Interface bond degradation and damage characteristics of full-length grouted rock bolt in tunnels with high temperature

Full-length grouted bolts play a crucial role in geotechnical engineering thanks to their excellent ***,few studies have been concerned with the degrading performance of grouted rock bolts caused by extensive and continuous heat conduction from surrounding rocks in high-geothermal tunnels buried more than 100 m(temperature from 28C to 100C).To investigate the damage mechanism,we examined the time-varying behaviors of grouted rock bolts in both constant and variable temperature curing environments and their damage due to the coupling effects of high temperature and humidity through mechanical and micro-feature tests,including uniaxial compression test,pull-out test,computed tomography(CT)scans,X-ray diffraction(XRD)test,thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),etc.,and further analyzed the relationship between grout properties and anchorage *** order to facilitate a rapid assessment and control of the anchorage performance of anchors in different conditions,results of the interface bond degradation tests were correlated to environment parameters based on the damage model of interfacial bond stress ***,a thermal hazard classification criterion for anchorage design in high-geothermal tunnels was *** on the reported results,although high temperature accelerated the early-stage hydration reaction of grouting materials,it affected the distribution and quantity of hydration products by inhibiting hydration degree,thus causing mechanical damage to the anchorage *** was a significant positive correlation between the strength of the grouting material and the anchoring *** by the changes in grout properties,three failure patterns of rock bolts typically *** a hot-wet curing regime results in less reduction in anchorage force compared to the hot-dry curing *** findings of this study would contribute to the design and investigations of grouted rock bolts in high-geothermal tunnels.

The excitation wavelength-dependent and-independent emissions are two crucial fluorescent properties of carbon dots(CDs).However,CDs reported till date exhibit only one of these properties,which limits their practical ***,dual-property carbon dots(DCDs)with both the excitation wavelength-dependent and-independent emissions were synthesized via a facile onestep solvothermal method using 4-(2-pyridylazo)-resorcinol as the carbon *** multi-functional applications of the resulting DCDs were also *** asprepared DCDs exhibited not only excellent monodispersity,high photostability,and storage stability,but also low toxicity,good biocompatibility,and cellular bioimaging *** addition,the DCDs exhibited excitation-dependent emission photoluminescence under low excitation *** DCDs exhibited good Fe3+detection by quenching the blue emission fluorescence and showed a relatively low Fe3+detection limit of 0.067 lmol·L-1 based on three times signal-to-noise criteria(R2=0.99).Furthermore,the DCDs showed excitation-independent emission at low excitation wavelengths and exhibited red emission at about 598 nm to avoid damage to the *** results demonstrate the excellent bioimaging properties of the *** to their dual PL properties,the as-prepared DCDs exhibited multi-functional applications:Fe3+detection and A549 cell *** results will be helpful in developing novel CDs for applications in various fields.

Some remarkable FTIR spectral differences are observed and the differences at the molecular level are extracted between benign and malignant breast tissue samples. For the malignant tissue, the relative content of nucleic acids is increased whereas the collagen is decreased. The proteins are phosphorylated and become more flexible and disordered. And these significant differences have important implications not only for probing the process of the breast lesion at the molecular level, but also for evaluating the histological types and grades of breast diseases.

Small-molecular organic solar cells usually exhibited unsatisfactory device stability,which might originate from their molecular diffusion ***,based on the all-small-molecule system HD-1:BTP-eC9,we reported a dimerized acceptor DC9,and its corresponding monomer acceptor *** comparison with eOD,the dimeric acceptor DC9 displayed higher glass transition temperature(Tg)but reduced molecular planarity and *** all-small molecule blend utilizing HD-1:eOD demonstrated a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 15.13%,surpassing the value of 14.10%for the HD-1:DC9 ***,incorporating polymer donor PM6 into the HD-1:DC9 blend improved its morphology and charge transport dynamics,resulting in a device efficiency of over 16%,representing the rare case utilizing small-molecular donor and dimeric acceptor with PCE over 16%.Morphological characterization results affirmed that the surface morphologies and molecular packing behaviors of the blend films based on HD-1 were largely retained even after prolonged annealing and aging at 85℃.Consequently,the PCEs of the blend films based on HD-1:eOD,HD-1:DC9,and HD-1:PM6:DC9 consistently remained over 98%of their initial efficiency after 1000 h of thermal annealing aging at 85℃.These findings highlight the potential of small-molecular based active layer in the fabrication of efficient and stable OSCs.

