Mining in tailings dams has emerged as a strategic alternative for mining companies for both economic and environmental reasons. Owing to technological limitations in recent decades, many of these dams have high metal contents, emphasizing the need to evaluate the quality of these residues, especially considering the technological advancements in current concentration plants. An economic viability analysis associated with reusing these materials is crucial. from an environmental point of view, improving mining techniques for dams by considering both safety and feasibility is an advantageous option in decommissioning processes and alignment in the circular economy. In this context, representing these tailings in terms of grade quality and granulometry, as well as the associated contaminants, is essential. Geostatistical estimation and simulation methods are valuable tools for modeling tailings bodies, but they require a reliable sampling campaign to ensure acceptably low errors. from an operational perspective, tailings recovery can be conducted via dry methods, such as mechanical excavation, or hydraulic methods, such as dredging or hydraulic blasting. Dredging is a commonly used method, and cutter suction dredgers, which require pumping to transport fragmented material, are the most commonly used tools. In this paper, some practical applications of geostatistical methods for resource quantification in tailings dams will be discussed. Additionally, the main mining methods for tailings recovery in dams will be presented. Emphasis will be given to the dredging method, along with the key analysis parameters for sizing dredgers, pumps, and pipelines.

This investigation has presented an approach to Extractive Automatic Text Summarization (EATS). A framework focused on the summary of a single document has been developed, using the Tf-ldf method (frequency Term, Inverse Document frequency) as a reference, dividing the document into a subset of documents and generating value of each of the words contained in each document, those documents that show Tf-Idf equal or higher than the threshold are those that represent greater importance, therefore;can be weighted and generate a text summary according to the user’s request. This document represents a derived model of text mining application in today’s world. We demonstrate the way of performing the summarization. Random values were used to check its performance. The experimented results show a satisfactory and understandable summary and summaries were found to be able to run efficiently and quickly, showing which are the most important text sentences according to the threshold selected by the user.

The Angaco INTA onion variety is the most cultivated and its production,mostly is destined for *** to their high-quality standards of these markets,many onions are *** drying process seems to be a promising solution that not only give added value to this product,but also extend shelf *** this work,the influence of convective drying process,at 60 and 70C,on the kinetic behavior,antioxidant activity,phenolic and flavonoid contents of discarded onion slices were *** that,the Angaco INTA onion is a variety genetically developed to have shorter cultivation times in this region;the phenolic compounds content in this onion variety,the drying kinetics and its influence on this content have never been *** this study,the phenolic compounds contributions to dehydrated product quality was evaluated,observing that the convective drying increased the total soluble phenolic and flavonoid contents and antioxidant properties for both temperatures,being highest at 70*** rehydration ratios were similar to the slices dried at 60 and 70*** models were used for describing the obtained drying curve equation of onion slices,being the Midilli’s model the one that presented the best ***’s model of water diffusion fitted all experimental data with acceptable correlation *** the achieved findings,70C is the optimum temperature to produce the dehydrated Angaco INTA onion.
