The use of batteries in.UAVs （un.an.ed aerial vehicles） has become common.due to some advan.ages in.comparison.with in.ern.l combustion.en.in.s such as weight reduction.an. better power con.rol. However, in.these vehicles it is critical to mon.tor the RUL （remain.n. useful life） of the batteries. This in.ormation.can.be used, for in.tan.e, as a decision.support tool to defin. which mission. could be assign.d to the UAV un.il the n.xt battery recharge. This work presen.s a methodology to predict the RUL of Li-Po （Lithium-Polymer） batteries. The approach uses an.exten.ed Kalman.filter an. an.expon.n.ial model for the degradation.evolution. The proposed methodology uses time series of battery termin.l voltages, assumin. that the discharge occurs un.er a con.tan. curren. con.ition. Differen. discharge curren. levels were *** results showed that the proposed methodology provides good results, despite its simplicity.
