Accurate and sensitive strategies for Concanavalin A(Con A)sensing are conducive to the better cognition of various important biological and physiological ***,by designing dextran-functionalized fluorescent microspheres(DxFMs)and boric acid-modified carbon dots(BCDs)as recognition unit and built-in signal reference respectively,a ratiometric fluorescent detection platform was proposed for Con A detection with high *** this protocol,the BCDs/DxFMs precipitation was formed due to the covalent interactions between cis-diol of DxFMs and boronic acid groups of BCDs,thus only fluorescence of BCDs could be detected in the *** Con A was presented,it could bind to DxFMs through its carbohydrate recognition ability and suppress the subsequent assembly between DxFMs and BCDs,leading to the simultaneous capture of DxFMs and BCDs fluorescence in the *** the BCDs content was superfluous,their fluorescence intensities were basically constant in all *** on the unchanged BCDs fluorescence signal and target-dependent DxFMs fluorescence signal in supernatant,the ratiometric detection of Con A was *** optimized conditions,this ratiometric fluorescent platform displayed a linear detection range from 0.125μg/mL to 12.5μg/mL with a detection limit of 0.089μg/***,satisfied analytical outcomes for Con A detection in serum samples were obtained,manifesting huge application potential of this ratiometric fluorescent platform in clinical diagnosis.

In this paper,we study spatial cross-sectional data models in the form of matrix exponential spatial specification(MESS),where MESS appears in both dependent and error *** empirical likelihood(EL)ratio statistics are established for the parameters of the MESS *** is shown that the limiting distributions of EL ratio statistics follow chi-square distributions,which are used to construct the confidence regions of model *** experiments are conducted to compare the performances of confidence regions based on EL method and normal approximation method.

A credible traffic prediction method based on self-supervised causal discovery

Next-generation wireless network aims to support low-latency, high-speed data transmission services by incorporating artificial intelligence(AI) technologies. To fulfill this promise, AI-based network traffic prediction is essential for pre-allocating resources, such as bandwidth and computing power. This can help reduce network congestion and improve the quality of service(QoS) for users. Most studies achieve future traffic prediction by exploiting deep learning and reinforcement learning, to mine spatio-temporal correlated variables. Nevertheless, the prediction results obtained only by the spatio-temporal correlated variables cannot reflect real traffic changes. This phenomenon prevents the true prediction variables from being inferred, making the prediction algorithm perform poorly. Inspired by causal science, we propose a novel network traffic prediction method based on self-supervised spatio-temporal causal discovery(SSTCD). We first introduce the Granger causal discovery algorithm to build a causal graph among prediction variables and obtain spatio-temporal causality in the observed data, which reflects the real reasons affecting traffic ***, a graph neural network(GNN) is adopted to incorporate causality for traffic prediction. Furthermore,we propose a self-supervised method to implement causal discovery to to address the challenge of lacking ground-truth causal graphs in the observed data. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the SSTCD method.

Cancer is a leading cause of death *** therapies aimed at key oncogenic driver mutations in combination with chemotherapy and radiother-apy as well as immunotherapy have benefited cancer patients *** protein p53(TP53),a crucial tumor suppressor gene encoding p53,reg-ulates numerous downstream genes and cellular phenotypes in response to various *** affected genes are involved in diverse processes,includ-ing cell cycle arrest,DNA repair,cellular senescence,metabolic homeostasis,apoptosis,and ***,accumulating recent studies have contin-ued to reveal novel and unexpected functions of p53 in governing the fate of tumors,for example,functions in ferroptosis,immunity,the tumor microenvi-ronment and microbiome *** the possibilities,the evolutionary plasticity of p53 is the most controversial,partially due to the dizzying array of biological functions that have been attributed to different regulatory mechanisms of p53 *** 40 years after its discovery,this key tumor suppressor remains somewhat *** intricate and diverse functions of p53 in reg-ulating cell fate during cancer treatment are only the tip of the iceberg with respect to its equally complicated structural biology,which has been painstak-ingly ***,TP53 mutation is one of the most significant genetic alterations in cancer,contributing to rapid cancer cell growth and tumor ***,we summarized recent advances that implicate altered p53 in modulating the response to various cancer therapies,including chemotherapy,radiotherapy,and ***,we also discussed potential strategies for targeting p53 as a therapeutic option for cancer.

