Background Transvaginal oocyte retrieval is frequently followed by adverse events related to anesthesia and the *** research showed that transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation(TEAS)can relieve intraoperative pain and postoperative *** This study examined whether TEAS can alleviate pain and relieve adverse symptoms after oocyte ***,setting,participants and interventions Altogether 128 patients were randomly divided into the TEAS group and the mock TEAS *** two groups received a 30-minute-long TEAS or mock TEAS treatment that began 30 min after oocyte *** outcome measures The primary outcome was the visual analog scale(VAS)pain *** outcomes were pressure pain threshold,McGill score,pain rating index(PRI),present pain intensity(PPI),VAS stress score,VAS anxiety score,and postoperative adverse *** The baseline characteristics of the two groups were comparable(P>0.05).The VAS pain scores of the TEAS group were lower than those of the mock TEAS group at 60 and 90 min after oocyte retrieval(P0.05).The TEAS group was superior to the mock TEAS group for relieving postoperative adverse symptoms(P<0.05).Conclusion TEAS treatment can relieve postoperative pain and postoperative adverse symptoms for patients undergoing oocyte retrieval.

Study of the Lift Force Induced by An Interceptor on A High-Speed Mono-Hull:The Affecting Factors and Estimation Formula

To find a better way to estimate the lift force induced by an interceptor on a high-speed mono-hull ship,a series of high-speed mono-hull ship models are designed and investigated under different *** lift forces are obtained by numerical calculations and validated by a model test in a towing *** factors that influence the force are the interceptor height,velocity,draft,and deadrise *** relationship between each factor and the induced lift force is investigated and *** found that the induced lift mainly depends on the interceptor height and advancing velocity,and is proportional to the square of the interceptor height and *** results also showed that the effects of the draft and deadrise angle are relatively less important,and the relationship between the induced lift and these two factors is generally *** on the results,a formula including the combined effect of all factors used to estimate the lift force induced by the interceptor is developed based on systematic *** proposed formula could be used to estimate the lift force induced by interceptors,especially under high-speed condition.

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the feasibility and tolerability of metoprolol standard dosing pathway(MSDP)in Chinese patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS).METHODS In this multicenter,prospective,open label,single-arm and interventional study that was conducted from February 2018 to April 2019 in fifteen Chinese hospitals.A total of 998 hospitalized patients aged≥18 years and diagnosed with ACS were *** MSDP was applied to all eligible ACS patients based on the standard treatment recommended by international *** primary endpoint was the percentage of patients achieving the target dose at discharge(V2).The secondary endpoints included the heart rate and blood pressure at V2 and four weeks after discharge(V4),and percentage of patients experiencing bradycardia(heart rate<50 beats/min),hypotension(blood pressure<90/60 mmHg)and transient cardiac dysfunction at V2 and *** Of the 998 patients,29.46%of patients achieved the target dose(≥95 mg/d)at *** total population was divided into two groups:target group(patients achieving the target dose at V2)and non-target group(patients not achieving the target dose at V2).There was significant difference in the reduction of heart rate from baseline to discharge in the two groups(-4.97±11.90beats/min vs.-2.70±9.47 beats/min,P=0.034).There was no significant difference in the proportion of bradycardia that occurred in the two groups at V2(0 vs.0,P=1.000)and V4(0.81%vs.0.33%,P=0.715).There was no significant difference in the proportion of hypotension between the two groups at V2(0.004%vs.0.004%,P=1.000)and V4(0 vs.0.005%,P=0.560).No transient cardiac dysfunction occurred in two groups during the study.A total of five adverse events(1.70%)and one serious adverse event(0.34%)were related to the pathway in target *** In Chinese ACS patients,the feasibility and tolerability of the MSDP have been proved to be acceptable.

We utilize molecular dynamics simulations to investigate the microstructures of ions and polyelectrolytes in aqueous solutions under external electric *** focusing on the multi-body interactions between ionic components and H_(2)O molecules,as well as their responses to the external electric fields,we clarify several nontrivial molecular features of the ionic and polyelectrolyte solutions,such as the solvations of cations and anions,clustering of the ions,and dispersions/aggregations of polyelectrolyte chains,as well as the corresponding responses of H_(2)O molecules in these *** simulations illustrate the variations in structures of ionic solutions caused by reversing the charge sign of the ions,and elucidate the disparity in structures between anionic and cationic polyelectrolyte solutions in the presence of the external electric *** work clarifies the mechanism for the alternations in complex multi-body interactions in aqueous solutions caused by the application electric field,which can contribute to the fundamental understanding of the physical and chemical natures of ion-containing and charged polymeric systems.

Long-term Prognosis of Patients with Acute non-ST-segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction undergoing Different Treatment Strategies

Background： In cardiology, it is controversial whether different therapy strategies influence prognosis after acute coronary syndrome. We examined and compared the long-term outcomes of invasive and conservative strategies in patients with non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction （NSTEMI） and characterized the patients selected for an invasive approach. Methods： A total of 976 patients with acute NSTEMI were collected from December 2006 to October 2012 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University Hospital. They are divided into conservative strategy （586 patients） and invasive strategy （390 patients） group. Unified tbllow-up questionnaire was performed by telephone contact （cut-off date was November, 2013）. The long-term clinical events were analyzed and related to the different treatment strategies. Results： The median follow-up time was 29 months. Mortality was 28.7% （n = 168） in the conservative group and 2.1% （n = 8） in the invasive management at long-term clinical follow-up. The secondary endpoint （the composite endpoint） was 59.0% （n = 346） in the conservative group and 30.3% （n = 118） in the invasive management. Multivariate analysis showed that patients in the conservative group had higher all-cause mortality rates than those who had the invasive management （adjusted risk ratio [RR] = 7.795; 95% confidence interval [CI]： 3.796 16.006, P 〈 0.001）, and the similar result was also seen in tile secondary endpoint （adjusted RR ： 2.102; 95% （7： 1.694-2.610, P 〈 0.001 ）. In the subgroup analysis according to each Thrombolysis in Myocardial Infarction risk score （TRS）, log-rank analysis showed lower mortality and secondary endpoint rates in the invasive group with the intermediate and high-risk patients （TRS 3-7）. Conclusions： An invasive strategy could improve long-term outcomes for NSTEMI patients, especially for intermediate and high-risk ones （TRS 3- 7）.

Lipin proteins including Lipin 1–3 act as transcriptional co-activators and phosphatidic acid phosphohydrolase enzymes,which play crucial roles in lipid ***,little is known about the function of Lipin3 in triglyceride(TG)***,we identified a novel mutation(NM_001301860:p.1835A>T/p.D612V)of Lipin3 in a large family with hypertriglyceridemia(HTG)and obesity through whole-exome sequencing and Sanger *** studies revealed that the novel variant altered the half-life and stability of the Lipin3 ***,we generated Lipin3 heterozygous knockout(Lipin3-heKO)mice and cultured primary hepatocytes to explore the pathophysiological roles of Lipin3 in TG *** found that Lipin3-heKO mice exhibited obvious obesity,HTG,and non-alcoholic fatty liver *** study demonstrated that the haploinsufficiency of Lipin3 in primary hepatocytes may induce the overexpression and abnormal distribution of Lipin1 in cytosol and *** increased expression of Lipin1 in cytosol may contribute to TG anabolism,and the decreased Lipin1 in nucleoplasm can reduce PGC1α,further leading to mitochondrial dysfunction and reduced TG *** study suggested that Lipin3 was a novel disease-causing gene inducing obesity and *** also established a relationship between Lipin3 and mitochondrial dysfunction.
