As the intersection of disciplines deepens,the field of battery modeling is increasingly employing various artificial intelligence(AI)approaches to improve the efficiency of battery management and enhance the stability and reliability of battery *** paper reviews the value of AI methods in lithium-ion battery health management and in particular analyses the application of machine learning(ML),one of the many branches of AI,to lithium-ion battery state of health(SOH),focusing on the advantages and strengths of neural network(NN)methods in ML for lithium-ion battery SOH simulation and *** is one of the important branches of ML,in which the application of NNs such as backpropagation NN,convolutional NN,and long short-term memory NN in SOH estimation of lithium-ion batteries has received wide *** so far have shown that the utilization of NN to model the SOH of lithium-ion batteries has the advantages of high efficiency,low energy consumption,high robustness,and scalable *** the future,NN can make a greater contribution to lithium-ion battery management by,first,utilizing more field data to play a more practical role in health feature screening and model building,and second,by enhancing the intelligent screening and combination of battery parameters to characterize the actual lithium-ion battery SOH to a greater *** in-depth application of NN in lithium-ion battery SOH will certainly further enhance the science,reliability,stability,and robustness of lithium-ion battery management.

Background:Surgical-site infection(SSI)was one of the most common post-operative morbidities of ileostomy *** several skin-closure procedures had been developed to reduce the rate of SSI,the optimal procedure remains *** this study,we compared the effect of two surgical techniques for wound closure following ileostomy reversal:gunsight suture(GS)and linear suture(LS).Methods:A total of 233 patients who underwent loop ileostomy at the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University between January 2015 and December 2017 were enrolled into our *** patients were divided into two groups:the LS group and the GS *** compared the clinical characteristics between the two groups and analyzed the data using IBM SPSS to identify risk factors for ***:Both groups successfully underwent *** rate of SSI was significantly lower in the GS group(n=2,0.02%)than in the LS group(n=16,12.00%,P=0.007).The length of hospital stay after the operation in the GS group was significantly shorter than that in the LS group(8.163.2 vs 10.865.4 days,P<0.001).Multivariate analysis showed that GS was an independent protective risk factor for SSI(odds ratio=0.212,P=0.048).Conclusions:Compared with the LS technique,the GS technique can significantly decrease the rate of SSI and shorten the length of hospital stay after *** GS technique may be recommended for wound closure following ileostomy reversal.

Dark Matter Search in Dwarf Irregular Galaxies with Ten Years of Data from the Ice Cube Neutrino Observatory

Effect of Tanshinone IIA on High Glucose-induced Apoptosis and Oxidative Stress Damage in Vascular Endothelial Cells

Objective: The primary cause of microvascular disease in diabetic complications is long-term hyperglycemia, wherein the damage and apoptosis of vascular endothelial cells play a significant role. Sodium tanshinone IIA sulfonate(STS) has been found to have beneficial effects on cardiovascular health. This study aimed to investigate the impact of STS on high glucose-induced apoptosis and oxidative stress damage in vascular endothelial cells, as well as its potential protective mechanisms. Methods:Human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs) were divided into five groups:low-glucose group, high-glucose group, and three STS groups(STS-a, STS-b, and STS-c). The low-glucose group was incubated with DMEM low-sugar medium containing 5.5 mmol·L-1glucose, while the high-glucose group was treated with 33.3mmol·L-1glucose. The STS groups were exposed to 10, 30, and 50 μg·m L-1of STS,respectively. Each group was cultured for 72 h, and the MTT method was utilized to assess cell proliferation. Additionally, flow cytometry was employed to monitor changes in cell apoptosis and cellular oxidative stress indicators at 24, 48, and 72 h of cell culture in each group. Results: As time went on, the cell proliferation ability and apoptosis rate of each group gradually increased. The high-glucose group exhibited lower proliferation ability compared to the other groups. The STS-c group demonstrated the highest OD value for proliferation ability(24 h: 1.19±0.12; 48 h: 1.20±0.13; 72 h:1.25 ±0.12), but it was still lower than that of the low-sugar group. Notably, the high-glucose group had the highest cell apoptosis rate, while the low-glucose group had the lowest. The apoptosis rate of the STS-c group(24 h: 8.02±0.13; 48 h: 10.10±0.12;72 h: 13.18 ±0.11)% was between that of the low-glucose group and the high-glucose group, and lower than the STS-a and STS-b groups. Transportation accessibility has been treated as an important means of reducing the urban-rural income ***,only a few studies have examined the effects of different types of transportation accessibility on urban-rural income disparity and their spatial *** on data from 285 prefecture-level(and above)Chinese cities in 2000,2005,2010,2015,and 2020,this study uses spatial econometric models to examine how highway accessibility and railway accessibility influence the urban-rural income disparity and to identify their spatial *** result reveals that highway accessibility and railway accessibility have‘coreperiphery’ring-like circle *** urban-rural income disparity exhibits strong spatial clustering *** highway accessibility and railway accessibility are negatively associated with urban-rural income disparity,and the former having a greater effect ***,there is a substitution effect between highway accessibility and railway accessibility in the whole ***,these associations differ in geographic *** the central region,highway accessibility is more important in reducing the urban-rural income disparity,but its effect is weakened with the increase of railway *** the western region,railway accessibility has a larger effect on narrowing the urban-rural income disparity,and this effect is strengthened by the increase of highway *** conclude that improving transportation accessibility is conducive to reducing the urban-rural income disparity but its effect is spatial *** and railways should be developed in a coordinated manner to promote an integrated transport network system.

