Effects of aqueous extracts of Aconitum carmichaeli,Rhizoma bolbostemmatis,Phytolacca acinosa,Panax notoginseng and Gekko swinhonis Gūenther on Bel-7402 cells

AIM： To investigate the anticancer activity of a chinese medical mixture, WRCP （warming and relieving Cold Phlegm）, on hepatocarcinoma Bel-7402 cells. METHODS： Fingerprints of WRCP, which were composed of aqueous extracts of Aconitum carmichae/i, Rhizoma bolbostemmatis, Phytolacca acinosa, Panax notoginseng and Gekko swinhonis Gdenther, and aconitine, which could be isolated from Aconitum carmichaeli and have the potential toxicity, were identified by high pressure liquid chromatography. Bel-7402 cells were grown in the presence of WRCP, As203 or all-trans-retinoic acid （ATRA）. Cell proliferation and viability were determined by trypan blue stain. Apoptosis and cell cycle of Bel-7402 cells were detected by flow cytometry. Morphologic and ultrastructural variations were determined under optic and electronic microscopy. The secretion of alpha-fetoprotein and albumin was detected by radioimmunoassay. RESULTS： The average quality of aconitine is 1.15：1： 0.10 μg per 7.5 g extracts. WRCP could suppress the proliferation and viability of Bel-7402 cells. The percentage of apoptosis cells and S phase cells increased on WRCP-treated cells. Treated with WRCP, Bel-7402 cells showed ultrastructural features of differentiation. The alpha-fetoprotein secretion decreased while the albumin secretion increased （P 〈 0.001, P 〈 0.001, respectively） markedly in WRCP-treated cells. CONCLUSION： WRCP can affect the proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis of Bel-7402 cells. It can arrest cells in S phase and has strong cytotoxicity to Bel-7402 cells.

Changes of Serum Trace Elements, AFP, CEA, SF, T3, T4 and IGF-Ⅱ in Different Periods of Rat Liver Cancer

Objective: Based on liver cancer model built in SD rats, the contents of trace elements (Cu, Fe, Zn, Ca and Mg), AFP, CEA, SF, TH and IGF-II in serum were measured at different stages to explore the molecular changes during the rat liver cancer development. Methods: The SD rat liver cancer model was built by using diethylnitrosamine (DENA) as the mutagen. During 16 weeks of DENA gavage, blood samples were taken in the 14th, 28th, 56th, 77th, 105th and 112th days respectively after the first day of gavage with DENA, then the contents of five trace elements (Cu, Fe, Zn, Ca and Mg), T3, T4, IGF-II, AFP, CEA and SF in serum were determined. Results: During the development of the rat liver cancer, in the test group, the Cu content significantly increased in serum, while the contents of Fe, Zn and Ca significantly decreased. The content of Mg showed no significant change. AFP and CEA of the test group showed same expression level with the control group; while the content of SF was lower than that of the control group when cancerization appeared. T3 and T4 increased at the first stage and then went down, and the content of IGF-II was always high. Conclusion: Cu, Fe, Zn, Ca, T3, T4, SF and IGF-II are closely related to the development of liver cancer. The changes of their contents in the development of cancer could enlighten the researches on cancer pathogenesis and prevention.

Caesium atomic fountain clock is a primary frequency standard,which realizes the duration of *** performance is mostly dominated by the frequency accuracy,and the C-field induced second-order Zeeman frequency shift is the major effect,which limits the accuracy *** applying a high-precision current supply and high-performance magnetic shieldings,the C-field stability has been improved *** order to achieve a uniform C-field,this paper proposes a doubly wound C-field solenoid,which compensates the radial magnetic field along the atomic flight region generated by the lead-out single wire and improves the accuracy evaluation of second-order Zeeman frequency *** on the stable and uniform C-field,we launch the selected atoms to different heights and record the magnetically sensitive Ramsey transition|F=3,mF=-1→|F=4,mF=-1 central frequency,obtaining this frequency shift as 131.03×10^(-15)and constructing the C-field profile(σ=0.15 n T).Meanwhile,during normal operation,we lock NTSC-F2 to the central frequency of the magnetically sensitive Ramsey transition|F=3,mF=-1→|F=4,mF=-1 fringe for ten consecutive days and record this frequency fluctuation in time *** first evaluation of second-order Zeeman frequency shift uncertainty is 0.10×10^(-15).The total deviation of the frequency fluctuation on the clock transition induced by the C-field instability is less than 2.6×10^(-17).Compared with NTSC-F1,NTSC-F2,there appears a significant improvement.

