Aluminum is an attractive alternative fuel,but it burns very inefficiently due to the formation of a dense Al_(2)O_(3)layer which prevents O_(2)from diffusion to the surface of Al *** previous experiments,the combustion of millimeter-sized Al(mAl)particles in the fluidized bed has achieved a substantial increase in the combustion efficiency,but further improvements are still *** this study,the effects of reaction atmosphere on the fluidized combustion of mAl particles were *** experiments with different O_(2)/H_(2)O/CO_(2)concentrations were *** experimental results indicate that the combustion efficiency of mAl particles in fluidized bed increases as the mole fraction of O_(2),H_(2)O or CO_(2)increases,and the highest combustion efficiency can reach 38.7%.After the analysis of the oxide film on the surface of aluminum particles,it was found that it is easier to generate the unstableθ-Al_(2)O_(3)under CO_(2)atmosphere,and it is easier to generate the unstableγ-Al_(2)O_(3)andθ-Al_(2)O_(3)under H_(2)O *** unstable Al_(2)O_(3)film is more likely to be abraded in the fluidized bed,which leads to the effective improvement of the combustion efficiency.

The launch dynamics theory for multibody systems emerges as an innovative and efficacious approach for the study of launch dynamics, capable of addressing the challenges of complex modeling, diminished computational efficiency, and imprecise analyses of system dynamic responses found in the dynamics research of intricate multi-rigid-flexible body systems, such as self-propelled artillery. This advancement aims to enhance the firing accuracy and launch safety of self-propelled artillery. Recognizing the shortfall of overlooking the band engraving process in existing theories, this study introduces a novel coupling calculation methodology for the launch dynamics of a self-propelled artillery multibody system. This method leverages the ABAQUS subroutine interface VUAMP to compute the dynamic response of the projectile and barrel during the launch process of large-caliber self-propelled artillery. Additionally, it examines the changes in projectile resistance and band deformation in relation to projectile motion throughout the band engraving process. Comparative analysis of the computational outcomes with experimental data evidences that the proposed method offers a more precise depiction of the launch process of self-propelled artillery, thereby enhancing the accuracy of launch dynamics calculations for self-propelled artillery. Block copolymers(BCPs) with high Flory-Huggins parameter(χ) and balanced surface energy have aroused tremendous interest for ultra-small nanopatterns ***,high χ and balanced surface energy are generally *** fine tune of chain structure might be a useful way to achieve high χ and balanced surface *** realize this,the block copolymer with exactly uniform chain structure,i.e.,defined molecular structure,is highly desirable for accurately evaluating the phase ***,two kinds of discrete oligo ester-b-oligo olefin block copolymers with different chemical structures(oligo lactic acid-boligo olefin BCP,oLA_(n)-b-C_(m);oligo phenyl lactic acid-b-oligo olefin BCP,oPL_(n)-b-C_(m)) were modularly synthesized through iterative growth *** effect of chain structure on segregation strength and surface properties was quantitatively investigated using the discrete BCPs as precise *** the one hand,introducing rigid and nonpolar phenyl groups into oligo ester block has a negligible effect on the chemical incompatibility,as confirmed by the identical high χ values of oLA_(n)-b-C_(m) and oPL_(n)-b-C_(m)(χ_(oLA/C)=0.21 and χ_(oPL/C)=0.19).On the other hand,the incorporation of nonpolar phenyl groups creates balanced surface energy,that is,the high χ and balanced surface energy were simultaneously achieved by oPL_(n)-b-C_(m).Therefore,sub-10 nm perpendicular nanopatterns can be easily produced upon brief thermal treatment,demonstrating its potential application in semiconductor manufacturing with ultra-small feature *** discrete BCP can serve as a quantitative and exquisite model to study the critical contribution of chain structures on phase separation behavior,providing insightful understanding to facilitate the potential application in the chip process.

Development of energy-efficient lubricants is a way to reduce energy consumption for transportation,with the tendency to design molecules that are beneficial in reducing the viscosity of synthetic *** esters(OEEs),as a low-viscosity ester base oil,have characteristics such as simple synthesis and excellent lubrication effect;however,the application of OEEs in tribology field has rarely been *** objective of the present study is to investigate the effect of structure on the lubricating performance of OEEs and to develop a predictive model for OEEs based on quantitative structure‒property relationship(QSPR)through a combination of experiment and statistical *** showed that glycol chains contribute positively to lubrication with the ether functional groups increasing the sites of *** to branched-chain OEEs,straight-chain OEEs exhibited reduced wear,which was mainly due to the thicker adsorption film formed by the straight-chain ***,carbon films were detected on lightly worn surfaces,indicating that OEEs underwent oxidation during the friction *** on the results of principal component analysis(PCA)and partial least squares(PLS),it could be found that the predictive models of viscosity‒temperature performance,thermal stability performance,coefficient of friction(COF),and wear volume(WV)performed well and *** them,COF and WV can be best predicted with an R^(2) of about 0.90.

