Three major human coronavirus disease outbreaks,severe acute respiratory syndrome(SARS),Middle East respiratory syndrome(MERS)and 2019 coronavirus disease(COVID-19),occurred in the twenty-first century and were caused by different coronaviruses(CoVs).All these viruses are considered to have originated from bats and transmitted to humans through intermediate ***-CoV-1 and SARS-CoV-2,disease agent of COVID-19,shared around 80%genomic similarity,and thus belong to SARS-related *** a natural reservoir of viruses,bats harbor numerous other SARS-related CoVs that could potentially infect humans around the world,causing SARS or COVID19 like outbreaks in the *** this review,we summarized the current knowledge of CoVs on geographical distribution,genetic diversity,cross-species transmission potential and possible pathogenesis in humans,aiming for a better understanding of bat SARS-related CoVs in the context of prevention and control.

文章基于中国家庭金融调查(CHFS)和省级面板数据,使用基尼系数分别测算了财富不平等与教育公平的状况,利用双向固定效应模型探讨了财富不平等对教育公平的影响,并分析教育扩张和数字经济在其中的调节作用。研究发现:第一,财富不平等降低了教育公平,且滞后两期时影响显著,在使用联立方程模型后仍可得到相同的结论;第二,教育扩张正向调节了财富不平等对教育公平的影响,即教育扩张强化了财富不平等对教育公平的影响,但数字经济在两者关系中未起到明显负向调节作用;第三,异质性分析表明,财富不平等对教育公平的影响在东部地区更为明显,同时存在时间异质性,以2015年为分界点,两者关系在后一段时间区间更加显著。

There were two peach descriptors systems： one from IPRGI in 1980 and the other from China in 1990. The former had only reference cultivars without quantity grades; the latter had only a list of some eharacteristics. This makes it difficult sharing of genetic resource information for breeders. To describe the main quantitative characteristics, a new system was established. Ten characteristics of 346-476 peach cultivars were investigated from 1986 to 2002 in the National Peach Genetic Collection in Zhengzhou City, China. These characteristics and their coefficients of variation were as follows： flower diameter 19.55%, vertical diameter of fruit 14.24%, cheek diameter of fruit 10.36%, suture diameter of fruit 11.44%, stone length 19.04%, stone width 10.86%, stone thickness 11.19%, leaf length 7.9%, leaf width 10.55%, and leaf stalk length 19.03%, respectively. Grade index and reference cultivars were given by statistical data for peach description. These grade indexes were recorded on 1-5 grades, and the third grade as a middle one occupied 39% or more of the distribution. In general, two reference cultivars for each grade were chosen, one is USA cultivar and the other is Chinese cultivar. This paper tried to use them as the reference cultivars, which are planted or used widely by Chinese breeders.

Large-scale metal contamination across the food web is an intractable problem due to increasing pollutant emissions,atmospheric transport,and dry and wet deposition of *** present study focus on several trace metals that are rarely studied but have special toxicity,including tin(Sn),antimony(Sb),gold(Au),hafnium(Hf),palladium(Pd),platinum(Pt),ruthenium(Ru),tellurium(Te)and iridium(Ir).We investigated trace metals residues and distribution characteristics,and further evaluated the potential health risks from major daily food intakes in 33 cities in ***,Sb,Ir,Hf,and Au were frequently detected in food samples with the concentrations ranged from ND(not detected)to 24.78μg/kg ww(wet weight).Eggs exhibited the highest residual level of all detected metals(13.70±14.70μg/kg ww in sum),while the lowest concentrations were observed in vegetables(0.53±0.17μg/kg ww in sum).Sn accounting for more than 50%of the total trace metals concentration in both terrestrial and aquatic animal origin *** terrestrial plant origin foods,Sn and Ir were the most abundant *** and Au were the most abundant elements in egg *** addition,Sb and Ir showed a clear trophic dilution effect in terrestrial environments,while in aquatic ecosystems,Sn,Hf,and Au exhibited obvious trophic amplification *** calculated average estimated daily intake(EDI)via food consumption in five regions of China was 0.09μg/(kg·day),implying the health risk of aforementioned elements was acceptable.

