Highly efficient photo-thermal synergistic catalysis of CO_(2)methanation over La_(1-x)Ce_(x)NiO_(3)perovskite-catalyst

Solar-driven photo-thermal catalytic CO_(2)methanation reaction is a promising technology to alleviate the problems posed by greenhouse gases ***,designing advanced photo-thermal catalysts remains a research challenge for CO_(2)methanation *** this work,a series of ABO3(A=lanthanide,B=transition metal)perovskite catalysts with Ce-substituted LaNiO3(La_(1-x)Ce_(x)NiO_(3),x=0,0.2,0.5,0.8,1)were synthesized for CO_(2)*** La_(0.2)Ce_(0.8)NiO_(3) exhibited the highest CH_(4) formation rate of 258.9 mmol·g^(-1)·hcat-1,CO_(2)conversion of 55.4%and 97.2%CH_(4) selectivity at 300℃with the light intensity of 2.9 W·cm^(-2).Then the catalysts were thoroughly analyzed by physicochemical structure and optical properties *** partial substitution of the A-site provided more active sites for the adsorption and activation of CO_(2)/H_(2).The sources of the active sites were considered to be the oxygen vacancies(O_(v))created by lattice distortions due to different species of ions(La^(3+),Ce^(4+),Ce^(3+))and exsolved Ni0 by H_(2)*** catalysts have excellent light absorption absorbance and low electron-hole(e^(-)/h^(+))recombination rate,which greatly contribute to the excellent performance in photo-thermal synergistic catalysis(PTC)CO_(2)*** results of in situ irradiated electron paramagnetic resonance spectrometer(ISI-EPR)and ISI-X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)indicated that the aggregation of unpaired electrons near the defects and Ni metal(from La and Ce ions to Ov and Ni0)accelerated adsorption and activation of CO_(2)/H_(2).At last,the catalyst properties and structure were correlated with the proposed reaction mechanism from the in situ diffuse reflection infrared Fourier transform spectrum(DRIFTS)*** in situ precipitation of the B-site enhanced the dispersion of Ni,while its enriched photoelectrons upon illumination further promote hydrogen *** H^(*)spillover accelerated t

The penalized variable selection methods are often used to select the relevant covariates and estimate the unknown regression coefficients simultaneously,but these existing methods may fail to be consistent for the setting with highly correlated *** this paper,the semi-standard partial covariance(SPAC)method with Lasso penalty is proposed to study the generalized linear model with highly correlated covariates,and the consistencies of the estimation and variable selection are shown in high-dimensional settings under some regularity *** simulation studies and an analysis of colon tumor dataset are carried out to show that the proposed method performs better in addressing highly correlated problem than the traditional penalized variable selection methods.

Attitude is one of the crucial parameters for space objects and plays a vital role in collision prediction and debris *** light curves to determine attitude is the most commonly used *** photometric observations,outliers may exist in the obtained light curves due to various ***,preprocessing is required to remove these outliers to obtain high quality light *** statistical analysis,the reasons leading to outliers can be categorized into two main types:first,the brightness of the object significantly increases due to the passage of a star nearby,referred to as“stellar contamination,”and second,the brightness markedly decreases due to cloudy cover,referred to as“cloudy contamination.”The traditional approach of manually inspecting images for contamination is time-consuming and ***,we propose the utilization of machine learning methods as a *** Neural Networks and SVMs are employed to identify cases of stellar contamination and cloudy contamination,achieving F1 scores of 1.00 and 0.98 on a test set,*** also explore other machine learning methods such as ResNet-18 and light Gradient Boosting Machine,then conduct comparative analyses of the results.

Correlation between the charge radii difference in mirror partner nuclei and thesymmetry energy slope

A correlation between the charge radii difference of mirror partner nucleiΔR_(ch) and the slope parameter L of symmetry energy has been built to ascertain the equation of state of isospin asymmetric nuclear *** this work,the influences of pairing correlations and isoscalar compression modulus on theΔRch are systematically investigated based on the Skyrme energy density functional *** calculated results suggest that the linear correlation betweenΔR_(ch) and L is decreased by the surface pairing *** slope parameter deduced from the difference of charge radii of mirror-pair nuclei ^(32)Ar-^(32)Si,^(36)Ca-^(36)S,^(38)Ca-^(38)Ar,and ^(54)Ni-^(54)Fe falls into the range of L=42.57−50.64 MeV,that is,the rather soft equation of state of asymmetric nuclear ***,the range of the slope parameter can also be influenced by the effective forces classified by various isoscalar incompressibility coefficients.