Hyperpolarized(HP)^(13)C magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)is a powerful molecular imaging *** dissolution dynamic nuclear polarization(d-DNP),it can achieve dramatic signal increase and allows for dynamic and quantitative investigation of real-time metabolism in vivo.[1]The typical HP^(13)C MRI workflow begins with formulating the^(13)C probe,and then placing it in the hyperpolarization equipment to achieve the desired signal amplification level,which typically amounts to an increase in the MRI signal by more than 10,000 *** subsequent data acquisition is supported by a specialized^(13)C coil and^(13)C acquisition sequence,and finally quantitative and visualized metabolic information is obtained through a post-processing *** date,research of HP^(13)C MRI has focused on diabetes,cardiovascular diseases,and cancers,[2]showing great promises in tumor detection and the evaluation of therapeutic efficacy.

Resource Allocation in Multi-User Cellular Networks:A Transformer-Based Deep Reinforcement Learning Approach

To meet the communication services with diverse requirements,dynamic resource allocation has shown increasing *** this paper,we consider the multi-slot and multi-user resource allocation(MSMU-RA)in a downlink cellular scenario with the aim of maximizing system spectral efficiency while guaranteeing user *** first model the MSMURA problem as a dual-sequence decision-making process,and then solve it by a novel Transformerbased deep reinforcement learning(TDRL)***,the proposed TDRL approach can be achieved based on two aspects:1)To adapt to the dynamic wireless environment,the proximal policy optimization(PPO)algorithm is used to optimize the multi-slot RA strategy.2)To avoid co-channel interference,the Transformer-based PPO algorithm is presented to obtain the optimal multi-user RA scheme by exploring the mapping between user sequence and resource *** results show that:i)the proposed approach outperforms both the traditional and DRL methods in spectral efficiency and user fairness,ii)the proposed algorithm is superior to DRL approaches in terms of convergence speed and generalization performance.

For the performance improvement of microbial fuel cells(MFCs),the anode becomes a breakthrough point due to its influence on bacterial attachment and extracellular electron transfer(EET).On other level,carbon materials possess the following features:low cost,rich natural abundance,good thermal and chemical stability,as well as tunable surface properties and spatial ***,the development of carbon materials and carbon-based composites has flourished in the anode of MFCs during the past *** this review,the major carbon materials used to decorate MFC anodes have been systematically summarized,based on the differences in composition and ***,we have also outlined the carbon material-based hybrid biofilms and carbon material-modified exoelectrogens in MFCs,along with the discussion of known strategies and mechanisms to enhance the bacteria-hosting capabilities of carbon material-based anodes,EET efficiencies,and MFC ***,the main challenges coupled with some exploratory proposals are also expounded for providing some guidance on the future development of carbon material-based anodes in MFCs.

Patterns and drivers of plant sexual systems in the dry-hot valley region of southwestern China

Sexual systems play important roles in angiosperm evolution and exhibit substantial variations among different floras. Thus, studying their evolution in a whole flora is crucial for understanding the formation and maintenance of plant biodiversity and predicting its responses to environmental change. In this study, we determined the patterns of plant sexual systems and their associations with geographic elements and various life-history traits in dry-hot valley region of southwestern China, an extremely vulnerable ecosystem. Of the 3166 angiosperm species recorded in this area, 74.5% were hermaphroditic,13.5% were monoecious and 12% were dioecious, showing a high incidence of diclinous species. Diclinous species were strongly associated with tropical elements, whereas hermaphroditic species were strongly associated with temperate and cosmopolitan elements. We also found that hermaphroditism was strongly associated with showy floral displays, specialist entomophily, dry fruits and herbaceous *** was strongly associated with inconspicuous, pale-colored flowers, generalist entomophily, fleshy fruits, and woody plants, whereas monoecy was strongly associated with inconspicuous, pale-colored flowers, anemophily, dry fruits, and herbaceous plants. In addition, hermaphroditic species with generalist entomophily tended to flower in the dry season, whereas diclinous species with specialist entomophily tended to flower in the rainy season. However, independent of sexual systems, plants that produce dry fruits tended to flower in the rainy season and set fruits in the dry season, but the opposite pattern was found for fleshy fruit-producing plants. Our results suggest that in the dry-hot valleys, plant sexual systems are associated with geographic elements as well as various life-history traits that are sensitive to environmental change.

The research for the Intelligent Reflecting Surface(IRS)which has the advantages of cost and energy efficiency has been *** capacity can be effectively increased by appropriately setting the phase value of IRS elements according to the channel ***,the problem of obtaining an appropriate phase value of IRs is difficult to solve due to the non-convex *** paper proposes an iterative algorithm for the alternating optimal solution in the Single User Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output(SU-MIMO)*** proposed iterative algorithm finds an alternating optimal solution that is the phase value of IRS one by *** results show that the proposed method has better performance than that of the randomized IRS *** number of iterations for maximizing the performance of the proposed algorithm depends on the channel state between the IRS and the receiver.