Background Streptococcus pneumoniae （***） is a major causative agent of severe infections,including sepsis,pneumonia,meningitis,and otitis media,and has become a major public health *** report the pneumococcal serotype and sequence type （ST） distribution,and antimicrobial resistance of 39 *** strains from seven hospitals in *** Blood/cerebrospinal fluid （CSF） and sputum isolates from patients were analyzed to determine *** serotypes by polymerase chain reaction （PCR） and the Neufeld Quellung reaction,the multilocus sequence types （MLST） by PCR and sequencing,and susceptibility to antimicrobial agents by the VITEK Gram Positive Susceptibility *** A total of 39 isolates were collected including 21 blood/CSF and 18 sputum *** serotyping by the Quellung reaction required 749 *** contrast,PCR based typing needed only 106 PCR *** most frequent serotypes from the blood/CSF isolates were 14 （38.1%）,19A （14.3%）,23F （9.5%）,and 18C （9.5%）.In the sputum isolates the most frequent serotypes were 19F （33.3%）,23F （16.7%）,19A （11.1%）,and 3 （11.1%）.The incidence of penicillin resistance in the blood/CSF and sputum isolates was 66.7% and 55.6%,*** analysis showed that patients ≤5 years old had a higher resistance to penicillin when they compared with the patients ≥65 years old （P=0.011）.Serotypes 14,19A and 19F were significantly associated with penicillin resistance （P 〈0.001）.ST320,ST271,and ST876 isolates showed high resistant rates to several antibiotics including penicillin （P=0.006）.All of the isolates of serotype 19A were resistant to both penicillin and erythromycin,and they were all multi-drug resistant （MDR） *** The specificity and sensitivity of multiplexPCR are good,and this method represents a substantial savings of time and money,and can be widely used in the laboratory and clinical *** from this research showed an extremely high prev

Genetic Structure of Native Sheep Populations in East and South Asia

Variations of structural loci among 4 sheep populations in China were examined by the method of multiloci electrophoresis, and similar data from 11 sheep populations were taken as basic references to analyze the genetic structure of the native sheep populations in East and South Asia. The results showed that the average heterozygosity and effective number of alleles among 15 populations were 0.2746 and 1.559, respectively. Mongolian sheep possessed the largest average heterozygosity and effective number of alleles. Genetic diversity of sheep populations in Mongolia, China, Vietnam, Bangladesh and Nepal was reduced in this order. The coefficients of genetic differentiation were between 0.0126 and 0.3083, with the average of 0.148, demonstrating that genetic variations lay mainly in populations with 85.2% of the total variations. There exists no correlation between geographical distances and genetic distances. Gene flow was smooth among most populations, which led to inconsistency between geographical distances and genetic distances. The 15 native sheep populations in East and South Asia could be divided into two groups： One group included part populations of China and Mongolia, and the other included Yunnan populations of China, and part populations of Nepal and Bangladesh. Other populations did not cluster together and divide into the above-mentioned two groups. Tills study indicated genetic differentiation of the 15 native sheep populations in East and South Asia was relatively low, geographical isolation was not the main reason affecting genetic differentiation, and the fifteen sheep populations could be divided into two groups according to phylogenetic relationships.

A series of novel naphthalimide-derived metronidazoles as new type of antimicrobial agents were for the first time designed, synthesized and characterized by NMR, IR and HRMS spectra. Experimental results revealed that most of them displayed moderate to good antibacterial activity towards Gram-positive and negative bacteria. Especially, compound 7b was able to not only exhibit effective inhibition towards the growth of P. vulgaris（MIC = 0.002 mmol/m L） and S. dysenteriae（MIC = 0.01 mmol/m L）, but also have rapidly killing effect and prevent the development of bacterial resistance. Further research revealed that the highly active molecule 7b could not only intercalate into calf thymus DNA to form a steady supramolecular complex and thus might block DNA replication to exert the powerful bioactivities, but also be effectively transported by human serum albumin（HSA） via the formation of the 1：1supramolecular complex, in which hydrogen bonds and hydrophobic effect played important roles in the association of compound 7b with HSA. Molecular docking indicated that the supramolecular interactions between 7b and topoisomerase II were driven by hydrogen bonds.

Comparison of Intraperitoneal and Intratesticular GY Y4137 Therapy for the Treatment of Testicular Ischemia Reperfusion Injury in Rats

The efficacy of intraperitoneal GY Y4137 therapy and intratesticular GY Y4137 therapy in an experimental rat model was *** groups were set up as the sham-operation group,torsion/detorsion(T/D)group,T/D plus intraperitoneal GY Y4137(G-IP)group,and T/D plus intratesticular GY Y4137(G-IT)*** order to establish a testicular T/D model,the left testis was opcrated and the rotation reached 720°clockwise which lasted 1 h before *** G-IP group accepted 100 umol/kg of GY Y4137 intraperitoneally 30 min after testicular rotation,while the G-IT group was treated with the same dose by intratesticular *** h after detorsion,the testis was collcted and subsequently *** T/D group showed signifcant changes in histology and an enhancement in the level of oxidative stress and apoptosis compared to the sham-operation *** expression of Caspase-3 and Bax turmed out to be strengthened by T/D and relatively decreased with GY Y4137 treatment in both the G-IP and G-IT ***,the Bcl-2 expression was inhibited in the T/D group,and promoted by GYY4137 in the G-IP and G-IT ***4137,moderating these observed changes,displayed a more protective cffect with G-IT therapy than G-IP *** study indicated that the efficacy of intratesticular therapy with GYY4137 is better than that of intraperitoneal therapy,which may provide a more valuable approach for testicular torsion therapy.