Accumulating evidence supports the significance of aberrant alternative splicing(AS)events in cancer;however,genome-wide profiling of progression-free survival(PFS)-related AS events in testicular germ cell tumors(TGCT)has not been ***,we analyzed high-throughput RNA-sequencing data and percent-spliced-in values for 150 patients with *** univariate and multivariate Cox regression analysis and a least absolute shrinkage and selection operator method,we identified the top 15 AS events most closely associated with disease progression.A risk-associated AS score(ASS)for the 15 AS events was calculated for each ***,pathological stage,and T stage were significantly associated with disease progression by univariate analysis,but only ASS and pathological stage remained significant by multivariate *** ability of these variables to predict 5-year progression was assessed using receiver operating characteristic curve *** had stronger predictive value than a combination of age,pathological stage,and T stage(area under the curve=0.899 and 0.715,respectively).Furthermore,Kaplan—Meier analysis of patients with low and high ASS demonstrated that high ASS was associated with significantly worse PFS than low ASS(P=1.46 × 10^(-7)).We also analyzed the biological functions of the PFS-related AS-related genes and found enrichment in pathways associated with DNA repair and ***,we identified a regulatory network of splicing factors with expression levels that correlated significantly with AS events in ***,this study identifies a novel method for risk stratification of patients and provides insight into the molecular events underlying TGCT.

Investigating the spatiotemporal variation of human activity intensity and its determinants is a crucial basis for further revealing the mechanism of human-environment interaction and optimizing the human development *** this study,the human activity intensity on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau(QTP)from 1990 to 2020 was measured based on the quantitative model of land use data and the actual regional background,and the under-lying natural and socioeconomic determinants were investigated using spatial econometric *** results demonstrate that(1)the human activity intensity in QTP has increased by 11.96%,and there are differences in different spatial scales;the areas with high human activity intensity are distributed in the Hehuang Valley where Xining City and its surrounding areas are located,as well as the One-River and Two-River Area where Lhasa City and surrounding areas are located.(2)Human activity intensity has significant positive spatial spillover,suggesting that local changes will cause changes in the same direction in adjacent areas.(3)The human activ-ity intensity in QTP is affected by various *** socioeconomic factors,the economic level has no significant impact on the human activity intensity in QTP,which differs from the general regional *** urbanization and traffic conditions have a significant positive effect,and the impact intensity continues to *** natural factors,topographic relief has a significant positive effect;the impacts of temper-ature and vegetation coverage have changed from insignificant to a significant positive effect;the impacts of precipitation and river network density have not been verified;there is no linear relationship between altitude and human activity intensity in the entire QTP,while it exists in local ***,this study proposes three policy implications for the realization of a more harmonious human-environment relationship in QTP.

Three acceptor-donor-acceptor （A-D-A） small molecules DCAODTBDT, DRDTBDT and DTBDTBDT using dithieno[2,3-d：2＇,3＇-d＇]benzo[1,2-b：4,5-b＇]dithiophene as the central building block, octyl cyanoacetate, 3-octylrhodanine and thiobarbituric acid as the end groups were designed and synthesized as donor materials in solution-processed photovoltaic cells （OPVs）. The impacts of these different electron withdrawing end groups on the photophysical properties, energy levels, charge carrier mobility, morphologies of blend films, and their photovoltaic properties have been systematically investigated. OPVs device based on DRDTBDT gave the best power conversion efficiency （PCE） of 8.34%, which was significantly higher than that based on DCAODTBDT （4.83%） or DTBDTBDT （3.39%）. These results indicate that rather dedicated and balanced consideration of absorption, energy levels, morphology, mobility, etc. for the design of small-molecule-based OPVs （SM-OPVs） and systematic investigations are highly needed to achieve high performance for SM-OPVs.
