Solving quantified constraint satisfaction problems with value selection rules

Solving a quantified constraint satisfaction problem(QCSP)is usually a hard task due to its computational *** algorithms play an important role in solving this problem,among which backtrack algorithms are *** a backtrack algorithm,an important step is assigning a variable by a chosen value when exploiting a branch,and thus a good value selection rule may speed up *** this paper,we propose two value selection rules for existentially and universally quantified variables,respectively,to avoid unnecessary *** rule for universally quantified variables is prior to trying failure values in previous branches,and the rule for existentially quantified variables selects the promising values *** rules are integrated into the state-of-the-art QCSP solver,i.e.,QCSP-Solve,which is an exact solver based on *** perform a number of experiments to evaluate improvements brought by our *** computational results,we can conclude that the new value selection rules speed up the solver by 5 times on average and 30 times at *** also show both rules perform well particularly on instances with existentially and universally quantified variables occurring alternatively.

Strong impact does serious harm to the military industries so it is necessary to choose reasonable cushioning material and design effective buffers to prevent the impact of *** on the capillary property entangled porous metallic wire materials(EPMWM),this paper designed a composite buffer which uses EPMWM and viscous fluid as cushioning materials under the low-speed impact of the recoil force device of weapon equipment(such as artillery,mortar,etc.).Combined with the capillary model,porosity,hydraulic diameter,maximum pore diameter and pore distribution were used to characterize the pore structure characteristics of *** calculation model of the damping force of the composite buffer was *** low-speed impact test of the composite buffer was *** parameters of the buffer under low-speed impact were identified according to the model,and the nonlinear model of damping force was *** test results show that the composite buffer with EPMWM and viscous fluid can absorb the impact energy from the recoil movement effectively,and provide a new method for the buffer design of weapon equipment(such as artillery,mortar,etc.).

The Prussian blue/ionic liquid-polyaniline/multiwall carbon nanotubes (PB/IL-PANI/MWNTs) composite film was fabricated by using cyclic voltammetry. The ion liquid acting as a lubricating agent, could enhance the electron delocalization degree and reduce the structural defects of the polyaniline. The surface morphology of the composite film revealed that the PB nanoparticles have smaller size than that in pure PB film. Due to the introduction of ion liquid, the PB/IL-PANI/MWNTs composite film showed wonderful synergistic effect which can remarkably enhance sensitivity, expand linear range and broaden acidic adaptability for hydrogen peroxide detection. The composite film demonstrated good stability in neutral solution contrast to pure PB film, with a linear range from 2.5 μmol/L to 0.5 mmol/L and a high sensitivity of 736.8 μA·(mmol/L)?1·cm?2 for H2O2 detection. Based on the composite film, an amperometric glucose biosensor was then fabricated by immobilizing glucose oxidase. Under the optimal conditions, the biosensor also exhibits excellent response to glucose with the linear range from 12.5 μmol/L to 1.75 mmol/L and a high sensitivity of 94.79 μA·(mmol/L)?1·cm?2 for H2O2. The detection limit was estimated 1.1 μmol/L. The resulting biosensor was applied to detect the blood sugar in human serum samples without any pretreatment, and the results were comparatively in agreement with the clinical assay.

Over the past several decades,a variety of technical ways have been developed in seismic retrofitting of existing reinforced concrete frames(RFs).Among them,pin-supported rocking walls(PWs)have received much attentions to researchers ***,it is still a challenge that how to determine the stiffness demand of PWs and assign the value of the drift concentration factor(DCF)for entire systems rationally and *** this paper,a design method has been exploited for seismic retrofitting of existing RFs using PWs(RF-PWs)via a multi-objective evolutionary ***,the method has been investigated and verified through a practical ***,a parametric analysis was executed to exhibit the strengths and working mechanism of the multi-objective design *** sum up,the findings of this investigation show that the method furnished in this paper is feasible,functional and can provide adequate information for determining the stiffness demand and the value of the DCFfor ***,it can be applied for the preliminary design of these kinds of structures.

Mg-13.1 Gd-1.6 Ag-0.4 Zr(wt%)alloy was either iso-thermally extruded at 350℃ or differentialthermally extruded with respectively pre-heated billet at 500℃ and die at 350℃.The iso-thermal extrusion leads to a near fully recrystallized structure and a[0001]//ED(extrusion direction)*** contrast,the differential-thermally extruded alloy develops a bimodal-grained structure composed of fine equiaxed recrystallized grains and coarse elongated unrecrystallized grains with a0110//ED *** differential-thermally extruded alloy has a higher number density of precipitates after postextrusion ageing than that of the iso-thermally extruded ***,precipitation in the differential-thermally extruded alloy is further enhanced with cold rolling before ***,the alloy obtains room temperature tensile yield strength of 421 MPa and ultimate tensile strength of 515 MPa via differential-thermal extrusion,cold rolling and ageing,mainly ascribed to the coupled strengthening from the bimodal-grained structure and enhanced *** of the alloy is noticeably higher than those of Mg-Gd(-Y)-Ag extruded alloys with similar compositions reported previously and is comparable to those of other high-strength Mg wrought *** findings suggest that differentialthermal extrusion plus strain ageing is a suitable approach for achieving high strength in age-hardenable Mg alloys.

Monochloroacetic acid(MCAA)is identified as a highly carcinogenic disinfection by-product in chlorinated drinking *** this study,a series of CeO_(2)-supported Pd catalysts(Pd/MCeO_(2))were synthesized through one-step calcination of Pd-loaded Ce-UiO-66-BDC(CeMOF),and the liquid-phase catalytic hydrodechlorination of MCA A was explored using these *** comparison,Pd/CeO_(2)catalysts were additionally synthesized using the conventional impregnation *** characterization results reveal that the catalysts exhibit strong metal-support interaction,leading to high Pd dispersion and Pd^(n+)***,the calcination temperature significantly influences catalytic performance,with the catalyst calcined at 500℃(Pd/MCeO_(2)-500)demonstrating the highest catalytic activity and achieving complete dechlorination of MCA A within 50 ***,it is found that the catalytic MCAA hydrodechlorination using the catalysts adheres to the Langmuir-Hinshelwood ***,low reaction pH is favorable for the catalytic hydrodechlorination of MCAA,enhancing MCAA adsorption on the catalyst surface due to the electrostatic interaction between MCAA and the catalyst *** results suggest that the presence of Pd^(n+)efficiently facilitates MCAA adsorption and C-Cl cleavage,thus significantly enhancing the liquid-phase catalytic hydrodechlorination.