The substitution of Fe by Co in the 2:14:1 phase is an effective method to increase the Curie temperature and enhance the thermal stability of the Nd-Fe-B ***,the accumulation of Co ele ment at the grain boundaries(GBs) changes the GBs from nonmagnetic to ferromagnetic and causes the thinlayer GBs to become rare,In this paper,the method of diffusing Tb element was chosen to improve the microstructure and temperature stability of high-Co *** original sintered Nd_(28.5)Dy_(3)-CO_(x)e_(bal)M_(0.6)B_(i)(x=0,6 wt%,12 wt%;M = Cu,Al,Zr) magnets with different Co contents were diffused with Tb by grain boundary diffusion(GBD).After GBD,high-Co magnets exhibit more continuously distributed thin-layer GBs,and their thermal stability is significantly *** high-Co magnets(x=6 wt%),the absolute value of the temperature coefficient of coercivity decreases from 0.603%/K to0.508%/K in the temperature range of 293-413 K,that of remanence decreases from 0.099%/K to 0.091%/K,and the coercivity increases from 18.44 to 25.04 *** electron microscopy(TEM)characterization reveals that there are both the 1:2 phase and the amorphous phase in the high-Co magnet before and after GBD,EDS elemental analysis shows that Tb element is more likely to preferentially replace the rare earth elements in the 2:14:1 main phase than in the 1:2 phase and the amorphous *** concentration of Tb at the edge of the main phase is much higher than that in the 1:2phase and amorphous phase,which is beneficial to the improvement of the *** preferential replacement of Tb elements at the edge of the 2:14:1 phase and thin-layer GBs with a more continuous distribution are synergistically responsible for improving the thermal stability of high-Co *** study indicates that GBD is an effective method to improve the microstructure and thermal stability of high-Co magnets.

Effect of long reaction distance on gas composition from organic-rich shale pyrolysis under high-temperature steam environment

When high-temperature steam is used as a medium to pyrolyze organic-rich shale,water steam not only acts as heat transfer but also participates in the chemical reaction of organic matter pyrolysis,thus affecting the generation law and release characteristics of gas *** this study,based on a long-distance reaction system of organic-rich shale pyrolysis via steam injection,the effects of steam temperature and reaction distance on gas product composition are analyzed in depth and compared with other pyrolysis *** advantages of organic-rich shale pyrolysis via steam injection are then *** volume concentration of hydrogen in the gas product obtained via the steam injection pyrolysis of organic-rich shale is the highest,which is more than 60%.The hydrogen content increases as the reaction distance is extended;however,the rate of increase changes *** the reaction distance from 800 to 4000 mm increases the hydrogen content from 34.91%to 69.68%and from 63.13%to 78.61%when the steam temperature is 500℃ and 555℃,***,the higher the heat injection temperature,the smaller the reaction distance required to form a high concentration hydrogen pyrolysis environment(hydrogen concentration>60%).When the steam pyrolysis temperature is increased from 500℃ to 555℃,the reaction distance required to form a high concentration of hydrogen is reduced from 3800 to 800 *** with the direct retorting process,the volume concentration of hydrogen obtained from high-temperature steam pyrolysis of organic-rich shale is 8.82 and 10.72 times that of the commonly used Fushun and Kivite furnaces,*** pyrolysis of organic-rich shale via steam injection is a pyrolysis process in a hydrogen-rich environment.

Nanostructured silicon anodes have shown extraordinary lithium storage properties for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)but are usually achieved at low areal loadings(<1.5 mg·cm^(-2))with low areal *** sound electrochemical performance at high loading requires proportionally higher ion/electron currents and robust structural stability in the thicker ***,we report a three-dimensional(3D)printed silicon-graphene-carbon nanotube(3D-Si/G/C)electrode for simultaneously achieving ultrahigh areal/gravimetric capacities at high mass *** periodically arranged vertical channels and hierarchically porous filaments facilitate sufficient electrolyte infiltration and rapid ion diffusion,and the carbonaceous network provides excellent electron transport properties and mechanical integrity,thus endowing the printed 3D-Si/G/C electrode with fast electrochemical reaction kinetics and reversibility at high mass ***,the 3D-Si/G/C with high areal mass loading of 12.9 mg·cm^(-2) exhibits excellent areal capacity of 12.8 mAh·cm^(-2) and specific capacity of 1007 mAh·g^(-1),***-situ optical microscope and ex-situ scanning electron microscope(SEM)confirm that the hierarchically porous filaments with interconnected carbon skeletons effectively suppress the volume change of silicon and maintain stable micro-lattice architecture.A 3D printed 3D-Si/G/C-1||3D-LiFePO_(4)/G full cell holds excellent cyclic stability(capacity retention rate of 78%after 50 cycles)with an initial Coulombic efficiency(ICE)of 96%.This work validates the feasibility of 3D printing on constructing high mass loading silicon anode for practical high energy-density LIBs.
