In situ cross-linking encapsulation has been demonstrated to be an efficient strategy for enhancing the humidity stability of perovskite solar cells(PSCs).In this study,a novel cross-linkable fullerene derivative,namely1-(p-benzoate-(p-methylvinylbenzene)-indolino[2,3][60]fullerene(FPPS),was readily synthesized from commercially available building blocks in two steps.This FPPS was employed as an interfacial modifier on perovskite surfaces in inverted planar p-i-n PSCs.Owing to the fast interfacial charge extraction and efficient trap passivation,PSCs based on the cross-linked FPPS(C-FPPS)exhibited excellent performance.The PSCs had a top-performing power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 17.82%with negligible hysteresis,compared to the control devices without C-PFFS(16.99%).Moreover,the strong water resistance of the C-FPPS interfacial layer distinctly enhances the ambient stability of PSC devices,exhibiting a t80(the time required to reach 80%of the initial PCE)of 300 h under high-humidity conditions.This significantly surpasses the control devices,whose t80 was only 130 h.These results demonstrate that cross-linkable fullerene derivatives can be promising interfacial materials for designing high-efficiency,hysteresis-free,air-stable PSCs.

Two stereomers of bisadduct analogues of [6,6]-phenyl-C_(71)-butyric acid methyl ester(bisPC_(71)BM) were synthesized and their geometrical structures with cis- or trans-configuration were identified by X-ray crystallography. Although both of the bisPC_(71) BM have similar spectrometric and electrochemical properties, the spatial orientation of the two addition groups on C_(70) has impact on crystal packing and molecular assembly of bisPC_(71) BM isomers and, in turn, photovoltaic performance in polymer solar cell based on poly(3-hexylthiophene)(P3HT)(with power conversion efficiency of 1.72 % and 1.84 % for the solar cells involving cis- and trans-bisPC_(71) BM, respectively). Although the power conversion efficiency remains to be improved, this work exemplifies that the photovoltaic properties of fullerene-based electron acceptors areinfluenced by aggregation of the stereomeric molecules and thus extends the guidelines for rational design of efficient fullerene acceptor.

Urea oxidation reaction(UOR)is proposed as an exemplary half-reaction in renewable energy applications because of its low thermodynamical potential.However,challenges persist due to sluggish reaction kinetics and complex by-products separation.To this end,we introduce the lattice oxygen oxidation mechanism(LOM),propelling a novel UOR route using a modified CoFe layered double hydroxide(LDH)catalyst termed CFRO-7.Theoretical calculations and in-situ characterizations highlight the activated lattice oxygen(O_(L))within CFRO-7 as pivotal sites for UOR,optimizing the reaction pathway and accelerating the kinetics.For the urea overall electrolysis application,the LOM route only requires a low voltage of 1.54 V to offer a high current of 100 mA cm^(-2) for long-term utilization(>48 h).Importantly,the by-product NCO^(-)−is significantly suppressed,while the CO_(2)2/N_(2) separation is efficiently achieved.This work proposed a pioneering paradigm,invoking the LOM pathway in urea electrolysis to expedite reaction dynamics and enhance product selectivity.

Objective To investigate the anti-tumor effects of Pien Tze huang(PZH)in mouse models of B16–F10 melanoma,MC38 colorectal cancer,Hep1-6 hepatocellular carcinoma and chemically induced hepatocellular carcinoma model.Methods Various tumor models,including B16–F10,MC38 and Hep1-6 tumor hypodermic inoculation models,B16–F10 and Hep1-6 pulmonary metastasis models,Hep1-6 orthotopic implantation model,and chemically induced hepatocellular carcinoma model,were utilized to evaluate the anti-tumor function of PZH.Tumor growth was assessed by measuring tumor size and weight of solid tumors isolated from C57BL/6 mice.For cell proliferation and death of tumor cells in vitro,as well as T cell activation markers,cytokine production and immune checkpoints analysis,single-cell suspensions were prepared from mouse spleen,lymph nodes,and tumors after PZH treatment.Results PZH demonstrated significant therapeutic efficacy in inhibiting tumor growth(P0.05).Nevertheless,PZH exhibited a remarkable ability to enhance T cell activation and the production of interferon gamma,tumor necrosis factor alpha,and interleukin 2 in CD4^(+)T cells in vitro(P<0.01 or P<0.05).Importantly,PZH substantially inhibited T cell exhaustion and boosted cytokine production by tumor-infiltrating CD8^(+)T cells(P<0.01 or P<0.05).Conclusion This study has confirmed a novel immunomodulatory function of PZH in T cell-mediated anti-tumor immunity,indicating that PZH holds promise as a potential therapeutic agent for cancer treatment.

