Influence rule of downtime on heat transfer in converters

The models for calculating the heat transfer in converters allow the accurate control of heat dissipation caused by downtime,and thus help in crease scrap ratio and reduce energy consumptio *** 17 was used to establish such a model to analyse the coupling law between the downtime and heat dissipation of the converter and the temperature drop of molten *** was measured by infrared detection,and model accuracy was verified by comparative *** variation law of the amount of cold charge added for different downtimes under different process conditions was *** results show that the range of the variation of heat dissipation caused by downtime is 8.9-78.5 *** the downtime increases by 30 min,heat dissipation of dephosphorisation(deP)and decarburisation(deC)converters increases by about 23.4 and 41.3 GJ,*** a certain smelting cycle,the temperature drop of the molten iron for deP,deC and conventional converters increases by about 12.5,15.0 and 17.0 K,respectively;and the amount of scrap added in the double-linking and conventional smelting processes decreases by 0.93 and 0.75%,respectively.

Na3V2（PO4）3（NVP） is regarded as alternative cathode material for sodium-ion batteries（SIBs） due to its potential high-rate performance and pronounced long-term cycle stability. However, electronic conductivity and tap density are difficult to be balanced. Herein, we report that high-temperature shock（HTS） can prepare “single crystalline like” NVP which combines high-rate capability with high tap density together into one with the assistance of carbon framework and large particle. Thus, high reversible capacity of 110m Ah/g at 0.1 C with 89.9% capacity retention after 1600 cycles at 1 C and specific capacity of 83.5 m Ah/g at 50 C rate has been exhibited. This study provides a novel strategy to guide the production of high tap density, and rate performance polyanionic cathode materials.

Schottky mass spectrometry utilizing heavy-ion storage rings is a powerful technique for the precise mass and decay half-life measurements of highly charged *** to the nondestructive ion detection features of Schottky noise detectors,the number of stored ions in the ring is determined by the peak area in the measured revolution frequency *** of their intrinsic amplitude-frequency characteristic(AFC),Schottky detector systems exhibit varying sensitivities at different *** low-energy electron-cooled stored ions,a new method is developed to calibrate the AFC curve of the Schottky detector system of the Experimental Cooler Storage Ring(CSRe)storage ring located in Lanzhou,*** the amplitude-calibrated frequency spectrum,a notable refinement was observed in the precision of both the peak position and peak *** a result,the storage lifetimes of the electron-cooled fully ionized^(56)Fe^(26+)ions were determined with high precision at beam energies of 13.7 and 116.4 MeV/u,despite of frequency drifts during the *** electron cooling was turned off,the effective vacuum condition experienced by the 116.4 MeV/u^(56)Fe^(26+)ions was determined using amplitude-calibrated spectra,revealing a value of 2×10^(−10)mbar,which is consistent with vacuum gauge readings along the CSRe *** method reported herein will be adapted for the next-generation storage ring of the HIAF facility under construction in Huizhou,*** can also be adapted to other storage ring facilities worldwide to improve precision and enhance lifetime measurements using many ions in the ring.

17α-methyltestosterone(17α-MT)is an emerging pollutant,which is harmful to the endocrine system and reproduction of *** investigated the effects of different concentrations of 17α-MT(0,5,30,60,and 100 mg/kg)on endoplasmic reticulum stress(ERS)and apoptosis in the liver of Takifugu *** show that:(1)with the increase of 17α-MT treatment concentration,liver transaminases(alanine aminotransferase;aspartate aminotransferase)and the mRNA expression of ERS marker genes(glucose-regulated protein 78;calreticulin)of *** were significantly increased compared with the control group(P<0.05);(2)the activity of succinate dehydrogenase(SDH),Caspase3 and Caspase9 in the liver of *** increased with the increase of 17α-MT concentration compared with the control group(P<0.05);(3)by using 4-phenylbutyricacid(4-PBA)inhibitors to stimulate ERS through in vitro experiments,the expression of ERS and apoptosis-related genes significantly decreased(P<0.05),and the apoptosis rate of *** hepatocytes was significantly inhibited(P<0.05)under 17α-MT *** study confirmed that ERS played an important role in the induction of apoptosis in the hepatocytes of ***,which enriched the ecotoxicological information of environmental androgens.

In this paper, we investigate a multi-UAV aided NOMA communication system, where multiple UAV-mounted aerial base stations are employed to serve ground users in the downlink NOMA communication, and each UAV serves its associated users on its own bandwidth. We aim at maximizing the overall common throughput in a finite time period. Such a problem is a typical mixed integer nonlinear problem,which involves both continuous-variable and combinatorial optimizations. To efficiently solve this problem, we propose a two-layer algorithm, which separately tackles continuous-variable and combinatorial optimization. Specifically, in the inner layer given one user association scheme, subproblems of bandwidth allocation, power allocation and trajectory design are solved based on alternating optimization. In the outer layer, a small number of candidate user association schemes are generated from an initial scheme and the best solution can be determined by comparing all the candidate schemes. In particular, a clustering algorithm based on K-means is applied to produce all candidate user association schemes, the successive convex optimization technique is adopted in the power allocation subproblem and a logistic function approximation approach is employed in the trajectory design subproblem. Simulation results show that the proposed NOMA scheme outperforms three baseline schemes in downlink common throughput, including one solution proposed in an existing literature.

Fungi are known to be crucial in the formation and stabilization of soil organic matter through their exudates and dead residues(necromass).Yet,it remains unclear how fungi contribute to the persistence of carbon in soils over millennial scales across ***,this study fills the knowledge gap by linking fungal carbon stocks with minerals-associated carbon stocks across major biomes.A strong correlation between fungal biomass and reactive mineral-associated carbon stocks in soils across six biomes supports the substantial role of fungi in soil carbon persistence at the global *** spatial resolution nanoscale secondary ion mass spectrometry revealed that fungi may stabilize carbon by forming organo-mineral associations through their close physical connection to reactive minerals and weathered *** propose a conceptual model that emphasizes the dualistic role of hypha-mineral interactions:(i)fungi accelerate organic matter decomposition by producing reactive oxygen species on the hypha-mineral interfaces,and(ii)fungi stabilize their residues on mineral surfaces,leading to millennial scale persistence of soil ***,fungi play a fundamental role in ecosystems that extends beyond the decomposition of persistent *** are crucial in stabilizing carbon on mineral surfaces,thereby facilitating the long-term removal of carbon from rapid biotic cycling.
