RbC aggregation, deformation and adhesion to endothelium: Role of nitric oxide derived from L-Arginine and sodium nitroprusside

Red blood cells (RbCs) are the most abundant human blood cells. RbC aggregation and deformation strongly determine blood viscosity which impacts hemorheology and microcirculation. In turn, RbC properties depend on different endogenous and exogenous factors. One such factor is nitric oxide (NO), which is mainly produced by endothelial cells (EC) from L-arginine amino acid in the circulatory system. Since the mechanisms of the RbC-endothelium interplay are not clear up to date and considering its possible clinical importance, the aims of this study are to investigate in vitro: (1) The effect of L-arginine induced NO on RbC aggregation and adhesion to endothelium; (2) the NO effect on RbC aggregation and deformation induced by L-arginine and sodium nitroprusside without the presence of endothelium in the samples. The RbC aggregation and adhesion to a monolayer of EC were studied using optical tweezers (OT). The RbC deformability and aggregation without endothelium in the samples were studied using the flow chamber method and myrenne aggregometer. We confirmed that NO increases deformability and decreases aggregation of RbCs. We showed that the soluble guanylate cyclase pathway appears to be the only NO signaling pathway involved. In the samples with the endothelium, the "bell-shaped" dependence of RbC aggregation force on L-arginine concentration was observed, which improves our knowledge about the process of NO production by endothelium. Additionally, data related to L-arginine accumulation by endothelium were obtained: Necessity of the presence of extracellular L-arginine stated by other authors was put under question. In our study, NO decreased the RbC-endothelium adhesion, however, the tendency appeared to be weak and was not confirmed in another set of experiments. To our knowledge, this is the first attempt to measure the forces of RbC adhesion to endothelium monolayer with OT.

In this study,a calcium-phosphate coating was formed on a mg-mn-Ce alloy by the plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO).The antibiotic vancomycin,widely used in the treatment of infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus(***),was impregnated into the *** with vancomycin showed high bactericidal activity against *** mechanical and electrochemical properties of the formed coatings were studied,as well as in vitro cytotoxicity tests and in vivo tests on mature male rats were *** to SEm,EDS,XRD and XPS data,coatings had a developed morphology and contained hydroxyapatite,which indicates high *** analysis of roughness of coatings without and with vancomycin did not reveal any differences,confirming the high roughness of the *** electrochemical tests,an increase in corrosion resistance by more than two times after the application of PEO coatings was *** to the results of an in vivo study,after 28 days of the implantation of samples with calcium phosphate PEO coating and vancomycin,no signs of inflammation were observed,while an inflammatory reaction developed in the area of implantation of bare alloy,followed by *** release tests from the coatings show a sharp decrease in the concentration of the released antibiotic on day 7 and then a gradual decrease until day *** the experiment,no significant deviations in the condition and behavior of the animals were observed;clinical tests did not reveal a systemic toxic reaction.

FmHADP: Design of an Efficient Pre-Forensic Layer for mitigating Hybrid Attacks via Deep Learning Pattern Analysis

Network attack detection and mitigation require packet collection， pre-processing， feature analysis， classification， and post-processing. models for these tasks sometimes become complex or inefficient when applied to real-time data samples. To mitigate hybrid assaults， this study designs an efficient forensic layer employing deep learning pattern analysis and multidomain feature extraction. In this paper， we provide a novel multidomain feature extraction method using Fourier， Z， Laplace， Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT)， 1D Haar Wavelet， Gabor， and Convolutional Operations. Evolutionary method dragon fly optimisation reduces feature dimensionality and improves feature selection accuracy. The selected features are fed into VGGNet and GoogLeNet models using binary cascaded neural networks to analyse network traffic patterns， detect anomalies， and warn network administrators. The suggested model tackles the inadequacies of existing approaches to hybrid threats， which are growing more common and challenge conventional security measures. Our model integrates multidomain feature extraction， deep learning pattern analysis， and the forensic layer to improve intrusion detection and prevention systems. In diverse attack scenarios， our technique has 3.5% higher accuracy， 4.3% higher precision， 8.5% higher recall， and 2.9% lower delay than previous models.

