An unacceptable increase in antibacterial resistance has arisen due to the abuse of multiple classes of broad-spectrum ***,it is significant to develop new antibacterial agents,especially those that can accurately identify and kill specific ***,we demonstrate a kind of perilla-derived carbon nanodots(CNDs),integrating intrinsic advantages of luminescence and photodynamic,providing the opportunity to accurately identify and kill specific *** CNDs have an exotic-doped andπ-conjugated core,vitalizing them near-infrared(NIR)absorption and emission properties with photoluminescence quantum yield of 21.1%;hydrophobic chains onto the surface of the CNDs make them to selectively stain Gram-positive bacteria by insertion into their *** to the strong absorption in NIR region,reactive oxygen species are in situ generated by the CNDs onto bacterial membranes under 660 nm irradiation,and 99.99%inactivation efficiency against Gram-positive bacteria within 5 min can be *** vivo results demonstrate that the CNDs with photodynamic antibacterial property can eliminate the inflammation of the area affected by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA),and enabling the wound to be cured quickly.

Despite of the relatively rare occurrence of alkaline igneous rocks on Earth, they are the most diverse group of igneous rocks due to variations in their mineral assemblages and geochemical compositions. Alkaline igneous rocks are generally characterized by Si undersaturation, and K-Na(and in some cases C) enrichment. Although there is no unified alkaline igneous rock classification scheme, diagrams such as total alkalis-SiO_(2) or K_(2)O-SiO_(2) can be used to classify alkaline igneous rocks. The origins of silica-saturated alkaline rocks(SiO_(2)>52 wt.%) are relatively complex because multiple episodes of magmatism are often involved, therefore most studies have focused on the origins of silica-undersaturated alkaline *** experimental petrological studies have been conducted in the past few decades. Initially, it was considered that enrichment of trace elements was only achieved by low-degree partial melting of mantle peridotite, but the experimental melts could not reproduce the geochemical composition of natural alkaline igneous rocks. Subsequent studies have focused on carbonate-bearing eclogites that represent the average component of subducted oceanic crust. Although experimental studies indicate that silica-undersaturated and alkali-oversaturated melts can be generated from eclogites, some studies have considered that natural silica-undersaturated alkaline igneous rocks are the result of multi-stage source enrichment by incompatible elements. Low-degree partial melts of the mantle can be emplaced in the lithospheric mantle, forming veins consisting of phlogopite, amphibole, and pyroxene. Melting experiments including these components show that the produced melts better reproduce the naturally occurring silica-undersaturated alkaline magmas. Silica-deficient alkaline igneous rocks occur in various tectonic settings. To comprehensively utilize the low-iron high-vanadium-titanium magnetite,a new method of vortex smelting reduction of vanadium-titanium magnetite was proposed,and the enrichment and reconstitution regularity of Ti-bearing phases in the slag was investigated through X-ray fluorescence spectrometry,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction analysis,and optical *** phase diagram revealed that the preferential crystallization of MgTi_(2)O_(5) can be achieved by adjusting the CaO,MgO,and TiO_(2) contents of *** predominant Ti-bearing phases in the slag obtained from the reduction process are MgxTi_(3_x)O_(5)(0≤x≤1)and CaTiO_(3).FeTiO_(3) is present at carbon-iron ratio(CR)=1.3,while MgTi_(2)O4 and TiC are formed at CR=*** enrichment of TiO_(2) in the slag increases first and then decreases as the CR increases,and at CR=1.1,the enrichment of TiO_(2) in the slag reaches 51.3 wt.%.Additionally,the concentrations of MgxTi_(3_x)O_(5)(0≤x≤1)and CaTiO_(3) in the slag,along with the grain width of MgxTi_(3_x)O_(5)(0≤x≤1),decrease with the increase in CR.

A passive neutron multiplicity measurement device, FH-NCM/S1, based on field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), is developed specifically for measuring the mass of plutonium-240 (Pu-240) in mixed oxide fuel. FH-NCM/S1 adopts an integrated approach, combining the shift register analysis mode with the pulse-position timestamp mode using an FPGA. The optimal effective length of the He-3 neutron detector was determined to be 30 cm, and the thickness of the graphite reflector was ascertained to be 15 cm through MCNP simulations. After fabricating the device, calibration measurements were performed using a Cf-252 neutron source; a detection efficiency of 43.07% and detector die-away time of 55.79 mu mu s were observed. Nine samples of plutonium oxide were measured under identical conditions using the FH-NCM/S1 in shift register analysis mode and a plutonium waste multiplicity counter. The obtained double rates underwent corrections for detection efficiency (epsilon) and double gate fraction (f(d)), resulting in corrected double rates (D-c), which were used to validate the accuracy of the shift register analysis mode. Furthermore, the device exhibited fluctuations in the measurement results, and within a single 20 s measurement, these fluctuations remained below 10%. After 30 cycles, the relative error in the mass of Pu-240 was less than 5%. Finally, correlation calculations confirmed the robust consistency of both measurement modes. This study holds specific significance for the subsequent design and development of neutron multiplicity devices.

Molecular Chaperone-Dependent Polymer Translocation through Nanopores: The Effects of Chaperone Concentration and Chaperone-Polymer Interaction

The polymer translocation through a nanopore from a donor space(or named cis side) to a receiver space(trans side) in the chaperone-induced crowded environment has attracted increasing attention in recent years due to its significance in biological systems and technological applications. In this work, we mainly focus on the effects of chaperone concentration and chaperone-polymer interaction on the polymer translocation. By assuming the polymer translocation to be a quasi-equilibrium process, the free energy F of the polymer can be estimated by Rosenbluth-Rosenbluth method and then the translocation time τ can be calculated by Fokker-Plank equation based on the obtained free energy landscape. Our calculation results show that the translocation time can be controlled by independently tuning the chaperone concentration and chaperone-polymer interaction at the cis side or the trans side. There exists a critical chaperone-polymer attraction ε~*=-0.2 at which the volume exclusion and interaction effects of the chaperone can balance each other. Additionally, we also find that at large chaperone-polymer attraction, the translocation time is mainly governed by the diffusion coefficient of the polymer.
