In order to achieve the optimized design of a cased telescoped ammunition(CTA) interior ballistic design,a genetic algorithm was introduced into the optimal design of CTA interior ballistics with coupling the CTA interior ballistic model. Aiming at the interior ballistic characteristics of a CTA gun, the goal of CTA interior ballistic design is to obtain a projectile velocity as large as possible. The optimal design of CTA interior ballistic is carried out using a genetic algorithm by setting peak pressure, changing the chamber volume and gun powder charge density. A numerical simulation of interior ballistics based on a 35 mm CTA firing experimental scheme was conducted and then the genetic algorithm was used for numerical optimization. The projectile muzzle velocity of the optimized scheme is increased from 1168 m/s for the initial experimental scheme to 1182 m/s. Then four optimization schemes were obtained with several independent optimization processes. The schemes were compared with each other and the difference between these schemes is small. The peak pressure and muzzle velocity of these schemes are almost the same. The result shows that the genetic algorithm is effective in the optimal design of the CTA interior ballistics. This work will be lay the foundation for further CTA interior ballistic design.

This paper reviewed child behavior in Chinese residential landscapes. A field survey was used to investigate place characteristics, whereas fixed-point observation and visualization records were utilized to analyze child behavior. Children were then classified into two categories, namely, those with action capacity and those with little capacity. Based on the classification and comparative analysis of place characteristics, along with the quantitative and visualized analysis of child behavior, the relationship between these two aspects was determined, and the effect of spatial elements in the selected residential areas on such a relationship was clarified. Additionally, the designing of a comprehensive landscape space that satisfies children＇s needs was also discussed. The conclusions are as follows：（1） Waterside is the element that most significantly affects child behavior. Children who can act on their own prefer to play along the waterside. （2） Open spaces attract children with action capacity, whereas children with little capacity tend to choose more private spaces. （3） Despite the presence of facilities for various activities, an extremely open space or one that is separated by a road still affects child behavior. （4） A comprehensive space with a water landscape, fitness facilities, high accessibility, and a number of cultural events may significantly affect child behavior. Both types of children were found to enjoy a place with such characteristics. Therefore, the evaluation of residential landscape space should be intesrated with landscape design.

It is well known that femtosecond laser pulses can easily spontaneously induce deep-subwavelength periodic surface structures on transparent dielectrics but not on non-transparent ***,in this study,we demonstrate that using high-numerical-aperture 800 nm femtosecond laser direct writing with controlled pulse energy and scanning speed in the near-damage-threshold regime,polarization-dependent deep-subwavelength single grooves with linewidths of~180 nm can be controllably prepared on ***,the single-groove linewidth increases slightly with increase in the pulse energy and decrease in the scanning speed,whereas the single-groove depth significantly increases from~300 nm to~600 nm with decrease in the scanning speed,or even to over 1μm with multi-processing,indicating the characteristics of transverse clamping and longitudinal growth of such deep-subwavelength single *** dispersive spectroscopy composition analysis of the near-groove region confirms that single-groove formation tends to be an ultrafast,non-thermal ablation process,and the oxidized deposits near the grooves are easy to clean ***,the results,showing both the strong dependence of groove orientation on laser polarization and the occurrence of double-groove structures due to the interference of pre-formed orthogonal grooves,indicate that the extraordinary field enhancement of strong polarization sensitivity in the deep-subwavelength groove plays an important role in single-groove growth with high stability and collimation.

Ti-62A alloy plates with three different types of microstructure, fully equiaxed, bimodal, and Widmanstatten, were obtained by various heat treatments to investigate the effects of microstructure on the tensile and fracture properties at room temperature. The results reveal that Widmanstatten microstructure exhibits good damage tolerance behavior considering strength, fracture toughness, and fatigue crack growth behavior, while the bimodal microstructure shows good comprehensive properties considering the plasticity synthetically. Optical microscopy (OM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) microstructure analyses on fracture and fatigue crack path demonstrate that the dependence of mechanical properties and fatigue crack growth behavior on microstructural feature are attributed to the α lamellae width and the α colony size. © The Nonferrous Metals Society of China and Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2012.

A complex multiple flame structure is formed during the combustion of AP/HTPB base bleed *** AP monopropellant flame is concentrated in a thin zone above the burning surface of AP crystal to maintain self-sustained *** to the low temperature near the burning surface,the diffusion between the decomposition products of AP and the pyrolysis products of HTPB occurs,and a partly pre-mixed diffusion flame structure-leading edge flame(LEF)is *** effects of pressure,chemical reaction rate and AP particle size on diffusion flame structure in the range from 20 atm to 100 atm are *** Peclet number increases from 6.64 at 20 atm to 21.91 at 100 atm when AP particle size is 140 *** high temperature zone is blown away from the burning surface because the convective transport rate increases with the increase in Peclet *** chemical reaction rate is enhanced and the diffusion mixing is inhibited as Damkohler number *** chemical heat release is more concentrated and the chemical reaction zone becomes narrow when Damkohler number changes from 330 at20 atm to 4700 at 100 *** AP particle diameter is decreased to 60 mm,the diffusion time scale is reduced due to the reduced diffusion length *** the diffusion mixing is enhanced and a more pre-mixed flame is *** burning rate increases because the more pre-mixed heat release increases the heat feedback to the HTPB binder.
