color time-resolved Kerr rotation and time-resolved reflectivity spectroscopy,we investigate the spin/valley dynamics of different excitonic states in monolayer WSe_(2)grown by molecular beam epitaxy.With fine tuning of the photon energy of both pump and probe beams,the valley relaxation process for the neutral excitons and trions is found to be remarkably different-their characteristic spin/valley lifetimes vary from picoseconds to nanoseconds,respectively.The observed long trion spin lifetime of>2.0 ns is discussed to be associated with the dark trion states,which is evidenced by the photon-energy dependent valley polarization relaxation.Our results also reveal that valley depolarization for these different excitonic states is intimately connected with the strong Coulomb interaction when the optical excitation energy is above the exciton resonance.

Developing multi-functional and low-cost noble-metal-free catalysts such as transition metal phosphides(TMPs)to replace noble-metal is of practical significance for energy conversion and storage.However,the low-durability and the agglomeration phenomenon during the electrochemical process limit their practical applications.Herein,using metal–organic frameworks(MOFs)as the precursor and a combined strategy of gradient temperature calcination and thermal phosphorization,a 0D/2D heterostructure of NiCoFe-P quantum dots(QDs)anchored on porous carbon was successfully developed as highly efficient electrode materials for overall water splitting and supercapacitors.Owing to this distinctive 0D/2D heterostructure and the synergistic effect of multi-metallic TMPs,the NiCoFe-P/C exhibits excellent electrocatalytic activity and durability of HER(87 mV at 10 mA cm^(-2))and OER(257 mV at 100 mA cm^(-2))in the KOH electrolyte.When NiCoFe-P/C is used as the two electrodes of electrolyzed water,only 1.55 V can drive the current density to 10 m A cm^(-2).At the same time,our NiCoFe-P/C possessed extraordinary property for charge storage.In particular,an ultra-high energy density of 100.8 Wh kg^(-1) was achieved at a power density of 900.0 W kg^(-1) for our assembled hybrid supercapacitor device NiCoFe-P/C(2:1)//activated carbon(AC).This work may open a potential way for the design of 0D/2D hybrid multifunctional nanomaterials based on TMPs QDs.

The demanding objectives for the future sixth generation(6G)of wireless communication networks have spurred recent research efforts on novel materials and radio-frequency front-end architectures for wireless connectivity,as well as revolutionary communication and computing paradigms.Among the pioneering candidate technologies for 6G belong the reconfigurable intelligent surfaces(RISs),which are artificial planar structures with integrated electronic circuits that can be programmed to manipulate the incoming electromagnetic field in a wide variety of functionalities.Incorporating RISs in wireless networks have been recently advocated as a revolutionary means to transform any wireless signal propagation environment to a dynamically programmable one,intended for various networking objectives,such as coverage extension and capacity boosting,spatiotemporal focusing with benefits in energy efficiency and secrecy,and low electromagnetic field exposure.Motivated by the recent increasing interests in the field of RISs and the consequent pioneering concept of the RIS-enabled smart wireless environments,in this paper,we overview and taxonomize the latest advances in RIS hardware architectures as well as the most recent developments in the modeling of RIS unit elements and RIS-empowered wireless signal propagation.We also present a thorough overview of the channel estimation approaches for RIS-empowered communications systems,which constitute a prerequisite step for the optimized incorporation of RISs in future wireless networks.Finally,we discuss the relevance of the RIS technology in the latest wireless communication standards,and highlight the current and future standardization activities for the RIS technology and the consequent RIS-empowered wireless networking approaches.

Single-step-etched ultra-compact metamaterial grating coupler enabled by a hierarchical inverse design approach

With the concept of metamaterials introduced into integrated photonics,subwavelength structures have gained popularity for their ability to create devices with ultra-compact size,high performance,and versatile functionalities.However,traditional metamaterial design methods are usually based on empirical templates and physical approximations,lacking the ability to design free-form metamaterial structures and optimize entire devices globally.In this work,we propose a hierarchical inverse design approach that combines a conventional effective refractive index based metamaterial structures design with a follow-up global topology optimization.The empirical metamaterial grating coupler design based on effective refractive index engineering faces inaccurate index extraction and insufficient approximation of wavevector matching conditions,which deteriorates coupling efficiency,especially for fully-etched devices with the decreased tapering region.Fortunately,a subsequent overall topology optimization step can well compensate for the negative effect of the shrinking device footprint to increase the efficiency of the metamaterial grating coupler.We demonstrate a 23μm×10μm ultra-compact metamaterial grating coupler with single-stepetched to couple light between a fiber and a 500 nm single-mode silicon waveguide in the O-band.Experimental measurement shows an insertion loss of 3.17 dB and a 3 dB bandwidth of 77 nm,making it the smallest footprint device ever reported.