A bounding surface visco-plasticity model considering generalized spacing ratio of soils

The non-unique critical state of soils with time-dependent behaviors is a significant issue in geotechnical engineering ***,previous bounding surface plasticity models cannot predict accurately the non-unique critical state of soils,because the distance between the compression line and critical state line charged by strain-rate effect is basically *** fill this gap,a generalized spacing ratio of soils is defined in the elasto-viscoplastic framework,and a bounding surface visco-plasticity model is formulated and verified,which can consider the generalized spacing ***,the generalized spacing ratio of soils reflects the distance between the compression line and the critical state line of soils with time-dependent ***,the generalized spacing ratio is introduced into an improved anisotropic bounding surface.A new expression of the visco-plastic multiplier is derived by solving the consistency equation of an anisotropic bounding *** the expression,a strain rate index is proposed to account for the strain-rate effect on visco-plastic strain increment,and a visco-plastic hardening modulus is derived to predict the visco-plastic response of soils in overconsolidation *** model is then verified through constant strain rate tests and creep ***,it can capture the non-unique critical states of soils with time-dependent behaviors due to the generalized spacing ratio and the creep rupture of soils due to the visco-plastic multiplier that considers the stress ratio and visco-plastic strain rate.

Experimental investigation on fluid-induced slip behavior of fault filled with fault gouge

Fault zones are usually filled with fault gouge and accompanied by fault *** coupled effect of fault gouge and water significantly impacts the slip behavior of the fault,which may weaken the fault structure and further induce rupture propagation and *** this study,we carried out a laboratory experiment to investigate the fluid-induced slip behavior of fault filled with *** friction evolution characteristic associated with fluid pressure and effective stress was investigated during the slip *** addition,the role transformation process of the gouge on the slip behavior of fault was *** experimental result indicates that the friction on the filled fault surface is significantly affected by fault *** rupture of the gouge promotes fault slip and the fluid pressure plays a vital role in the initiation of fault *** fault gouge enhances the shearing strength of the fault and acts as a barrier before the initial slip under fluid ***,the fault gouge would accelerate the fault slip and transform into lubricant after the initial slip.

Local Hybrid Linear State Estimation for Electric Power Systems Using Stream Processing

The increasing penetration of renewable energy resources with highly fluctuating outputs has placed increasing concern on the accuracy and timeliness of electric power system state estimation(SE).Meanwhile,we note that only a fraction of system states fluctuate at the millisecond level and require to be *** such,refreshing only those states with significant variation would enhance the computational efficiency of SE and make fast-continuous update of states ***,this is difficult to achieve with conventional SE methods,which generally refresh states of the entire system every 4–5 *** this context,we propose a local hybrid linear SE framework using stream processing,in which synchronized measurements received from phasor measurement units(PMUs),and trigger/timingmode measurements received from remote terminal units(RTUs)are used to update the associated local ***,the measurement update process efficiency and timeliness are enhanced by proposing a trigger measurement-based fast dynamic partitioning algorithm for determining the areas of the system with states requiring *** particular,non-iterative hybrid linear formulations with both RTUs and PMUs are employed to solve the local SE *** timeliness,accuracy,and computational efficiency of the proposed method are demonstrated by extensive simulations based on IEEE 118-,300-,and 2383-bus systems.

WeldNet:A voxel-based deep learning network for point cloud annular weld seam detection

Weld seam detection is an important part of automated *** present,few studies have been conducted on annular weld seams,and a lot of defects exist in the point cloud model of the tube sheet obtained by RGB-D cameras and photography *** at the above problems,this paper proposed an annular weld seam detection network named WeldNet where a voxel feature encoding layer was adaptively improved for annular weld seams,the sparse convolutional network and region proposal network(RPN)were used to detect annular weld seam position,and an annular weld seam detection loss function was ***,an annular weld seam dataset was established to train the *** with the random sampling consistency(RANSAC)method,WeldNet has a higher detection accuracy,as well as a higher detection success rate which has increased by 23%.Compared with U-Net,WeldNet has been proven to achieve a better detection result,and the intersection over the union of the weld seam detection is improved by 17.8%.

The inertial navigation system(INS),which is frequently used in emergency rescue operations and other situations,has the benefits of not relying on infrastructure,high positioning frequency,and strong real-time ***,the intricate and unpredictable pedestrian motion patterns lead the INS localization error to significantly diverge with *** paper aims to enhance the accuracy of zero-velocity interval(ZVI)detection and reduce the heading and altitude drift of foot-mounted INS via deep learning and equation constraint of dual *** at the observational noise problem of low-cost inertial sensors,we utilize a denoising autoencoder to automatically eliminate the inherent *** at the problem that inaccurate detection of the ZVI detection results in obvious displacement error,we propose a sample-level ZVI detection algorithm based on the U-Net neural network,which effectively solves the problem of mislabeling caused by sliding *** at the problem that Zero-Velocity Update(ZUPT)cannot suppress heading and altitude error,we propose a bipedal INS method based on the equation constraint and ellipsoid constraint,which uses foot-to-foot distance as a new observation to correct heading and altitude *** conduct extensive and well-designed experiments to evaluate the performance of the proposed *** experimental results indicate that the position error of our proposed method did not exceed 0.83% of the total traveled distance.
