An experimental method was used to evaluate the primary isotope yields of semi-central collisions in the reaction system64Zn+112Sn at 40A *** characteristic nature of the hot nuclear matter at the time of the isotope formation was *** multiplicities of light particles(LPs) associated with intermediate mass fragments(IMFs) were determined experimentally by using a kinematical focusing *** primary isotope distributions,reconstructed by a Monte Carlo method,were compared with those of the AMD-Gemini ***/T=0.11 and asym/T=3.34 were extracted from the reconstructed primary fragments *** are consistent with those of the primary fragments of the AMD simulation.

An E//B neutral particle analyzer(NPA)has been designed and is under development at Sichuan University and Southwestern Institute of *** main purpose of the E//B NPA is to measure the distribution function of fast ions in the HL-2A/3 *** E//B NPA contains three main units,*** stripping unit,the analyzing unit and the detection unit.A gas stripping chamber was adopted as the stripping *** results of the simulations and beam tests for the stripping chamber are *** electric and magnetic fields provided by a NdFeB permanent magnet and two parallel electric plates were designed and constructed for the analyzing *** calibration of the magnetic and electric fields was performed using a 50 kV electron cyclotron resonance ion source(ECRIS)*** detection unit consists of 32lutetium-yttrium oxyorthosilicate(LYSO)detector modules arranged in two *** response functions ofα,hydrogen ions(H^(+),H_(2)^(+)and H_(3)^(+))andγfor a detector module were measured with^(241)Am,^(137)Cs and^(152)Eu sources together with the 50 kV ECRIS *** overall results indicate that the designed E//B NPA device is capable of measuring the intensity of neutral hydrogen and deuteron atoms with energy higher than 20 keV.

The neutral particle analyzer(NPA)is one of the crucial diagnostic devices in a Tokamak *** stripping unit is one of the main parts of the NPA.A windowless gas-stripping room with two differential pipes has been constructed in a parallel electric and magnetic fields(E//B)*** pressure distributions in the stripping chamber are simulated by ANSYS Fluent together with MolFlow+.Based on the pressure distributions obtained from the simulation,the stripping efficiency of the E//B NPA is studied using *** reaction physics is modified to track the charge state of each particle in a cross-section-based method in *** transmission rates(R)and stripping efficiencies f_(+1)are examined for particle energies ranging from 20 to 200 keV with the input pressure(P_(0)),ranging from 20 to 400 *** to the combined global efficiency,R×f_(+1),P_(0)=240 Pa is obtained as the optimum pressure for the maximum global efficiency in the incident energy range investigated.

The 12C+12C reaction at 95 MeV/u was performed at GANIL[1],motivated by the hadron beam therapy with carbon ions to treat cancerous *** Ref.[2]the angular distributions and energy spectra of the outgoing particles were compared with the reaction models embedded in the GEANT4 and none of the toolkits provide good enough reproductions of the experimental *** order to reproduce the energy spectra and elucidate the production mechanism of LCPs,the moving source model was applied to analyze the energy spectra of light charged particles.

Hamamatsu R1924A is one of the most widely used photomultiplier tubes(PMTs) in nuclear *** the active base suitable for R1924A is still not available in market, an active base is designed for Hamamatsu R1924A PMT, and the test results at high counting rates are presented. The active bases with two different sets of resistor chains were tested and compared by a frequency-controlled green straw hat LED light. A stable signal output up to 100 kHz is achieved using frequency-controlled LED pulsed light. The temperature of bases, which reflects the power consumption and is crucial for applications in vacuum, is also monitored with the same LED pulsed light. The temperature of the active base with smaller resistances reaches about twice of that of the active base with larger resistances in the resistor chain. For the applications in vacuum, the active base with resistance between the two sets of resistor chains may be preferable.

An improved method is proposed for the extraction of the symmetry energy coefficient relative to the temperature, asym/T, for the heavy-ion reactions near the Fermi energy region, based on the modified Fisher Model(MFM). This method is applied to the primary fragments of the Anti-symmetrized Molecular Dynamics(AMD)simulations for the reactions of40 Ca + 40 Ca at 35 Me V/nucleon. The density and the temperature at the fragment formation stage are extracted using a self-consistent method.

Stripping units take a key role in the neutral particle analyzer(NPA).A renovated gas-stripping unit was constructed for the newly designed E//B *** H_(2)as the working gas,we measured the gas inlet pressure(P_(0))and vacuum chamber pressure(P_(3)).The pressure distribution inside the gas-stripping room was calculated with Ansys Fluent,using the measured P_(0)and P_(3)as boundary *** stripping efficiency of the stripping unit was then simulated utilizing the Geant4 Monte Carlo code for the H and D *** pressure P_(0)=40 Pa,which is one-sixth of what found in the previous design and corresponds to a thickness of 1.27×10^(17)atoms∕cm^(2),was obtained as the optimum working pressure for the upgraded stripping *** 50 kV electron cyclotron resonance(ECR)ion source platform was designed and constructed for E//B NPA calibration,and its performance has been *** the ECR ion source platform,we measured the efficiency of the stripping unit through an inverse experiment with proton *** compared the current ratios of measurements with and without H_(2)gas to Geant4 simulation *** found adequate agreement between the overall trends of the experiment and the *** significant deviation for incident energies below 20 keV may result from the scattering effects of low-energy protons,leading to reduced accuracy in single-scattering physics in Geant4 *** the scattering corrections observed in the reverse experiments obtains more accurate stripping efficiencies for H and D atoms in the energy range of 20–200 keV and the global efficiency with the maximum values of 95.0%for H atoms and 78.9%for D atoms at 200 keV.

It has been pointed out that anisotropic flows, such as a transverse or elliptic flow, are one of the most important observables, which constrains the nuclear force and the underlying EOS at super-normal density and re ects the evolution dynamics of nuclear collisions. Since the transverse ows are created in the primary stage of the reactions, the existing studies have been focused on the primary particles and the effects of the secondary particles, which are emitted during the cooling down stage of the excited fragments, have not been taken into account. In this study we first focus on the secondary particle effect on the transverse flow, which is investigated by using AMD(antisymmetrized molecular dynamics model) and Genimi codes.