QCD sum rule study of J^(P)=1^(±)exotic states with two heavy quarks in the molecular picture

In this study,the spectroscopic parameters of exotic molecular states composed of mesons containing two heavy quarks(scalar-axial and pseudoscalar-axial meson combinations)are investigated within the QCD sum *** findings reveal that molecular states containing charm quarks do not form bound states,whereas states with b-quarks can form exotic molecular *** observation has significant implications for understanding the structure of these exotic states.

A novel diurnal and seasonal variation analysis of bTEX in bengaluru urban area

In the urban atmosphere of bengaluru, various volatile organic compounds(VOCs), particularly benzene,Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Xylene(bTEX), have shown an increasing trend in concentration. The present research was conducted during summer and monsoon seasons, focusing on Kadubeesanahalli, a high-traffic area within the bengaluru metropolitan City. Hourly sample data was collected using a bTEX analyzer(model GC955-600) and subsequently transformed into daily, monthly, and seasonal values. The study revealed distinct patterns in benzene concentrations. benzene levels were lowest during the early morning hours, specifically from 1:00 *** 7:00 a.m.. Concentrations then increased from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and again from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.,corresponding to the morning and evening peak traffic hours. However, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., the concentration decreased due to reduced traffic levels. These diurnal variations in benzene concentration are influenced by meteorological parameters. Comparing the two seasons, higher concentrations of benzene, Ethylbenzene, and mP-xylene were observed during the summer season. This increase is attributed to the elevated temperatures during summer, which promote the vaporization of bTEX compounds. Conversely, lower bTEX concentrations were recorded during the monsoon season due to the wet deposition process. The observed positive correlation(r > 0.5) among bTEX parameters strongly suggests a common source, most likely originating from vehicular emissions.

In line with recent studies,where it has been shown that nanoﬂuids containing graphene have a stronger capacity to boost the heat transfer coefﬁcient with respect to ordinary nanoﬂuids,experiments have been conducted using water with cobalt ferrite/graphene *** particular,a circular channel made of copper subjected to a constant heatﬂux has been *** nanoparticles are sensitive to the presence of a magneticﬁeld,different conditions have been examined,allowing both the strength and the frequency of such aﬁeld to span relatively wide ranges and assuming different concentrations of *** to theﬁndings,the addition of nanoparticles to theﬂuid causes its rotation speed to increase by a factor of two,whereas ultraviolet radiation plays a negligible *** amount of time required to attain the maximum rotation speed of the nanoﬂuid and the Nusselt number have been measured under both constant and alternating magneticﬁelds for a ferroﬂuid with a concentration of 0.5%and atﬂow Reynolds number of 550 and 1750.

Origin and geochemistry of Pan-African granitoid rocks in the Gabal Um Shomer area,Southwestern Sinai,Egypt

Geological, petrological and geochemical studies indicated that there are two distinct types of granitoid rocks: older quartz diorites to granodiorite assemblage and younger granitoids, the latter occurring in two phases. The older granitoids have a meta-aluminous chemistry and a calc-alkaline character, with high mgO, Fe2O3, TiO2, CaO, P2O5, Sr and low SiO2, K2O, and Rb. Their major and trace elements data, together with low 87Sr/ 86Sr ratios (0.7029±0.0008) are indicative of I-type affinities. The second- and third-phase granitoids range from calc-alkaline to alkaline, respectively. The second-phase granitoids have a peraluminous chemistry and high Sr, ba, CaO, mgO, Al2O3 and Ti2O and low SiO2, K2O, Nb, Y and Rb relative to the third-phase granitoids. The corundum normative nature and field observations suggested that it was formed by partial melting of the lower crust. The third-phase granitoids are alkaline in nature and characterized by higher SiO2, Rb, Y, Nb and lower mgO, Sr and ba values than the younger granitoids (phase Ⅱ). They are A-type granitoids which were generated from below or within the existing continental crust.