The 6th generation(6G)wireless networks will likely to support a variety of capabilities beyond communication,such as sensing and localization,through the use of communication networks empowered by advanced technologies.Integrated sensing and communication(ISAC)has been recognized as a critical technology as well as a usage scenario for 6G,as widely agreed by leading global standardization bodies.ISAC utilizes communication infrastructure and devices to provide the capability of sensing the environment with high resolution,as well as tracking and localizing moving objects nearby.Meeting both the requirements for communication and sensing simultaneously,ISAC-based approaches celebrate the advantages of higher spectral and energy efficiency compared to two separate systems to serve two purposes,and potentially lower costs and easy deployment.A key step towards the standardization and commercialization of ISAC is to carry out comprehensive field trials in practical networks,such as the 5th generation(5G)networks,to demonstrate its true capacities in practical scenarios.In this paper,an ISAC-based outdoor multi-target detection,tracking and localization approach is proposed and validated in 5G networks.The proposed system comprises of 5G base stations(BSs)which serve nearby mobile users normally,while accomplishing the task of detecting,tracking,and localizing drones,vehicles,and pedestrians simultaneously.Comprehensive trial results demonstrate the relatively high accuracy of the proposed method in practical outdoor environment when tracking and localizing single targets and multiple targets.

High Altitude Platform(HAP)systems comprise airborne base stations deployed above 20 km and below 50 km to provide wireless access to devices in large areas.In this paper,two types of applications using HAP systems:one with HAP Station(HAPS)and the other with HAPS as International Mobile Telecommunication(IMT)Base Station(HIBS)are introduced.The HAP system with HAPS has already received wide recognition from the academia and the industry and is considered as an effective solution to provide internet access between fixed points in suburban and rural areas as well as emergencies.HAP systems with HIBS to serve IMT user terminal have just started to draw attention from researchers.The HIBS application is expected to be an anticipate mobile service application complementing the IMT requirement for cell phone or other mobile user terminals in which the service field of HAPS application cannot reach.After describing and characterizing the two types of systems,coexistence studies and simulation results using both the Power Fluxed Density(PFD)mask and separation distance based methods are presented in this paper.This paper also predicts future trends of the evolution paths for the HAP systems along with challenges and possible solutions from the standpoint of system architectures and spectrum regulation.

Recent years have witnessed a rapid development of deformable devices and epidermal electronics that are in urgent request for flexible batteries.The intrinsically soft and ductile conductive electrode materials can offer pivotal hints in extending the lifespan of devices under frequent deformation.Featuring inherent liquidity,metal-licity,and biocompatibility,Ga-based room-temperature liquid metals(GBRTLMs)are potential candidates to fulfill the requirement of soft batteries.Herein,to illustrate the glamour of liquid components,high-temperature liquid metal batteries(HTLMBs)are briefly summarized from the aspects of principle,application,advantages,and drawbacks.Then,Ga-based liquid metals as main working electrodes in primary and secondary batteries are reviewed in terms of battery configurations,working mechanisms,and fiinctions.Next,Ga-based liquid metals as auxiliary working electrodes in lithium and nonlithium batteries are also discussed,which work as functional self-healing additives to alleviate the degradation and enhance the durability and capacity of the battery system.After that,Ga-based liquid metals as interconnecting electrodes in multi-scenarios including photovoltaics solar cells,generators,and supercapacitors(SCs)are interpreted,respectively.The summary and perspective of Ga-based liquid metals as diverse battery materials are also focused on.Finally,it was suggested that tremendous endeavors are yet to be made in exploring the innovative battery chemistry,inherent reaction mechanism,and multifunctional integration of Ga-based liquid metal battery systems in the coining future.