In this paper,we introduce a sub-Nyquist sampling-based receiver architecture and method for wideband spectrum sensing.Instead of recovering the original wideband analog signal,the proposed method aims to directly reconstruct the power spectrum of the wideband analog signal from sub-Nyquist samples.Note that power spectrum alone is sufficient for wideband spectrum sensing.Since only the covariance matrix of the wideband signal is needed,the proposed method,unlike compressed sensing-based methods,does not need to impose any sparsity requirement on the frequency domain.The proposed method is based on a multi-coset sampling architecture.By exploiting the inherent sampling structure,a fast compressed power spectrum estimation method whose primary computational task consists of fast Fourier transform(FFT)is proposed.Simulation results are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Background Four-chambered stomach including the forestomachs(rumen,reticulum,and omasum)and abomasum allows ruminants convert plant fiber into high-quality animal products.The early development of this four-chambered stomach is crucial for the health and well-being of young ruminants,especially the immune development.However,the dynamics of immune development are poorly understood.Results We investigated the early gene expression patterns across the four-chambered stomach in Hu sheep,at 5,10,15,and 25 days of age.We found that forestomachs share similar gene expression patterns,all four stomachs underwent widespread activation of both innate and adaptive immune responses from d 5 to 25,whereas the metabolic function were significantly downregulated with age.We constructed a cell landscape of the four-chambered stomach using single-cell sequencing.Integrating transcriptomic and single-cell transcriptomic analyses revealed that the immune-associated module hub genes were highly expressed in T cells,monocytes and macrophages,as well as the defense-associated module hub genes were highly expressed in endothelial cells in the four-stomach tissues.Moreover,the non-immune cells such as epithelial cells play key roles in immune maturation.Cell communication analysis predicted that in addition to immune cells,non-immune cells recruit immune cells through macrophage migration inhibitory factor signaling in the forestomachs.Conclusions Our results demonstrate that the immune and defense responses of four stomachs are quickly developing with age in lamb's early life.We also identified the gene expression patterns and functional cells associated with immune development.Additionally,we identified some key receptors and signaling involved in immune regulation.These results help to understand the early life immune development at single-cell resolution,which has implications to develop nutritional manipulation and health management strategies based on specific targets including key receptors and signaling pathways.

BACKGROUND Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)is one of the most common malignancies worldwide,and its development comprises a multistep process from intraepithelial neoplasia(IN)to carcinoma(CA).However,the critical regulators and underlying molecular mechanisms remain largely unknown.AIM To explore the genes and infiltrating immune cells in the microenvironment that are associated with the multistage progression of ESCC to facilitate diagnosis and early intervention.METHODS A mouse model mimicking the multistage development of ESCC was established by providing warter containing 4-nitroquinoline 1-oxide(4NQO)to C57BL/6 mice.Moreover,we established a control group without 4NQO treatment of mice.Then,transcriptome sequencing was performed for esophageal tissues from patients with different pathological statuses,including low-grade IN(LGIN),high-grade IN(HGIN),and CA,and controlled normal tissue(NOR)samples.Differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were identified in the LGIN,HGIN,and CA groups,and the biological functions of the DEGs were analyzed via Gene Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes enrichment analyses.The CIBERSORT algorithm was used to detect the pattern of immune cell infilt-ration.Immunohistochemistry(IHC)was also conducted to validate our results.Finally,the Luminex multiplex cytokine analysis was utilized to measure the serum cytokine levels in the mice.RESULTS Compared with those in the NOR group,a total of 681541,and 840 DEGs were obtained in the LGIN,HGIN,and CA groups,respectively.Using the intersection of the three sets of DEGs,we identified 86 genes as key genes involved in the development of ESCC.Enrichment analysis revealed that these genes were enriched mainly in the keratinization,epidermal cell differentiation,and interleukin(IL)-17 signaling pathways.CIBERSORT analysis revealed that,compared with those in the NOR group,M0 and M1 macrophages in the 4NQO group showed stronger infiltration,which was validated by IHC.Serum cytokine analysis revealed that,compared with those i

This paper proposes a high-efficiency PFC rectifier based on multiplexing the switches.Compared with a traditional six-switch PFC rectifier,the proposed rectifier extends the switches’active angle by making use of three bridge rectifiers.As a result,lower conduction resistance can be realized for switches.Consequently,system efficiency can be improved.Compared with a traditional six-switch PFC rectifier with doubled switches,the proposed rectifier can achieve almost the same efficiency improvement while no additional switches are needed.Since continuous inductor current is chopped and resulting current pulses cannot be injected into the grid directly,input filter design and resonance damping are discussed for the proposed rectifier.The controller design of the rectifier is analyzed.The inductor current reference is shaped considering the input voltage envelope and forward duties.Finally,the effectiveness of the proposed rectifier is verified through simulations and experiments.