Heat shock proteins (HSP)are essential molecular chaperones that play important roles in the stress stimulation of *** tabaci,a phloem feeder and invasive species,can cause extensive crop damage through direct feeding and transmission of plant *** we employed comprehensive genomics approaches to identity HSP superfamily members in the Middle East Asia Minor 1 whitefly *** total,we identified 26 Hsp genes,including three Hsp90,17 Hsp70,one Hsp60 and five sHSP (small heat shock protein)*** HSP gene superfamily of whitefly is expanded compared with the other five insects surveyed *** gene structures among the same families are relatively ***,the motif compositions and secondary structures of BtHsp proteins were *** addition,quantitative polymerase chain reaction analysis showed that the expression patterns of BtHsp gene superfamily were diverse across different tissues of *** Hsp genes were induced or repressed by thermal stress (40℃)and cold treatment (4℃)in *** the expression of BtHsp70-6 significantly decreased the survival rate of whitefly under 45℃.All the results showed the Hsps conferred thermo-tolerance or cold-tolerance to whiteflies that protect them from being affected by detrimental temperature *** observations highlighted the molecular evolutionary properties and the response mechanism to temperature assaults of Hsp genes in whitefly.

Acid producing bacterium Acetobacter aceti causes pitting corrosion of stainless steel(SS).This work investigated the enhanced resistance of 2205-Cu duplex stainless steel(DSS)against biocorrosion by *** in comparison with 2205 DSS using electrochemical and surface analysis *** the addition of Cu to 2205 DSS,biofilms on the 2205-Cu DSS surface were inhibited *** largest pit depth on 2205-Cu DSS surface in the presence of A aceti was 2.6μm,smaller than 5.5μm for 2205 DSS *** i(corr)was 0.42±0.03μA cm^-2 for 2205-Cu DSS in the biotic medium,which was much lower than that for 2205 DSS(3.69±0.65μA cm^-2).All the results indicated that the A aceti biofilm was considerably inhibited by the release of Cu^2+ions from the 2205-Cu DSS matrix,resulting in the mitigation of biocorrosion by A aceti.

At present,industrial synthetic ammonia was still obtained through the Hubble-Bosch process,with large energy *** is a research hotspot to realize green synthetic ammonia by using solar *** difficulty of photocatalytic ammonia synthesis was that the photo-excited electrons have not enough energy to active N≡*** this study,Ti was doped into BiOBr by one-step hydrothermal method,which was oxidized into TiO_(2)when the doping amount reaches the maximum,in situ forming Ti_(0.31)B_(0.69)OB/TiO_(2)*** from the synergistic effect of Ti doping and S-scheme heterojunction,the synthetic ammonia efficiency of Ti_(0.31)B_(0.69)OB/TiO_(2)-11.96 reached 1.643 mmol·g_(cat)^(-1)at mild conditions and without hole scavenger for up to 7 h,the efficiency of synthetic ammonia is 115 times,10.5 times and 3.3 times of that of BiOBr,Ti_(0.31)B_(0.69)OB and TiO_(2),***,DFT calculation confirms that Ti doping accurately refine the electronic structure of BiOBr,facilitate nitrogen adsorption activation and reduce hydrogenation reaction energy barrier,thus accelerating the reaction kinetics of photocatalytic nitrogen reduction(NRR),Meanwhile,constructing S-scheme heterojunction boosts the separation and transfer of photogenerated electron-hole pairs,improving the reduction ability of electrons in the conduction band of TiO_(2)and the oxidation ability of holes in the valence band of Ti_(0.31)B_(0.69)OB.

Three New Polyoxometalates Derivatives Decorated by Phenanthroline and Transition-metal Cations(M=Zn~ⅡI , Co~Ⅱ , Ni~Ⅱ)

Three new Keggin polyoxometalates, [Zn（phen）3]2[SiW12O40]＇5H2O（1）, [Co（phen）3]2[SiW12O40]（2） and [Ni（phen）3]2[SiW12O40].2H2O（3）（phen=1,10＇-phenanthroline） have been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, crystal X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analyses（TGA） and fluorescence tech- niques. Complex 1, crystallized in the triclinic space group Pi, consists of one [SiW12O40]4 anion, two discrete [Zn（phen）3]^2＋ cations and five crystal water molecules. Complexes 2 and 3 have the similar configuration to complex 1, but they crystallized in the monoclinic space group C2/c. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibilities of complexess 2 and 3 reveal antiferromagnetism and ferromagnetism, respectively.