Interplay of RNA-binding proteins controls germ cell development in zebrafish

The specification of germ cells in zebrafish mostly relies on an inherited mechanism by which localized maternal determinants,called germ plasm,confer germline fate in the early *** studies have partially allowed the identification of key regulators governing germ plasm formation and subsequent germ cell ***-binding proteins,acting in concert with other germ plasm components,play essential roles in the organization of the germ plasm and the specification,migration,maintenance,and differentiation of primordial germ *** loss of their functions impairs germ cell formation and causes sterility or sexual *** is emerging that they instruct germline development through differential regulation of mRNA fates in somatic and germ ***,the challenge remains to decipher the complex interplay of maternal germ plasm components in germ plasm compartmentalization and germ cell *** failure to control the developmental outcome of germ cells disrupts the formation of gametes,it is important to gain a complete picture of regulatory mechanisms operating in the germ cell *** review sheds light on the contributions of RNA-binding proteins to germ cell development in zebrafish and highlights intriguing questions that remain open for future investigation.

Ultrahigh strength and uniform corrosion in Zn-li alloys through ultrahigh pressure supersaturated solid solution treatment for biodegradable orthopedic applications

Zn-li alloys are considered promising candidate materials for biodegradable orthopedic implant applications due to their high mechanical performance and good ***,the presence of a large number of second-phase particles in this class of Zn alloys can lead to severe localized degradation due to micro-galvanic corrosion,which is detrimental to the mechanical integrity of the alloys during tissue healing in the human *** this study we report ultrahigh strength,uniform corrosion,good cytocompatibility,and effective antibacterial ability in Zn-x li（x=0.3,0.5,0.7;wt%） alloys achieved through supersaturated solid solution treatment （SSST） at 375℃ under ultrahigh pressure of 3 GPa.A high concentration of β-liZn4phases coexisted with the-Zn matrix in the as-cast Zn-x li alloys,whereas almost all the li dissolved into the-Zn matrix of SSST *** yield strength was 437 MPa for SSST Zn-0.3li,592 MPa for SSST Zn-0.5 li and 686 MPa for SSST *** SSST Zn-li alloys showed uniform degradation with remarkably reduced degradation rates compared to their as-cast *** 25% concentration extracts of the Zn-x li alloys demonstrated no cytotoxicity toward MC3T3-E1 cells,and the alloys exhibited effective antibacterial ability agains methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus.

Infiltrating immune cells in the tumor microenvironment(TME)play critical roles in the initiation,progression,and metastasis of cancer[1].Previous studies have reported that the infiltration levels of various immune cell types are significantly associated with patient prognosis in different cancers[2,3].Specifically,in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)the prognostic associations of major immune cell types have been investigated[4–6],however,some of the reported associations are inconsistent and remain debated[7].limited by technical issues,most studies focused on a few immune cell lineages or relied on inferred immune cell levels from computational *** investigate the prognostic effects of all major immune cell types unbiasedly,more systematic high-quality immune cell profiling data with matched patient survival information are needed.

Temporal changes in mixing effects on litter decay and nitrogen release in a boreal riparian forest in northeastern China

In riparian forests,litter decay provides essential energy and nutrients for both terrestrial and fluvial *** mixing effects(LMEs)are crucial in regulating litter decay and nutrient dynamics,yet how LMEs change over time is unclear in riparian *** this study,leaf litter of three common species(Alnus sibirica *** Turcz,Betula platyphylla Sukaczev,and Betula fruticosa Pall.)were mixed in an equal mass ratio and LMEs were measured for mass and nitrogen(N)remaining in whole litter mixtures over a 3-year period in a boreal riparian forest,northeastern *** were also assessed for component litter mass and N remaining by separating litter mixtures by *** the decay of litter mixtures,antagonistic effects on mass and N remaining were dominant after one and two years of decay,whereas only additive effects were observed after three *** correlated negatively with functional diversity after the first and two years of decay but disappeared after three *** sorting litter mixtures by species,non-additive LMEs on mass and N remaining decreased over incubation ***,non-additive LMEs were more frequent for litter of both *** and *** with lower N concentration than for *** litter with higher N *** results indicate that incubation time is a key determinant of litter mixing effects during decay and highlight that late-stage litter mixture decay may be predicted from single litter decay dynamics in boreal riparian forests.
